My land is easily accessible by main road, has ample parking, and yet cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, wildlife, fireflies and peepers are just outside the door. In the summer season, several organic farmstands and local picturesque swimming holes range between 5-15 minutes away. Autumn's glorious show is on display everywhere you look. Winter offers easy access to groomed VAST trails in the field behind the house and studio. Hopkins Center, AVA Gallery, the Lebanon Opera House, Northern Stage, and a wide array of restaurants are within 20 minutes. The Lyme bridge is now open, so there are more restaurants, trails, activities and the Dartmouth Skiway! Despite the proximity to town and even to my home, the simple studio space is serene in its sumac baby forest. The space is one of a kind, with a giant salvaged chapel window, cathedral ceilings, a candelabra, a clawfoot tub, a quirky outhouse, on-demand hot water, electricity and wifi. The site lists that it sleeps 4? But three is more realistic, and I cannot seem to change it. Our land includes a beautiful mix of pine, hemlock, and hardwood forest, along with two streams and hundreds of large glacial erratic boulders. We had a great time camping here! Very clean site with electric hook up (huge help!) and firewood provided. Near a lot of great hiking spots to enjoy! Overall, would definitely come back! If you're looking for a little more privacy, they have a campsite further up the road that has nice brook access, the one we were at shared a large space with another site - which isn't bad! We lucked out and had the space to ourselves but this site would be great for two families camping together!

Weekend Trip to White Mountain Disc Golf Camping

Great location for camping near the white mountains! Site was clean and well stocked, close to the river and highway for easy access, and Rene was super quick to answer any questions. I'd definitely stay here again!

2 nights at Camp Ebb and Flow

GORGEOUS campsite right by the brook. Loved hearing the water. Bathhouse was super swanky and clean with hot water, and Jeff and Jill were amazing hosts and wonderful people, with great suggestions for what to do and eat in the area. Would come back.

3 nights at Streeter Mountain Farm

Very calm and peaceful. Lovely view of the mountains during sunrise from the balcony, Josh is extremely hospitable and accommodating I was traveling alone and he made sure I felt safe and comfortable there the entire trip. A wonderful place for family couples are even just a solo trip to get out of your hometown. The farm cat were so cute and so friendly. As well as the farm dog. Many pollinating flowers with buzzing bees, nearby bugs, and birds will ease you to rest at night.

A beautiful setting with immaculately landscaped grounds, firewood, electricity, potty - all babbling brook side. There is another site within shouting distance that shares the potty, but we had the place to ourselves. Highly recommend.

1 night at Stonewall Meadows Farm

David met us when we arrived, and brought some split firewood, and water for my dog. You will be all alone here. Except for an occasional small airplane, there is almost no human noise. . There is no road noise, or other people, it is peaceful and isolated. Skyland Trail passes right by the field, for some nice day hikes. I had a very clear night and the best view of the milkyway I can remember, and many shooting stars while I sat by the fire.

Beautiful campsite, very well thought out! The cooking table was a wonderful asset, as were the Adirondack chairs overlooking the lake. We also really enjoyed the boat house across the lake from the campsite.

Weekend Trip to Moose Mountain Getaway

We enjoyed staying at Moose Mountain. The campsite included a bench, fire pit, a covered area, two flat areas for tents and plenty of trees for hammocks. While no bathrooms on site, there were various stores and gas stations only a few minutes drive away.

Weekend Trip to Crescent Moon Cabin

My sons & I just spent another amazing weekend at Crescent Moon Cabin! This is our second summer in a row and it’s becoming a tradition. Sheryl and Phil are wonderful hosts and give you just the right level of attentiveness to make your stay comfortable & private at the same time! The cabin was spotless, cozy, and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. It has that perfect rustic feel while still being comfortable and the upstairs sleeping area is especially charming. One of the highlights is always beautiful Halfmoon Pond. We spent hours swimming in the warm crystal-clear water, kayaking, fishing, sunning on the dock, and just enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It is the perfect place to unwind and disconnect from the busyness of everyday life. We cooked our meals on the gas grill and enjoyed eating on the screened-in porch. And we took advantage of the fire pit each night, making s’mores and just relaxing by the fire. If you’re looking for a quiet, secluded cabin on a beautiful pond, this is the place. We left feeling refreshed and are already talking about coming back for a third year in a row. Highly recommend! P.S. My oldest couldn’t make it this year, but I included a picture from last year of the three boys on the dock.
