SnugLife Clearing Riverfront Access
A very lovely spot! Plenty of space for our group of 4 and even a game of polish horseshoes. We loved the fire pit/cooking grate, picnic table, and sound of river to fall asleep to. Great communication with the host when we were missing water/firewood at check in. I didn’t think we’d have any issues with the short hike, but it was no joke pushing up a full wheelbarrow!! Be prepared for a workout.

Decent site, Pack lightly though
It's a nice site by a calming river (sound is easy to sleep to), and pretty clean except for the port a potty (suspect trash inside and dirty overall so we avoided it).
Also plenty of space for tents and a resting tent, highly recommended to stay safe from the bugs.
There were a couple cons like the sound of extremely heavy machinery not too far away during the working day (gone at night).
The biggest con (which is mentioned in the description I think) is the hike down to the camp site itself. The hike from parking to the site takes about 10-20 minutes depending on how much you're wheelbarrowing/carrying and your fitness level, to be frank. We had to take several trips back and forth and it was a workout. It is a tough hike for anyone.
The host helped us as much as needed, they were great.

Peaceful, Secluded Camping!
Like most of the reviews say, the campsite is so peaceful. The ground is nice and flat so great for setting your tent up next to a roaring stream and under large pine trees. They a provide picnic table, a fire pit (great for cooking on) and big chairs for around the fire. With the walk in, it feels very private and isolated which was nice. Jodi is also very responsive with any questions I had. The only thing I would say, is the hike is straight down a muddy hill and through a muddy section (if it's been raining) so it's not for everyone. Carting my things out in the wheelbarrow straight up the hill took a lot of effort, so just be prepared or pack everything in on your back. Other than that, I am thrilled to know such a beautiful spot for camping is near by and hope to return.

Adventure! Great folks, pretty site
Wow! What a weekend! So first of all, the hike it was a bit more than we expected, not distance wise but due to the terrain and some flooding from recent rains. Fortunately there were a lot of workarounds in place for us and we brought our mucking mud boots!! Essential for this particular year, I'd say.
Once we got to the site, we were so happy with it. Great little spot on the river. The tent was clean and stocked with some essentials like the bug spray that we used immediately because we hadn't unpacked ours yet. Really enjoyed exploring around the campsite. Heard a REALLY LOUD barred owl (?) screech, saw lots of chimpmunks and early one morning while getting the fire going I saw a HUGE HERON flying right up the river. So cool.
Airmatress camping turns out is not my favorite, but we managed with some extra blankets and a sleeping bag. One member of our trip opted for the floor with a sleeping mat and there was plenty of space for it in the tent.
We lucked out with the weather and had a great time relaxing and eating good camp food cooked on the rented camp stove for the weekend. The spot is very shady so prepared for buggies if it's that time of year. They were more than we expected but fortunately the tent is well enclosed to keep them out.
Super happy with our adventure! Thanks for a great stay!

The site itself, 5/5 stars! Beautiful spot by the river, lots of space, very private! The way down is wetter/muddier/longer and harder than you think it is, especially after rain.
As advised by the host welcome email, bring boots! You will be fine. Pack lighter too, round-trip is 15+mins and tricky as you push a cart/wheelbarrow.

SnugLife Heated Riverfront Campsite
The campsite itself is beautiful, right on the water and the wood stove makes it nice and comfortable at night time. 100% Recomend purchasing the wood delivered to the site, very worth it. Only complaint I would have is the trail down is very muddy and hard to bring stuff down if your planning on more than a backpacking amount. However we did stay there after one of the rainiest months the northeast ever had so might normally be fine.

Best camping experience
My boyfriend and I love this site! This was our second year in a row that we came for my birthday & I couldn’t have asked for anything better! It’s a little bit of a hike to get down to the site but totally worth it!!! So secluded and serene. 🧘🏼♀️ We had some extra lighter fluid so we left it for the next guests. Hopefully that was okay. We will surely be back next year!

Relaxing Riverside Getaway!
Campsite was beautiful! Right on the river, and you get to listen to it all night which is so nice. The wildlife was out and about during my stay and it was fun to watch! The walk there was not as bad as I anticipated, but I can see that it would be hard to walk through if it rained. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway I highly recommend this campsite!

SnugLife Heated Riverfront Campsite
This little campsite had a beautiful, peaceful setting. The firepit, picnic table with benches, and the riverfront was lovely to hang out by. The woodstove inside was very nice and warmed up the cabin very fast which was nice for a rainy night we experienced.
There were lots of ticks, though, so I would suggest bringing a mosquito and tick spray. The sleeping area itself was nice, although the top bunk air mattress didn't stay inflated. The .2 mile trek out to the campsite from the parking area could really use some bridges or anything to avoid that deep, wet mud we trekked through. Especially with the wagon to bring all your belongings down. Just a few long trees or branches put side by side would help a whole lot. Besides that, was a nice place for a couple nights.

Quiet retreat along the stream
This is such a special spot. A clearing right on the river which ebbs and flows seasonally. This visit there were lots of salamanders to be found and we had some great river. The fire pit has a handy swivel grate over it for cooking and the Jody et. al. are very responsive and kind. We can’t wait to visit again!

Only for backpack camping!
The space is beautiful, but I would only book here if you’re backpacking in. The walk to the site is more of a long hike, and for us, it was mostly through mud. Fortunately, the hosts had two wheelbarrows for us to use to lug our cooler and tons of gear, but we were not prepared for it. In fact, my girlfriend’s sneakers were thrown in the trash after this trip. All this being said, if you’re backpack campers, this is an ideal spot. The river and site were beautiful and serene.

Hi! My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend and it was a great getaway! Though it was a bit cold and the hike to the site was rough, once we arrived it was adorable! The fire wood stove worked great for heating and cooking! The river lulled us to sleep every night, it was truly an amazing experience! I would love to see it in the summer! This trip will definitely happen again some time soon! Host was super friendly and kind, overall a great experience!

Peaceful getaway
Jody and Keith, thank you so much for letting me find some peace and relaxation at the clearing! I had a lovely time, even with all of the rain. The site was clean and well kept. Keith was so kind to bring a tarp for the wood I purchased through them so that it remained dry (it was definitely a wheel barrel load)! I've already told friends about this location! As others have said, the walk to the camp site does get steep at times, but pack light and you'll be fine.

amazing riverfront view
such a beautiful place to set up camp! dont underestimate the hike down to the spot, the terrain was a little bumpy and some inclines. the river was so soothing and it was nice to have a firepit and table already there. I just showed myself to the spot when i arrived, directions and signs were clear on where to go with was very helpful. i will definitely be back if i’m even in NH again!

Absolutely beautiful site along the river with lots of trees, privacy. I like that we were away from our car and the wheelbarrow was very helpful iin getting our stuff there - little hike with all our stuff was fun for us, but there is a hill. There is a nice fire pit and we ordered wood, which was super dry and easy. I don't think there was a spigot for water, but we had plenty.

Beautiful, secluded, and fantastic!
I would HIGHLY recommend this location and our whole family is excited to return here again. This was our first family camping adventure and it was fantastic! The location was exactly what I was hoping for: beautiful, quiet, clean, removed but easily accessible. Our entire family had a blast exploring the river and enjoying the beautiful wooded surroundings, especially the changing autumn leaves. The campsite was perfectly equipped with just what you need while allowing plenty of freedom to bring in your own tent and gear. The trek down to the site is rugged but manageable; we actually enjoyed it because it made us feel like we were hiking out to our own secluded location! Keith was a great host bringing our firewood down to the camp and lending us a trailer to get our gear to the site. Thanks again, Keith and Jody, for a wonderful adventure!

10/10 would recommend
10/10 would recommend Snuglife to anyone who is looking for something a little more secluded than your typical New England campsite with the convenience of being 1.5 hours from Boston. Come prepared, but don't overpack - the walk between parking and campsite gets a little steep. We could hear a fair amount of vehicular traffic in the distance, but the wildlife and the river dominated most of the time. The hosts were great and helped facilitate an awesome weekend of camping.
