A paradise for hikers, historians, and nature lovers! Twenty acres connect to thousands of acres of state-protected land. The Wapack Trail runs along one side of the property, and Casalis Forest borders the other. Across the road are Miller State Park and Cunningham Lake. Hike for miles on trails that have been used since before the founding of the USA—thousands of acres and miles of trails await.
The cabin is located on the historic "Old Mountain Road" (now a Class 6 trail), which was the main road to Peterborough during the late 1700s and early 1800s. The property is surrounded by cellar holes, making it a dream for hikers, hunters, and metal detector enthusiasts.

We had such a great time at the yurt and exploring the property with our two dogs! Morgan did a great job of showing us everything we needed to know for our stay. The yurt itself is absolutely beautiful and truly makes you feel like you’re sleeping in nature. The location that they chose to build the yurt provides an amazing view of the mountains right out the front window. We opted to use the wood-fired hot tub while we were there and it was a fantastic experience. Although the wood stove was out of commission during our stay, the space heaters that were provided were more than enough to keep the yurt toasty, even during the cold late November nights. We would gladly come back again!

I loved camping on Lori's land. All the glamping tents are very private, and you have to walk about 100 yards from the car, so there is no noise at all. The outhouse was super clean and so cool inside. The bed in the tent was very comfortable and had enough room for the dog as well. The land is beautiful with North Conway only a 30 min drive for great food and coffee! I highly recommend this Hip Camp!

We stayed in the yurt for a weekend and loved it! Bed was comfy and thought the woodstove wasn't working, the space heater kept us cozy. Morgan and Rush were excellent hosts, answered all our questions graciously and made us very welcome. The woodfired hot tub was glorious. Hope we can visit again someday!

Lori was great at communicating directions, etc. and the campsite felt tucked away with nice touches like picnic table, high counter for cooking, comfy chairs and camp ring. The property is absolutely gorgeous with amazing views of the mountains from anywhere you are. We stayed at River run tent site and LOVED it. The tenting, bathhouse and air bb sites are all so well maintained and cute. We loved that it was so spaced out between sites, making it feel private and more immersed in the beautiful NH mountains. Public beach available to guests that’s right on the river. The little reception cabin had anything you might need and availability to buy wood bundles at anytime. We will definitely be back!

This was a great campsite! Close to the hikes in White Mountain yet enough away from the crowd. The tent setup and beds are cozy, there are a lot of supplies to use, and as everyone says but worth repeating this is the nicest and cleanest outhouse I've seen. Unfortunately I was only here for a brief stay as I was just passing through, but would love to come back for a longer time.

This yurt stay was peaceful, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed from top to bottom. Everything inside had a clear purpose and was arranged to make settling in feel natural. It’s clear a lot of care went into creating a space that supports rest without distraction.
The scenery surrounding the site was a real highlight—wide, uninterrupted views that made even quiet moments feel expansive. It’s also very secluded, with a strong sense of privacy.
Communication with the host was smooth and prompt, which added to the low-stress feel of the whole trip. One delightful highlight: they make their own maple syrup on the property, and it’s excellent—rich, smooth, and clearly crafted with skill.
If you’re looking for a place to unplug without giving up basic comfort, this is a solid option. Balanced, quiet, and beautifully situated.

We loved Baker's Rock. We booked Into the Woods for a weekend with a couple of friends and we had a wonderful time disconnecting from the world. Bathrooms and showers were close by and clean. Amanda is extremely accommodating and welcoming! We plan to come back again next year to check out another Baker's Rock sites.

Absolutely sweeping views! The yurt has power. Hot water shower outside with a sink behind it. We went in the rain and staying dry was absolutely no problem at all. I cannot get over how beautiful the land is. When I say sweeping views, I mean you can see many, many mountains through the door of the yurt. Morgan was fantastic, friendly, and hospitipal. Highly recommend!

I loved staying at Amanda’s campsite! It is absolutely lovely with a nice view of the little mountain nearby and the river. The fire pit is super nice and there are chairs provided, as well as a whole picnic table! It’s easy to get to and I liked that I could pull my car into the site for easy unloading. Amanda was wicked accommodating and helpful. We actually had to come back a different night due to a fire ban and we were super thankful Amanda was flexible and allowed us to change our reservation. 10/10 would recommend! Also, the bathroom was awesome. Super clean and the shower was warm!!! You can’t get better for a price like this.
