The lodging at the site was compact but nicely set up for two and a dog to fit. The listing was minimal in the description of what would be there so we had to message the host a bit to figure out what we did and did not need to bring. They had a dual burner propane cooktop, a small cast iron skillet, coffee grounds, water, powdered creamer, salt, pepper, oil, cups, plates, solverware, french press, and kettle. They had a rug and sufficient bedding, although the unit isnt heated so in colder weather additional blankets will help you stay warm. No electricity. Water is in the bathroom which is a 4ish minute walk away. The bathrooms are a nice construction, although also quite cold since the flooring is open. And the toilets wobble around a bit and aren't super well secured. Nicer amenities than many campsites.
My large gripe with my stay was that they left a lot of construction debris from building the unit last fall. Lots of offcuts of lumber, which the owner suggested we could burn and wasn't pressure treated. I still prefer not to burn construction lumber as that's not what it's intended for. Worse than that was the large amounts of plastic and paper trash that was scattered everywhere. They didn't take the time to clean up the outdoor space which was a shame because otherwise it is a nice location. I want to go out and enjoy nature and seeing trash everywhere is not an enjoyable experience for me.
It's also close to a highway and you can hear traffic constantly.
