Our tent and yurt sites are located on 5 acres of private woods and are 4 acres apart to allow for maximum privacy for our guests!
Parking for both sites are shared. The tent is 50 yards up a rustic wooded path through the woods and the yurt is an 800 yard (10 minute) uphill walk from the parking area.
Both sites are adjacent to our local network of hiking/biking trails that connect to the summit of Mount Agassiz, which offers stunning views of Franconia Notch. Additionally, within a half hour drive, you have access to some of the best hiking in the North East. We are happy to provide recommendations! The surrounding towns are home to three different breweries, numerous restaurants serving up delicious food and quaint main streets.
Through the generous permission of surrounding landowners and the stewardship of the Bethlehem Trails Association, guests can access this trail network to enjoy the views from the summit of Mount Agassiz for top notch single-track mountain biking.
We live one town over and are just a phone call away. If you walk the trails, you may encounter a friendly neighbor's dog but all our guests enjoy the privacy and solitude the mountain provides.

Located in Bethlehem at the top of the White Mountains close to endless hiking and biking. Both downtown Bethlehem and Littleton are within a 15 minute drive, supplying many choices for food and shopping.
Rainy and need more options? Take the beautiful 1 hour drive east on 302 to North Conway and visit the big outlet stores. If the weather is better, and you want a more scenic way there with hiking -- take the 25 minute drive down to Lincoln and travel the amazing Kancamangus Scenic Byway (Route 112). This is 35 miles through the White Mountains with no gas stations, so you might want to top off while in Lincoln.
Thirty minutes east is the Mount Washington Cog Railway, and you will pass the historic Mount Washington Hotel on the way. Fifteen minutes south and you can be at Franconia Notch State Park.

My 8-acre property used to be a farm field. The farm is long gone and I've been reclaiming the open meadow for a few years now. I usually only mow once a year in order to leave flowers and grasses for the birds and insects, including the honey bees and monarch butterflies who love the milkweed, goldenrod, asters and other wild flowers that grow here. I keep just a few narrow paths and the campsite mowed, You will be sharing your site with the wildlife that lives here. Bears are not infrequent visitors and food should be carefully kept out of your tent and preferably locked in your vehicle with the windows up.
I have a small house on the property, not too far away, and keep to myself as a rule. I am available if you have a problem or need help with something, but you are on your own otherwise! Because my house is beyond your parking area, I do drive by going about my own business, but once the plants grow up, I can't see your campsite from my house, though I can see the parking area and if your vehicle is here or not.

Pitch a tent or two on the flat grassy edge of my meadow and enjoy the proximity to town and all the outdoor sports the White Mountains offer. There is afternoon shade over the site. This is a primitive site - no electricity, no running water, no security lights, and no covered pad. There is a picnic table, a fire pit suitable for cooking over, and a clean wooden outhouse. It's very private and although my house is nearby, I'm happy to just leave you alone.
I sell bundles of firewood, but you can bring your own, if you want. Please just don't bring any wood in from outside this immediate area - I don't want any new non-native insects being brought in.

Sacred Nectar rests on the land of the Wabanaki Tribes. This land, now known by it's view gifting fields, is one of Sandwich's top treasured gems. The Historic Farm was purchased by Townsend Thorndike from the first colonizing family to claim ownership of this unceded land, the McCrillis family. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an Intentional lifestyle. One in which we hope to share our way of being that brings awareness to the natural world we have fallen so far from. Nick and his tribe of like minds are creating a holistic, educational, retreat, workshop, and event center where people can come to learn how to co-exist in a harmonious relationship with nature and each other. Okay, where to even start? By far the COOLEST place I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying. The escape room aspect kept us entertained for hours even though we couldn’t figure out the last clue it was a blast, This place is magical in every way. Great little place. The wood and porter potty were a great addition you don’t find at many camping’s spots. Clear directions, owner sent a video. It was private but beware if you have a dog who’s not a fan of other people or dogs, you do see and hear other camper’s. Light a fire as soon as you arrive to clear the mosquitos. Peaceful location, close to tons of stuff. Overall a great stay for us and our 2 pups.

Sacred Nectar is so welcoming and beautifully stewarded, with gorgeous open spaces and mountain views as well as wooded trails and ponds - canoeing on the pond at sunset (thank you to the resident beavers) was a highlight. Our pitch felt private and secluded and was really well laid out - there were just 2 of us but it could accommodate a much bigger group and we’d love to return with family and friends.

Where to go
Loon Mountain
Just north of town, Loon Mountain is an all-season recreation area that is particularly popular in winter. The mountain has 61 ski trails, with eight tree-skiing areas, six terrain parks, a superpipe, and a halfpipe. Off the slopes, there’s also snowshoeing and cross-country trails, skating, tubing, and a winter zipline.
Flume Gorge
Around five miles north of town, in Franconia Notch State Park, a boardwalk leads visitors through Flume Gorge, a natural chasm that extends 800 feet at the base of Mount Liberty. The path is an easy loop hike and takes you past several waterfalls and natural cave-like rocks. If you want to set up camp nearby, Franconia Notch has two sites to choose from.
Woodstock
The charming town of Woodstock sits just south of Lincoln and has a good selection of places to eat and drink. Outdoor adventurers will find easy access to hikes up Mount Lafayette, Cannon Mountain, and Bald Mountain.
When to go
While spring and summer are ideal for enjoying the trails and river activities on offer, fall and winter have their own appeal. Fall sees the landscape busting into rich colors and brings the annual New Hampshire Highland Games, which are held annually in September. Winter offers an abundance of snowy activities, from skiing on Loon Mountain to snowshoeing through the White Mountain National Forest.
