This is a 200 year old farm filled with life. There are well groomed areas and other more wild areas. We are on almost 13 acres of land that attracts all forms of natural wildlife. In addition, we have alpacas, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, a cat and chickens. There is a beaver pond on the lower property. Each site includes a place to sit and eat (ie. picnic table), fire pit and just breathtaking views. Campers can drive into and park at their site. Each site is separate and private from other sites. We are 15 minutes from Highland Mountain Bike Park We are 15 minutes from BankNH Pavillon (concerts) We are 15 minutes from The Weirs in Laconia (Bike Week) We have two outdoor showers that are very rustic and open and the water is the temperature of the surrounding air (bring a bathing suit or something to shower in, there is no privacy fence at this time) This is an active farm that has an operating butcher shop on the premises. We have a farm store offering a variety of items for sale including eggs, honey, rubs and much more. There is a microwave available to the campers in the farm store as well. Each site will be given a bundle of fire wood on the house, additional wood is for sale. You are welcome to participate in farm work. Coffee (from a local NH roaster), tea, hot chocolate and potable water (from the faucet) will be available daily. We are a farm family with young children so large and rowdy or drinking parties are very heavily discouraged.

Sand Pond is a spring fed lake near the base of Silver Mountain which is a beautiful and close by hike to 360 views of the surrounding region/mountains. You will have easy and direct access to the sandy beach and swimming. The water is crystal clear and the water around the beach is very shallow which is great for children. The beach has a fire pit available as does the lodge. We have kayaks, a canoe and paddleboards available on the beach for guests to use. Riddle Hill Homestead is a family-run property on 24 acres in Grafton, New Hampshire, bordered by the Smith River and Manfeltree Brook. Our campsites are tucked into the woods, along field edges, and in the meadow, with a mix of open skies, tree cover, brook sounds, and quiet places to sit by the fire. We are a working homestead, not a traditional campground, but we try to make off-grid camping comfortable and welcoming. Campers have access to a community picnic and BBQ area, non-potable water, an off-grid shower area, and a real port-a-potty near the movie and community area. We also provide one gallon of drinking water when you arrive. Most individual sites include a portable camp toilet inside a small pop-up privacy tent. The Meadow sites do not, so please check the individual site description before booking. Most sites also have their own fire pit. The Meadow sites and Overnight Adventurer use community fire pits instead. Your first bundle of firewood is included, and additional bundles are available for $5. Our roadside Cookie Shop carries fresh-baked cookies, cold drinks, novelty ice creams, local products, eggs from our hens, snacks, and a small honor-system selection of camping basics and forgotten essentials when available. In October 2025, the shop was featured as the first stop on NH Chronicle’s Cookie Crawl. During normal rainfall, the brook is a nice place to wade and explore, though water levels depend on the season and weather. Nature provides most of the background noise. You may hear hens announcing a freshly laid egg, Mister the rooster crowing, peepers, frogs, birds, crickets, the brook, or an occasional owl. We also have dark skies and quiet country evenings. The town beach and Northern Rail Trail are a short walk away. Hiking, lakes, mountain views, Ruggles Mine, and Haunting Whisper Vineyard & Spirits are also nearby. Please remember that Riddle Hill Homestead is a working rural property. Wildlife, farm animals, uneven ground, tall grass, changing weather, bugs, and country sounds are all part of the experience. We are excited to offer this amazing tipi camping experience on our working horse property. The tipi design is the basic Sioux design; the makers of our tipi were chosen to provide all the tipis for the movie Dances with Wolves because of their respect for authenticity and excellent craftsmanship. The tipi is 18' W x 15' H. Inside, it is roughly 16' in diameter and 13'2" high. It has a 6' entrance with a zippered door and mosquito mesh. There is mosquito netting around the top smoke flaps and a critter guard mesh that covers the bottom circumference where the tipi and floor meet. To keep things warm on those chilly nights or take the edge off the crisp morning air, there is a small wood pellet stove inside. There is a queen-size futon and plenty of space to sleep on the floor with your own sleeping bags or cots. The maximum occupancy is 6 people. The campsite setup is a mixture of Indigenous and Cowboy Western culture. It features a dining area close to the tipi with a picnic table. You can relax at the fire pit area beside the Kampfire Cauldron (handmade on-site!) and enjoy cookouts, campfires, and great conversations with friends and family while listening to the calm waters of Giles Brook a few feet away. Firewood is included in your stay. An outhouse is also located nearby, so you don’t have to entirely "rough it." Potable water can be provided if you do not bring your own. Local activities include: hiking trails, parks, lakes, horseback rides, kayaking, fishing, motorsports, relaxing by the creek on-site, axe throwing, range, skiing/tubing, and so much more!

Welcome to Long Shores Yurt, a unique off-grid glamping experience in a 20-foot Two Girls Farm yurt. Our yurt is completely off-grid, with no electricity, no Wi-Fi, no running water, and spotty cell service. A wood stove keeps the yurt warm and cozy during chilly nights, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax, just a short walk from the private neighborhood beach! Guests will park in front of the property and walk a short path from the parking area to the yurt. Along the way, you'll pass a shed that contains the compost toilet, propane camp stove, and pump sink. There is no running water on-site, so guests may want to bring their own drinking water. There is a rainwater collection system with two barrels outside that is typically full, but we cannot guarantee water will be available. We also do not recommend drinking this water, as it is neither tested nor filtered. Inside the yurt, there is a wood stove available for use during chilly days and nights. Please note that there is no heat in the shed. The urine-diverting compost toilet is located inside the shed behind a curtain. It has a ventilation hose and will remain odor-free as long as the provided instructions are followed. Bedding is provided for the full-size bed. A flashlight is also available for your use. There are string lights inside the yurt that can be turned on using the remote or by pressing the button on the lights. Please note that neighboring homes are visible on both sides of the property (see photos for proximity). We kindly ask that you respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 p.m. The yurt is located on a dirt road with a few paved sections. You'll drive approximately 0.8 miles on the dirt road to reach the property, and some areas can be a bit bumpy. Parking is available in a dirt pull-off area off the road. Please do not park in the neighbors' driveways. A solar shower bag is provided for your use. Simply fill it with water and leave it outside to warm in the sun. A pop-up outdoor shower enclosure is also available and is stored in the shed. Other Things to Note Please keep in mind that this is a glamping experience. While we do our best to remove bugs from inside the yurt, you should expect to see spiders and other insects during your stay. Dogs are welcome as long as they are fully house-trained and are not left unattended inside the yurt. Dogs must be kept on a leash while outside, and guests are expected to clean up after their pets. This was about one of the best campsites on the east coast I’ve ever visited. Do not be deterred by the port a potty bathroom, you are close enough to civilization that if you need an upgrade it’s within a short drive. The privacy, the access to the river, and how amazing the river was (clear and clean). The amount of space you have, the view of nearby mountains and the fields of tall plant life separating you from the rest do the world. It doesn’t get much better than this.

Place is a gem! We stayed at 1, which seems the most private out of all the sites from what I could tell. Nice and cool under the trees, easy access to the water where 2 rivers meet - closest river is shallow and warmer and good for rinsing dishes and getting the tootsies wet, the other one is a bit cooler and drops to at least 4+ feet and good for swimming and bathing!

A beautiful and largely secluded property in the corner of a large ranch. The teepee is large and cozy. There's a large steel cauldron which serves as the fire pit, and grates that can be used for cooking. Picnic tables for eating and a port-a-potty for ... the other end of your meal. Scenery is beautiful and there are nice small trails to walk around. Only downsides - a neighbor's house is about a quarter-mile down the road and noises/lights from their car can be noticeable at times. My wife thought the teepee smelled a little musky, like dog, but I couldn't smell this myself.

We absolutely loved Site 3 at Horseshoe Bend! It’s incredibly private and spacious, with mountain views, a huge field, woods, and easy access to a little sandy beach. Honestly, it was even prettier than the photos. Our two Goldens were in heaven. They could safely explore well away from the road and spent plenty of time splashing and swimming. We could occasionally hear campers at Site 4, but never saw them, and otherwise it felt like we had the place to ourselves. There’s plenty of room for a larger rig—our 28-foot Airstream fit easily and the pull-through site required very little leveling. Definitely take the host’s advice about good ground clearance, though! The field has some dips and we were very happy to have our 3-inch lift. The site has a picnic table, fire ring, swing, grill table and platform, plus your choice of sun or shade. Great open sky for Starlink, decent T-Mobile service, and no issue using our generator. The host was fantastic—responsive and helpful, but hands-off in the best way. We ventured out for the wonderful Saturday Tamworth Farmers’ Market, but otherwise we were perfectly happy hanging at camp, letting the dogs swim, enjoying the views and stargazing at night. Best endorsement we can give: we loved it so much that we’ve already booked Site 3 again for fall leaf-peeping!

Their 24 acre property is sunny, spacious and has a babbling brook that meanders through embankments covered in wild flowers. Come here to relax, reconnect and rejuvenate. And as hosts go, Michelle and Jim are hospitable and very welcoming to their little slice of homesteader paradise.

We really enjoyed our stay. Mark and Jessica were super friendly and accommodating, neighbors were very nice and quiet, and site felt private even though it’s near other campers. It’s a corner lot which is great. Had everything we needed, and was only 8-10 mins from Walmart and multiple major grocery stores + restaurants. Close to Quincy Bog trails, Stinson Lake, and Rattlesnake Mountain. Overall we loved this place and hope to return sometime.

Beautiful edge-of-farm site with privacy. The campsite are close enough to the car and portapotty for easy access, but far enough from the road and owner-occupied house to have privacy.

What a fantastic site! We tent camped right under the gorgeous maple tree on site. From the views to the quiet we really couldn’t get enough! The swing , hands down my personal favorite part . My boyfriend was a huge fan of the river , definitely worth bringing a floaty! Easy check in and out , for sure will be looking to come back ! The site is nice and big , making it really easy to throw up a tent and park . Tons of things to do in the area , amazing scenic views and hiking .
