Very spacious private campsite with lots of trails along ponds and creeks. Loved seeing animals like chickens and the biggest pig I’ve ever seen! I imagine it’ll only get more beautiful into the fall because it is surrounded by large beautiful trees. Would definitely stay here again!
Cassidie (and her Mom) were amazing hosts! Their farm was the perfect place to find some solitude and the fresh water spring was an awesome bonus feature! Would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to disconnect for a few days!
Had a great time! Site was clean and well maintained. There is so much to do on the property we didn’t have to leave. Cassidie’s mom was hosting us, she was so kind helpful and went above any beyond to make sure we had a nice time!

Cassidie & her mom were lovely and accommodating, and their land was beautiful. The site was private and secluded, and very peaceful.
Unfortunately the weather was not good while we were there so we couldn’t take advantage of the river or attached hiking trails.
There is a washhouse close to both sites, with many great touches like dry firewood, a sink, bug spray, lawn games, cups/plates etc. The composting toilet out-house was very private, and extremely clean - I found it much better than a port-o-potty!
The wooden platform was great to keep our tent on, however there are no spots to stake down a tent, but we didn’t find that to be a big deal.
Overall I would love to stay here again in better weather!
We loved our stay here! The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and quick to respond whenever we had a question. They even shared fresh vegetables from their garden with us, which were delicious!
The river was definitely one of the highlights! The water was so fresh and clean. We brought our paddleboard down and paddled/walked about 4 km upstream to some little baby rapids, then hopped on the board and let the current float us all the way back. Such a fun way to spend the afternoon!
The evening after our hike, we brought our tubes down to the river and just floated around, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. During our trips to the river, we saw so much wildlife, including lots of birds (bald eagles) and we were even lucky enough to spot a deer standing in the river!
The campsite itself was private and peaceful, with water available to refill our trailer tank. The owner had firewood available for us, which was super convenient, and there were also lawn games to choose from.
We also really appreciated how easygoing and accommodating our host was. We were out hiking when we realized we had accidentally forgotten to book the site for that day/night. We messaged her, and she responded right away saying not to worry—the site was still available and we could simply book it. No stress at all!

We loved camping at Cassidie’s land. The campsite was neat with enough privacy to wind out after busy week. We had a a nice wooden deck to put our tent on, convenient access to the trails pond, Merrimack river and endless sky to do stargazing. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone who’s looking for a stay in the area.

More magical than Disneyland.. the spot was perfect tucked back in the woods just enough so you get a perfect view of the night with no sun on your face in the morning.. a nice little walk down to the river and a loop path with picturesque views around every corner.. the farm fresh eggs in the morning were a great little treat also.. just the right bit of small amenities supplied like tp, firewood, and instant coffee.. private but still close to anything you need 15 min down the road… maybe the best little spot I’ve been to
Communication was spot on. We gave an ETA and were greeted in the driveway, guided to the site, and given a short tour. What a place! Lush. Interesting. Open and yet plenty of privacy and shade. So much to explore. Or just sit comfortably and read a book. So many birds! Easy to park our 13 foot camper. Fresh water, lawn games and firewood available. Defiantly would visit again.
Such a great place to camp! Very private and well maintained. It's a great place to go and get away from all the noise of the city. Cassidie was so kind and even gave us a few veggies and herbs from her garden. Definitely would recommend!

My sister and I had a wonderful time camping at Cassidie’s property. The site was private, well maintained, and had many amenities. We loved using the hammocks, meeting the animals on the property, and fire pit. We would definitely come back!

It was my first time “hip-camping” and this was the perfect spot to start my future hip camping. My boyfriend and I wanted to get away for Labor Day last minute and we booked this site. It had the platform for our tent and a few other necessities that helped us out. The owner checked in with us to see if we needed anything which was great. It was quiet and private.

We were tent camping at Camp F, and we had such a fun experience. We plan to go back. Its very private, you can swim and fish in the Merrimack, and they had towels out for us! There's a cool little dish wash station in the game and supply cabin. They were super welcoming and laid back, and they even have a pig and mini horses. It's really pretty!
What a great campsite! Spent the weekend fishing and mountain biking. Will definitely return for another stay soon as there were so many positives for this location. 1) the proximity to the river and Highland MTN 2) the tent platform 3) the quiet wilderness.

The site was beautiful, well maintained, quiet, and peaceful. Hospitable hosts and overall a great experience! I absolutely want to return ☺️
First time using Hipcamp and it was a good one, we had a great time at Camp Frogginton! The setting was so relaxing and idyllic. Cassidie thought of everything from toiletries for the camp latrine to a “bath house” stocked w grilling essentials (firewood/plates/silverware/tongs/tea bags/maple syrup etc.) and even lawn games and towels. We got there late, 9pm, and the path was well lit, site easy to find & to get set up. She added a tarp for shade to the platform which was great. If you go, I hope you’re lucky enough to chat w Boo, the matriarch, who shared some stories, squashes, and introduced us to the horses and dogs. Great experience, would stay here again and recommend!

It was a very peaceful and quiet stay. The only negative were the ticks 😖 But that’s no fault of Cassidie, who was such a nice young lady! All the family members were very sweet and welcoming ♥️

Camp Frogginton Private Campsite
This campsite is beautiful! It’s a very private and surrounded by really nice Meadows. The tent platform and sunshade were really helpful, the firewood, ice, grilling tools, games in the sweet dishwashing hut all made for an extra special experience. It was a short walk to the river access, which was a wonderful temperature and a great addition to the camping trip. A couple of things just to be aware of. The outhouse is really a composting toilet in the woods out in the open. Some members of our family loved it. Others did not. There are a lot of ticks on the property as well. Not unexpected for the time of year and the type of property, but something to be aware of. We would definitely stay here again!
This campground was beautiful - wide open space with some shade and access to a water hookup. The water is from a local spring - and it tasted great! The campsite has a cute little area to sit with a handmade "stump" table, umbrella, chairs, and a nice firepit.
The view of the fields surrounded by trees and a cute barn was picturesque. The hosts are very friendly and respond quickly to questions. They have a nice looking farm with, chickens, mini-horses, a pig, and a farm dog. Lots of places to hike just a short drive away.
Just around the corner from the entrance to their property, there is literally a pipe coming out of the rock on the roadside, with water free-flowing out of it. There is a spot or two to pull over, and there was usually someone there with empty containers to fill up with ice cold Spring Water! We were going hiking one day and decided to stop there to fill up our Camelbaks. The water really was good... no sulfery taste to it. Very refreshing!
We'd definitely visit again if we're in the area.
We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming! We had originally booked an RV site with power, but when we arrived, they let us know there was a power outage. They were so accommodating and quickly found us another spot on the property where we could hook up. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and spacious.
One heads-up: definitely pack plenty of bug spray and tick repellent. The bugs were active, and our pups needed lots of tick checks! That said, we’d absolutely come back. Great experience overall!

So serene and beautiful!! A perfectly hidden gem!!
We are so grateful they accommodated our last-minute overnight stay, and so glad we ended up at the charming Camp Frogginton! A dream of a property with a short drive to the back where it opened up and gave plenty of space to spread out. There was an incredibly cute little hut with running water and some basic accessories to make our stay extra enjoyable. Power and water for our RV made for a cozy night. They left firewood and starter by the pit, and the stars were incredible. In the morning, we stopped off to see the pig on the way out, and the kids threw carrots in for him. Would definitely highly recommend Camp Frogginton! Aloha

Peaceful and well setup location. Great hiking trails, dark skies at night, and a nice firepit. We had a great weekend and would definitely return in the future. Note - the power connection is either 20amp (think household plug) or a 50 amp outlet - so make sure to bring adapters if needed.
