Sacred Nectar rests on the land of the Wabanaki Tribes. This land, now known by it's view gifting fields, is one of Sandwich's top treasured gems. The Historic Farm was purchased by Townsend Thorndike from the first colonizing family to claim ownership of this unceded land, the McCrillis family. It was Town's place to get away from the busy life. As time went on and his money dwindled and plans to sell off some of the land arose.
Townsend's son, Nick, foresaw a devastating development of conventional homes that would diminish the soul of this sacred land that held so much magic. So, Nick decided to move back to the homestead to create an example of what a healthy life for the land and its inhabitants looks like. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an Intentional lifestyle. One in which we hope to share our way of being that brings awareness to the natural world we have fallen so far from. Nick and his tribe of like minds are creating a holistic, educational, retreat, workshop, and event center where people can come to learn how to co-exist in a harmonious relationship with nature and each other. Camp with your group at our private Tree Farm / Conservation / Recreation Area. Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Choose from one of four unique sites / outdoor spaces to best fit your camping needs; book a combination to reserve a section of the mountain, or book all four sites for total privacy or for events.
Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of multi-use nature trails, multiple scenic lookouts, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, and a dock on our private eight acre pond with available boat rentals.
At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers.
Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. Since, we have been hosting campers on a daily basis and continuously improving our sites / infrastructure / views. We’re excited to see what the next two decades hold; come join us on the mountain!

Hiking on several miles of maintained nature trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Relaxing/taking in the scenery from several scenic lookouts located on and around the mountain’s summit; combined they provide a 360-degree view spanning from the NH/ME Seacoast to the White Mountains of NH, to the Green Mountains of VT. Fishing, paddling, swimming, or relaxing on our dock. Bird/wildlife watching, berry picking, stargazing and leaf peeping.
This is a place you can easily spend a few days and keep busy!

Dancing Bear Farm is a working farm with silvopastured chickens, turkeys, goats, and horses. Campsites are at the edge of the hayfields overlooking a view of Mt. Ascutney and Mt. Sunapee and excellent sunrises!
During your stay you are welcome to visit the animals, explore the forested trails, and walk up to the pond. There is a shared campfire and pavilion that guests are welcome to use, as well as a restroom with flush toilet and handwashing sink close to the campsites. Firewood is provided though we also have higher quality firewood bundles available to purchase.
We can also offer a customized farm experience for an additional cost! Hike with the goats, harvest in the garden, or meet the baby animals! Traveling with kids? We can offer a private kids farm class while the grownups head off for their own adventures.
We sometimes host educational workshops on site, including in the pavilion. When you book we will let you know if your stay coincides with an educational program. Guests are welcome to join in with a 15% discount to any of our public workshops!

Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain.
Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity.
The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so.
The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

Hikers are welcome to wander along old logging roads through our sugarbush, and along trails throughout the remainder of the property (300+ ac. total) where there are numerous springs and creeks, mystical softwoods, expansive grassy fields, and a wild apple orchard. Moose, deer, and bear tracks are common, but animal encounters are not - still, please sequester your food accordingly and be mindful to carry out scraps or place them in lidded containers.

If the weather is better, and you want a more scenic way there with hiking -- take the 25 minute drive down to Lincoln and travel the amazing Kancamangus Scenic Byway (Route 112). This is 35 miles through the White Mountains with no gas stations, so you might want to top off while in Lincoln.
Thirty minutes east is the Mount Washington Cog Railway, and you will pass the historic Mount Washington Hotel on the way. Fifteen minutes south and you can be at Franconia Notch State Park.

Our tent and yurt sites are located on 5 acres of private woods and are 4 acres apart to allow for maximum privacy for our guests!
Parking for both sites are shared. The tent is 50 yards up a rustic wooded path through the woods and the yurt is an 800 yard (10 minute) uphill walk from the parking area.
Both sites are adjacent to our local network of hiking/biking trails that connect to the summit of Mount Agassiz, which offers stunning views of Franconia Notch. Additionally, within a half hour drive, you have access to some of the best hiking in the North East. We are happy to provide recommendations! The surrounding towns are home to three different breweries, numerous restaurants serving up delicious food and quaint main streets.
Through the generous permission of surrounding landowners and the stewardship of the Bethlehem Trails Association, guests can access this trail network to enjoy the views from the summit of Mount Agassiz for top notch single-track mountain biking.
We live one town over and are just a phone call away. If you walk the trails, you may encounter a friendly neighbor's dog but all our guests enjoy the privacy and solitude the mountain provides.

Riddle Hill Homestead is a family-run property on 24 acres in Grafton, New Hampshire, bordered by the Smith River and Manfeltree Brook. Our campsites are tucked into the woods, along field edges, and in the meadow, with a mix of open skies, tree cover, brook sounds, and quiet places to sit by the fire.
We are a working homestead, not a traditional campground, but we try to make off-grid camping comfortable and welcoming. Campers have access to a community picnic and BBQ area, non-potable water, an off-grid shower area, and a real port-a-potty near the movie and community area. We also provide one gallon of drinking water when you arrive.
Most individual sites include a portable camp toilet inside a small pop-up privacy tent. The Meadow sites do not, so please check the individual site description before booking.
Most sites also have their own fire pit. The Meadow sites and Overnight Adventurer use community fire pits instead. Your first bundle of firewood is included, and additional bundles are available for $5.
Our roadside Cookie Shop carries fresh-baked cookies, cold drinks, novelty ice creams, local products, eggs from our hens, snacks, and a small honor-system selection of camping basics and forgotten essentials when available. In October 2025, the shop was featured as the first stop on NH Chronicle’s Cookie Crawl.
Friday Night Movie Night is one of our favorite summer traditions. Campers are welcome to bring a chair or blanket, grab a snack, and watch a family-friendly movie under the stars. Some nights also include a small market, kids’ activities, or other community events. (No movie August 14th)
The Craft Cottage is our creative studio, where we host workshops, open studio time, blacklight paint parties, family activities, and seasonal events. Camping guests receive 15% off classes and workshops during their stay. You may also catch Michelle making glass beads or working on whatever project has taken over the studio that week.
During normal rainfall, the brook is a nice place to wade and explore, though water levels depend on the season and weather.

Nature provides most of the background noise. You may hear hens announcing a freshly laid egg, Mister the rooster crowing, peepers, frogs, birds, crickets, the brook, or an occasional owl. We also have dark skies and quiet country evenings.
The town beach and Northern Rail Trail are a short walk away. Hiking, lakes, mountain views, Ruggles Mine, and Haunting Whisper Vineyard & Spirits are also nearby.
Please remember that Riddle Hill Homestead is a working rural property. Wildlife, farm animals, uneven ground, tall grass, changing weather, bugs, and country sounds are all part of the experience.

Fall has spectacular foliage and perfect cooler temps to sit around the campfire drinking coffee/hot chocolate, snuggled up in a hoodie or under a blanket! Winter affords a pristine, beautiful, snowy landscape that is straight out of a Robert Frost poem! Winter activities include snowshoeing, winter hiking, and possibly snowmobiling down the local club maintained trail if open. Be advised to come prepared with good tires as we get SERIOUS winters and our remote, mountain location often requires 4wd to get up the TOWN roads to us, much less the farm roads.

Billy’s Beaver Pond site was the perfect quiet stay for a weekend away. The site felt secluded while still having plenty to do within a short driving distance. The campsite itself was clean and flat with plenty of seating around the campfire and picnic table. The beautiful view of the pond paired with the sounds of nature made for an incredibly relaxing weekend. Would strongly recommend this site to anybody looking to unplug for a few nights. Come prepared with water and a camp toilet and you’ll find that the site provides all the comfort you’ll need!

We had a great experience at Hussey Tree Farm. Eben is an engaged host that makes the trip easy. The location was wonderful with lots of things to keep you busy as you explore the property or some of the nearby options Eben suggested. We did a family trip with younger kids and found it to be a perfect blend between car camping and tent camping. We had the convenience options of car camping with the privacy of tent camping.

Eben was an absolutely fantastic host - a one man army maintaining such a huge property and doing a stellar job. He communicated clearly on what we can expect and gave us clear instructions on how to get to the base camp and how we would then get to our campsite.
I would recommend you take the time to chat with him too. It’ll make you appreciate the property, and his efforts, even more. :)

We had a wonderful stay at Waterfalls Escape. We were greeted by Vinny with a warm welcome and lots of local recommendations. The space was full of unique charm and was incredibly comfortable - everything we needed was supplied and more. The view and sound of the waterfall from the deck and windows can't really be matched. I can't say enough about how great our stay was, I only wish it had been longer!

This was a last minute booking for us and it was absolutely magical! We stayed at site 3 The ridge, It was gorgeous, Eben was so welcoming and gave us clear instructions on everything including a map that shows all the perfectly
marked trails along the mountain. Our site has everything you could think of and more than we knew! Fresh water, cooking untensils, a platform
for our tent, chairs etc Wood and such a well maintained property it was amazing! Highly reccomend! The view also is unbelievable!!!!

We had a great time staying on the top of the Ridge at campsite 3! Eben was very accommodating right from the start even though we were running late, he explained the whole layout and what to expect, gave us an easy guide map. The $60 for the ride for your stuff up is worth it!! Also the eggs or fresh chicken you can get from the farm next door is such a plus! The fresh eggs were absolutely delicious! We enjoyed the hike up and down. It was definitely rocky, but we hike a lot, and didn't find it difficult, but it is quite steep. The site at the top is absolutely beautiful! The hammocks are such a great addition. My daughter and I read in them one day, and just listened to the grasshoppers. The campsite is equipped with so many useful items, water jugs, pan, grill tools, ect. Everything to cook over the fire. No bathrooms at the campsite, but CLEANEST porta potty at the base of the camp. Also a shower(looked wonderful though we didnt utilize). My family and I were there celebrating my 40th, so it was such a wonderful surprise to see fireworks off in the distance . The sunsets and sunrises, are amazing. So many shooting stars! There are chairs in a tote under the deck, a little bench near the fire and a picnic table, so plenty of seating. Another surprise was all the amazing rocks. If you like looking at beautiful sparkly mica rocks then you will be in heaven! Its one of the most peaceful places we've been in awhile. We already cant wait to go back!

Weekend Trip to The Salisbury Hideouts
The Hemlock Hideout was truly a unique find. Sierra and Josiah were very communicative and helpful. They seem to have thought of everything you would need for this wonderful experience. There was a lot of water around the area but not many mosquitoes which was great. The treehouse was well built, clean, and cozy. The bed was comfortable and sheets clean. Thank you for a great stay!

Eden's has great set up. The tent platform, tables and sets are handmade and new. The firepit had kindling in it set up. Fire starter is provided and other items that help main the fire. There is a BBQ grill too. The hike to the site is stem, but if you only bring what you need you can manage it.
