My land is easily accessible by main road, has ample parking, and yet cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, wildlife, fireflies and peepers are just outside the door. In the summer season, several organic farmstands and local picturesque swimming holes range between 5-15 minutes away. Autumn's glorious show is on display everywhere you look. Winter offers easy access to groomed VAST trails in the field behind the house and studio. Hopkins Center, AVA Gallery, the Lebanon Opera House, Northern Stage, and a wide array of restaurants are within 20 minutes. The Lyme bridge is now open, so there are more restaurants, trails, activities and the Dartmouth Skiway! Despite the proximity to town and even to my home, the simple studio space is serene in its sumac baby forest. The space is one of a kind, with a giant salvaged chapel window, cathedral ceilings, a candelabra, a clawfoot tub, a quirky outhouse, on-demand hot water, electricity and wifi. The site lists that it sleeps 4? But three is more realistic, and I cannot seem to change it. We are on a main road that follows the Connecticutt River ~bring your road bike as cyclist adore it! Enjoyable stay
The Studio at Halfpipe Farm
It was a good blend of having convenience, glamping, beauty, and quaintness. While the upstairs bed is comfortable, it does sit on the loft wood itself. One word of caution and to be prepared, the ladder that goes up to the loft is narrow and quite steep. There's also a bed on the main level, which I actually found more convenient for those of us who have to pee in the middle of the night. 😊 Overall it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would recommend it for anyone that wants a down to earth glamping experience.

The Studio at Halfpipe Farm
My husband and I had a cozy and relaxing weekend at Halfpipe Farm! The cabin was awesome, we loved the big arched window, loft and how it was built with love out of cool repurposed materials. Its quiet and secluded but also close to town. Sarah was super nice and responsive in our messages. Space was clean, has everything you need and even a hot shower! As a bonus she has a super cute and friendly cat that comes to greet you when you arrive. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend!!

Cat urine smell/poor host
The Studio at Halfpipe Farm
I have stayed in over 50 plus cabins/home rentals in the last 20 years and this was the only one I have been unable to stay in due to unsanitary conditions. My boyfriend and I got to the place at dark after a long day of travel and immediately noticed a strong cat urine odor. Im also allergic to cats, and within minutes my throat started itching. I reached out to the host, who told me the smell was due to fertilizer in the field. I suggested perhaps wildlife had gotten into the cabin, but she dismissed this and said she was at cabin the day before and there was no odor. If I could have stayed there I would have but urine smell was so bad, I had to leave and find a hotel with availability 30 minutes away. I immediately messaged host asking for refund which she denied, refusing to acknowledge any problem with the cabin. While I understand unfortunate situations may come up, the hosts unwillingness to work to remedy the situation is disappointing and I would not recommend staying here.

This was the most beautiful cabin , the roof doors and the candelabra made it feel like a fairy house. All the amenities were so great too! Our host Sara was incredibly kind with lots of good recommendations. We can’t wait to go back.!

Homey & Happy Stay
The Studio at Halfpipe Farm
Like stepping into the coziest little cottage dream! We instantly felt at home, and the shower was so fun it almost felt like an activity on its own. Everything we needed was right there, making it the perfect “glamping‑but‑better” pause from our camping trip. We woke up to sun pouring in the beautiful windows, & left rested and happy!

A North Woods Farm Getaway
The Studio at Halfpipe Farm
Half Pipe Farm blew my partners and I , expectations out of the water. The cabin had everything we could ask for. We used of the stove cooking a local meal of brats and sides . The shower was really warm and was great after a long day. The rocking chairs provided a great area to enjoy coffee and adult beverage. This place was a true gem and I can't wait to return.

The Studio at Halfpipe Farm
The Studio at Halfpipe Farm was the perfect spot for a last minute trip for my fiancé and I. After our camper van broke down and we could no longer stay at our original Hipcamp spot, we found this option to be much more comfortable then tenting it for a few nights in the rain. It was romantic, peaceful, and quiet, and our host provided everything we needed and more. It also felt very private and safe.

Great spot with exactly what we were looking for! This was listed as in orange VT and was not so added some time to our travel which was unexpected. Sarah was helpful and responded very quickly!

Perfect spot for the weekend! Sarah had everything we needed and more. Fall foliage was breathtaking. Definitely check out Cedar Circle Farm in the morning.

The Studio at Halfpipe Farm
We loved our romantic getaway in Vermont and particularly at Halfpipe Farm. The studio is a great little space, very comfortable, has all the essentials for basic cooking, and it was really nice to see the attention to detail! Also, the water pressure and warmth of the shower-head was unexpectedly great! Turtle the cat is a super friendly creature and will definitely give you love.

We had a great time at halfpipe farm! The accommodation is spacious and had everything we needed to cook dinner both nights. Sarah oriented us towards some local swimming holes and live music happening nearby. Definitely check out Cedar Circle and Crossroads farmstands. Also there’s a cute cat named Turtle.

The site is peaceful and beautiful. We loved the style of the cabin and we were comfortable. We appreciated the shower and the very well furnished kitchen! Very attentionate details, clean and inspiring space. Our daughter enjoyed the swing.

The Studio at Halfpipe Farm
Sarah's cabin is a little gem. We were happy to spend there 2 days with our kids. We felt like in a hut but with a lot of confort. Even if it's located right behind Sarah's place we had our own privacy. We also enjoyed a lot the region and the swimming tips that she wrote for her guests. Communication was great and Sarah was very accommodating. Thank you for hosting us

Peace and tranquility
The Studio at Halfpipe Farm
I truly enjoyed my stay at Sarah's place. The cabin/home looked exactly like the pictures. It was peaceful and tranquil. Safe for solo travelers. Sarah was such a delight! Very friendly and welcoming very artistic as well. You can her artistic eye throughout the cabin. You will truly enjoy your stay.

A gem of a Hipcamp. If you’re down with the artsy, quirky vibe then this is the place for you. It’s not a sterile, hotel-like experience. Highlights 🌸 Tucked away behind a wonderful smelling lilac tree 🍄 Found morels on a nearby trail 👙 15 minutes away from an idyllic swimming hole that the host, Sarah, recommended 🎨 Artsy vibe with all of the amenities you need and more Amenities Stove, refrigerator, outlets, sink with running water, cooking equipment, tea kettle, clawfoot tub with shower curtain, cool looking outhouse, desk, hammock, candelabra of course, etc. Wifi was strong for most of the time but my connection wasn’t great when I arrived. Luckily there are plenty of places with free wifi nearby. I had to do some work and posted up at the King Arthur Baking Co cafe, which kind of felt like L.L. Bean but for baking.

The Studio at Halfpipe Farm
The Halfpipe studio was the perfect getaway - even during a snowstorm! The cabin is equipped with everything you need in any type of weather. I loved all the DIY elements to the cabin that show someone put time and thought into making the place quaint and welcoming. The proximity to other popular spots, like Woodstock, VT, was also a plus. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a getaway or a basecamp while they explore the area. Thanks again, Sarah, for such a hospitable stay.

The Studio at Halfpipe Farm
What an absolutely adorable studio with everything you need for a peaceful retreat. Definitely stay here. It’s in a beautiful setting, and even the outhouse is cute! Everything was clean and comfortable and I was so glad I found this hidden gem.
