My wife and I booked this as a couples' getaway and had a wonderful time. Despite rainy weather for much of our stay, the pondfront setting was beautiful and peaceful. The wood-burning stove made the cottage especially cozy, and we found ourselves enjoying the sound of the rain and the view across the water. A perfect place to unplug, relax, and spend quality time together. We'd definitely come back.

The perfect feeling of elevated camping! The wrap around windows and bench seats make this place so cozy. You have most everything you may need as noted in other reviews. Worth noting electricity is on generator only but there was even a charger battery pack left for us with outlet/USB connections should you need it to charge phones and such. Only turned electricity on for use of coffee pot!

Amazing! The view is amazing. Everything is thought out and this is a great glamping option on a beautiful piece of the pond. Instructions were easy and the cottage and port o potty was spotless. This is a special place that will definitely be on our local rotation of places to come back to!

Enjoyed Judith’s place so much! On the water and anything you need from a store is just 15 minutes away. Judy was a responsive and accommodating host. A joy to deal with. Look forward to returning, and I’ll make sure to bring my hammock next time.

We had a great time at Sip Pond! The views were unbeatable. We kayaked around during the day and had campfires at night.
Bring a pot/pan, but otherwise everything was great:)

Judy's cottage on Sip Pond was the perfect weekend stay for us and our water-loving dog. We brought most of our camping supplies but were pleasantly surprised when the cottage had basically everything we needed (cooking utensils, plates, towels, etc.). It was so nice to have drinking water, clean and comfy bed, and clean porta-potty. Waking up to gorgeous pond views was such a treat.
Sip Pond is wonderful - we spent all day on the water, kayaking and fishing. The neighbors that we bumped into were extremely kind and welcoming. We wished we stayed longer! We hope to come stay at the cottage and enjoy the pond again at some point.

Lovely lake front setting with incredible sunsets. Enjoyed it thoroughly. We used the SUPs and Kayaks to paddle past the Lilly pads and swim in the clear middle of the lake. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. The on demand hot water for washing dishes wasn't available, but there were 2 paper plates and some bowls and plastic silverware. We have stuff, so not a big deal. You can hear road noise, but we knew that was a thing and the cabin being not far to travel made it not a deal breaker. The place was clean and cute and the wood stove was wonderful. We wouldn't go there in the summer season as I can imagine it gets pretty loud. The house next door had a bunch of kids/late teens (?) stay the last night we were there and they were pretty loud. Running thru the woods chasing each other with flashlights. Practically came right up to our door, which upset my husband, but that was the worst of it. They didn't seem like they were trying to do anything more than have some fun. We'd stay at the cabin again for sure. It was close and it had the kayaks already there and it was nice and cozy in the cabin. Didn't use the generator and there was a port o potty, so it was ok. I'd recommend it off season as a nice way to get away!

A very relaxing and enjoyable setting. There’s much natural beauty and animal activity to immerse yourself in. Also very close to the Cheshire rail to trail for hikes and bikes.

This was such a relaxing staycation. Although we brought most of the items we used ,Judy was a gracious host and had everything you could need for a day at the lake. There was nature all around and if your patient and quiet you may share this same experience. A quick heads up, The provided directions can be a little trickier at night so try to plan for daylight arrival (the road becomes woodland terrain). During mid August was our time of stay and the dragonflies can get very aggressive by the lounge chairs. We loved our stay so much we hope to be welcomed back, happy camping!

Really beautiful cottage - the pictures don’t quite do it justice! For me, this was the perfect mix of being one with nature while still having some creature comforts that made the stay extra pleasant. Bed is super comfy and the space itself is airy, clean, and roomy. Judy was a great host and provided everything we needed so that we could pretty much just roll up to the site and unwind right away. Excellent spot for easygoing kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. We enjoyed all of it. Can’t recommend enough!

Wow! Judith’s camp was our favorite Hip Camp experience so far! The pond is beautiful, and the cabin is comfy and modern. We loved the fire pit and the wood stove. The portapotty was clean and everything was well-stocked. Really appreciated not having to carry out our trash. Neighbors and store nearby have firewood, but cell reception is spotty (if that matters to you, but we were prepared!). We will definitely come back, and will have to try out the kayaks next time!

Sip Pond Camp is a very cute cottage with nice amenities. All we brought was a cooler, drinking water & firewood. Judy thought of everything else! She was easy to communicate with and helpful. It was very clean and comfortable inside. There was a nice gas grill, screened cabana & fire pit. Watching the sunsets were lovely! It was nice to have kayaks & paddleboards available to use. We stayed Labor Day weekend and the lake weeds were VERY BAD in front of the cabin, so it made it tough to swim or fish. We did catch a variety of fish though. We took the paddleboards out away from the weeds and dunked in to cool off. We thought this was going to be a quiet, peaceful retreat with our dog to shut the world out. Unfortunately there was a lot of loud parties with bands & loud music all weekend, fireworks/M80's & shooting across the lake. We did not sleep well and it stressed our poor dog out. Maybe non holiday weekends are different?
Be prepared that there is no cell service either, so do your research of area before arriving and download all of Judy's directions. There are great hiking trails just North of the cottage and Mount Monadnock is only 20 minutes(FYI...They do not allow dogs).

The cabin was surprisingly new and extremely well provisioned. Overall very clean, chic, and functional. The cabin really went beyond my expectations in many ways. The lake is great for kayaking adventures and fishing but not the best for swimming. Leeches and snakes are plentiful in the shallower areas with more plants, but if you get out to the middle of the lake you should be fine. Judy is an amazing host and makes sure you have everything you need for your stay🙂

I planned a surprise anniversary trip for my husband for a weekend away and it did not disappoint. The cabin was well stocked with everything you need for a great weekend! Judy provided paper plates, silverware, grill tools, washing station, tea kettle, French press, coffee maker, microwave, salt/pepper, paper towels, and many other kitchen items. The cabin was super clean and organized, with everything you could think of. There were towels you could use if needed and other amenities like bug spray, sunscreen and even advil. She thought of everything. The grill was clean and had extra propane in the shed. There were 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards with a pump and oars in the shed if you need it. The porta potty was amazingly clean too and was a short walk away from the cabin. The fire pit at night was great and eating outside under the screened in canopy was perfect so we didn’t get eaten alive by bugs. The view of the pond was beautiful especially with the sunsets. The pond itself was a little murky though. We couldn’t swim near the dock, as there was an over abundance of seaweed and lily pads. The only way to get to clearer water is to kayak or paddleboard out from the dock. The neighbors who are seasonal campers are close by, but extremely nice. They appreciated us driving slow and even invited us to their annual rodeo party and enjoyed fireworks next door. We loved Sip Pond and hope to come back! Thank you Judy for a great weekend!

Wow, pictures honestly don't do this place justice. I've been burned by other camping sites and lying hosts but I won't get into there here lol. But this place...is somehow BETTER than the pics. Beautiful, so peaceful, bigger than what the pics show, and SO may amenities supplied by the host. Places to put dirty dishes/towels, a bin with sunscreen and bugspray, a bundle of wood was even waiting for us! The fishing was amazing, my fiance got the biggest pike he had ever seen-then snagged another BIGGER one ten minutes later! Not to mention the best sleep we've had in years.
Immediately after walking into the space we agreed that we would absolutely come back-and we are gonna finalize our next trip within the week!
11 out of 10, just amazing!

Inside was perfect I’m quite tidy so I appreciate it, thank you for thinking of and sharing all the necessities (fans, extra towels, blankets, flashlights, lanterns) :) this was meant to be a simple weekend away and that’s just what it was. Although my boyfriend and I didn’t like the pond for swimming ourselves due to the seaweed boom - we thoroughly enjoyed it by paddling, kayaking, and playing fetch with the dog for endless hours. Lots of wildlife here!

Judy created an amazing and relaxing space. We had time to unwind, watch sunsets, a summer storm, fireworks, and the moon set across the lake. The interior was clean, modern, and super functional. The cottage was very thoughtfully equipped with anything a visitor could need (bug spray, sun block, kitchen utensils, beach towels, even Advil). We never ran the generator, as we brought lots of batteries - but seems to be a great option for someone that needs temporary electricity. The screened in dining table outside is great for when the mosquitoes come out. We are very lowkey campers and travelers, so we didn't mind using the porta potty. We got to take advantage of the stand up paddle boards and kayaks to explore the pond. Our pooch enjoyed lake life as much as we did and we will most certainly be back.

Had a great time at this beautiful camp! It is a great view, has kayaks, paddle boards, cornhole, grill, etc. Judy has everything thoughtfully done! We can not wait to go to this little piece of heaven again!

We had a great time staying in the cottage by Big Sip! We spent the days kayaking, swimming, reading by the lake and by the beautiful windows, and looking for birds. Everything anyone could want for a pleasant weekend away was provided and very easy to use. Great dock, fire pit, grill, and lake side seats! The cottage itself was clean and super comfortable! Would easily recommend to anyone and would love to go again!
