It was my first time “hip-camping” and this was the perfect spot to start my future hip camping. My boyfriend and I wanted to get away for Labor Day last minute and we booked this site. It had the platform for our tent and a few other necessities that helped us out. The owner checked in with us to see if we needed anything which was great. It was quiet and private.

We were tent camping at Camp F, and we had such a fun experience. We plan to go back. Its very private, you can swim and fish in the Merrimack, and they had towels out for us! There's a cool little dish wash station in the game and supply cabin. They were super welcoming and laid back, and they even have a pig and mini horses. It's really pretty!

What a great campsite! Spent the weekend fishing and mountain biking. Will definitely return for another stay soon as there were so many positives for this location. 1) the proximity to the river and Highland MTN 2) the tent platform 3) the quiet wilderness.

First time using Hipcamp and it was a good one, we had a great time at Camp Frogginton! The setting was so relaxing and idyllic. Cassidie thought of everything from toiletries for the camp latrine to a “bath house” stocked w grilling essentials (firewood/plates/silverware/tongs/tea bags/maple syrup etc.) and even lawn games and towels. We got there late, 9pm, and the path was well lit, site easy to find & to get set up. She added a tarp for shade to the platform which was great. If you go, I hope you’re lucky enough to chat w Boo, the matriarch, who shared some stories, squashes, and introduced us to the horses and dogs. Great experience, would stay here again and recommend!

Camp Frogginton Private Campsite
This campsite is beautiful! It’s a very private and surrounded by really nice Meadows. The tent platform and sunshade were really helpful, the firewood, ice, grilling tools, games in the sweet dishwashing hut all made for an extra special experience. It was a short walk to the river access, which was a wonderful temperature and a great addition to the camping trip. A couple of things just to be aware of. The outhouse is really a composting toilet in the woods out in the open. Some members of our family loved it. Others did not. There are a lot of ticks on the property as well. Not unexpected for the time of year and the type of property, but something to be aware of. We would definitely stay here again!

This campground was beautiful - wide open space with some shade and access to a water hookup. The water is from a local spring - and it tasted great! The campsite has a cute little area to sit with a handmade "stump" table, umbrella, chairs, and a nice firepit.
The view of the fields surrounded by trees and a cute barn was picturesque. The hosts are very friendly and respond quickly to questions. They have a nice looking farm with, chickens, mini-horses, a pig, and a farm dog. Lots of places to hike just a short drive away.
Just around the corner from the entrance to their property, there is literally a pipe coming out of the rock on the roadside, with water free-flowing out of it. There is a spot or two to pull over, and there was usually someone there with empty containers to fill up with ice cold Spring Water! We were going hiking one day and decided to stop there to fill up our Camelbaks. The water really was good... no sulfery taste to it. Very refreshing!
We'd definitely visit again if we're in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming! We had originally booked an RV site with power, but when we arrived, they let us know there was a power outage. They were so accommodating and quickly found us another spot on the property where we could hook up. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and spacious.
One heads-up: definitely pack plenty of bug spray and tick repellent. The bugs were active, and our pups needed lots of tick checks! That said, we’d absolutely come back. Great experience overall!

We are so grateful they accommodated our last-minute overnight stay, and so glad we ended up at the charming Camp Frogginton! A dream of a property with a short drive to the back where it opened up and gave plenty of space to spread out. There was an incredibly cute little hut with running water and some basic accessories to make our stay extra enjoyable. Power and water for our RV made for a cozy night. They left firewood and starter by the pit, and the stars were incredible. In the morning, we stopped off to see the pig on the way out, and the kids threw carrots in for him. Would definitely highly recommend Camp Frogginton! Aloha

Peaceful and well setup location. Great hiking trails, dark skies at night, and a nice firepit. We had a great weekend and would definitely return in the future. Note - the power connection is either 20amp (think household plug) or a 50 amp outlet - so make sure to bring adapters if needed.

This is exactly what you would hope for in a campsite! Easy to access, private, beautiful, thoughtfully appointed, and access to picturesque trails to a river. They had a small shed next to the RV site with snacks, games, and a big stack of firewood. So thoughtful! Our kids loved feeding the big pig

If you’re looking for peace and quiet you’ve come to the right place. Picturesque family farm adjacent to a wide river deep enough to swim in. Hiking trails throughout the property. Owners were super friendly and knowledgeable with issues that I had with my trailer. I was able to get back on the road to home safely. Big thanks for the break from my hectic schedule! Will return next spring.

We had such a great time, we extended our stay because 2 nights wasn’t enough!
The entire set up is very thoughtful, from useful cooking tools & snacks to fresh flowers in the tent. The highlight of our trip was swimming in the river and visiting Dutchess (the pig 🐽) and sharing our fruit! Oh and I can’t forget the stargazing! Truly incredible! 🔭✨
The property is beautiful and Cassidie was communicative and helpful at every turn. Hoping to visit again! 🌿🏕️

Beautiful spot. The farm is beautiful and then the campsite is very private and tucked away. You feel like you have the whole place to yourself.
Very nice little kitchen area.
Everything was just there and clean and very attentive. Flowers, little snacks, ice. I will definitely be back.

Cassidie was an awesome host. She gave us a tour of the camp and went above and beyond with the extra touches of fresh flowers, bag of ice in cooler, local vermont snacks and even set up an extra bed for our son. Very quiet and private site. Open fields and river access with ample room to stretch our legs. We definitely will be back when we are in the area!

We booked this site on a whim for a quick getaway weekend. Cassidie was helpful and communicative before we even arrived. When we arrived at the farm she guided us to the site and showed us around.
The site was well maintained and orderly upon arrival. Our only comment would be that one of the reviews or the description in the listing (can’t remember which) stated that the sleeping arrangements were a “real bed” and it is in fact an air mattress. However, it was electric, so it was just the flip of a switch to reinflate and probably the most comfortable air mattress we’ve ever slept on.
We stayed dry even in pouring rain and the natural bug repellent Cassidie uses in and around the tent definitely worked! We didn’t need to bring anything other than food and clothes, and flashlights, Cassidie thought of everything else!
We had a great time exploring the farm and surround area have already recommended the site to our friends!

My partner and I loved our stay at Camp Froggington! Cassidie greeted us and gave us a tour of the beautiful property. She truly thought of everything we might need! There was ample firewood, lighting in/around the tent, supplies for making coffee, and hygiene products in the outhouse (which is spacious and comfortable!). This place is a gem - we especially enjoyed swimming in the river and feeding apples to the pig!

Cassidie's setup was wonderful! The location was gorgeous and it was fun to walk around and meet the animals on the farm. The hosts were gracious and friendly and we appreciated being able to park the car near the tent. They even provided firewood and ice. The tent was beautifully setup with extra warm blankets, comfortable pillows, and a real bed. We had a fabulous stay this weekend and hope to go back again next year!
