Your group will have plenty of space to relax, gather around the fire, and enjoy the outdoors. -- YOUR CAMPSITE: The campsite is located at the bottom of our driveway, on the left side near the main road. Your site includes a fire ring, picnic table, grill, and two tent platforms tucked into the wooded area. The land is naturally sloped, so we’ve provided two platforms to give you a more comfortable, semi-level surface for your tents: Platform 1: 7' 5.5" × 7' 10" -- Platform 2: 7' 9.5" × 7' 9.5" Please do not move the platforms. They have been carefully positioned to provide the most level tent surface possible. A newly built lean-to sits toward the back of the parking area, giving you a dry, level place to store camping supplies, relax during a passing shower, or even set up an additional tent. For your convenience, the campsite also has a seasonal potable water spigot with a hose for filling water containers, washing up, and other campsite needs. The water gets shut off once temperatures drop below freezing. A porta-potty is located on the left side of the parking area for you to use during your stay. A phone charging station is also available, so you can keep your devices powered up while enjoying the great outdoors. A propane grill and propane are provided for your convenience. Campers are responsible for bringing their own cooking utensils and cleaning the grill after each use. You’ll also have access to hammocks during your stay—perfect for kicking back with a book or enjoying the sounds of the woods. -- A LITTLE ABOUT THE SITE: A small stream runs through the campsite, adding to the peaceful woodland setting. Depending on the weather, the stream may slow down or dry up during the summer months. Because the campsite is located near the main road, some road noise can be heard during the day, and the road can become busier during the summer. Traffic generally quiets down at night. -- EXPLORE THE WHITE MOUNTAINS 🏔️ You’ll be just a short drive from some of the area’s favorite attractions, including Squam Lake, Polar Caves Park, Owl’s Nest Resort, Loon Mountain, the Pemigewasset River, and Waterville Valley, just to name a few. Spend your days exploring the mountains, swimming in nearby lakes and rivers, hiking local trails, or simply relaxing at camp around the fire. Come enjoy the fresh mountain air, beautiful surroundings, and everything the White Mountains have to offer. And keep your eyes peeled—you just might see a moose! 🫎

I was in the lower site. This is good for an over night stay. There are two tent platform sites and a fire pit. You will hear road noise, but not bad during the evening hours. There is no outhouse at this camp set up.

We enjoyed staying at Moose Mountain. The campsite included a bench, fire pit, a covered area, two flat areas for tents and plenty of trees for hammocks. While no bathrooms on site, there were various stores and gas stations only a few minutes drive away.

I loved camping here! The leaves were gorgeous in the morning. There was some road noise but it was nothing too crazy and I would still highly recommend this spot! The tree coverage and built in coverage was so nice to sit under especially since it was raining. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a place to land with service and close to town!

Great site for me and a few friends. Hospitable and easy going owners with a well worded description of rules and directions. Van camped comfy and level and was intrigued with the well build tent platform. Will go again and will recommend to friends

This campsite was so great!! We were the only people on the property, and couldn’t believe our luck that we found this site for Memorial Day weekend! There was a bin for hammocks to borrow, a nice fire pit, and solar powered lights along the dirt path and the wooden bridge. The tent sites were platforms, which we were extremely grateful for since it rained while we were there. There was even firewood pit-side! Super close to some great southern white mountain hikes and, importantly, a Dunkin Donuts for the morning. Would definitely recommend staying here

Getaway in not so middle of nowhere

This site is up there in my favorites. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming upon our arrival. Site: 10/10. Although you are at the end of a driveway it totally doesn't feel like it! Very private and secluded and you can fall asleep to the sound of the stream running over the rocks. You have two platforms to choose from to pitch your tent on and access to hammocks. Location = 10/10. Nice and quiet yet near many trails, breweries, and wineries within 10-30 minutes drive. Thank you Tristan for creating this cute little getaway. Definitely check it out if you're in the area!

Waste of Money - went to campground

I hate to leave a bad review, I rarely do but I have to for this site. I will preface by saying we decided to pack up our things in the rain and move along to the Campton campground 5mins down the road ! We were very frustrated to find that there is not any level piece of dirt on this site. Not only is it all slopped hillside but it also has ankle twisting divots all over the place. We set up our screen house and decided to make do but then we went to set up our (on the small side) 3p backpacking tent and found that we were not able to even fit it on either of the platforms. Being that there are no other pitching options we were forced to move on. The primary parking spot was also fairly rough for a low clearance vehicle, dependent on your van/trailer set up, getting a level spot might be difficult. Site needs dirt work and it could be a viable option but at this point I can not recommend.

What a mind-blowing campsite experience! From the get-go, the owner treated us like old pals, making us feel right at home. Their local recommendations were on point, leading us to some seriously fun adventures. But let me tell you, the best part was floating down the river on tubes with my friends – an absolute blast! The campsite's setup was fantastic, providing way more privacy than your typical campground. Those platforms for our tents were pure genius – we all had our own cozy spaces to retreat to after our daily escapades. And when the rain surprised us, the owner had our backs. They brought us an extra easy up tent, saving the day and making the rainy hours just as enjoyable as the sunny ones. Having our own fire ring meant unforgettable nights filled with laughter and s'mores. But what made this campsite stand out even more was the owner's thoughtfulness and care. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time ever. If you're looking for a place to bond with friends, have thrilling adventures, and make memories that last a lifetime, this campsite is an absolute must! Highly, highly recommended for the ultimate outdoor getaway with friends. Can't wait to go back for more good times!

Had a nice night at Moose Mountain. The location is super convenient as it is only five minutes away from the highway. Tristan was friendly and easy to communicate with. The site is near the road but it was quiet at night. The site is sloped but Tristan has two medium sized tent platforms which we appreciated. We didn’t use the hammocks but it was nice to have the option. Would stay again

Cozy campsite, convenient location

Cozy camping spot with a fire pit and a small stream that’s trickling in the background. they have firewood available for use, and the spot is easily accessed off the main road, and close to all town’s amenities. At night, you can see the stars great. Both our dogs and cats had a great time, and will definitely book here again!
