Beaver Creek 🦫
Hiked in the area. It is remote and beautiful in the fall. The camping sites are private and the land is wooded and peaceful. So much better than a traditional campground. Outhouse is a bonus!

Richmond Hills Cabin
Such a beautiful and peaceful piece of property. The foliage was vibrant and the cabin site was nice and private. We also purchased sausage from Frank and they were delicious! Cooked over the fire under a starry night sky. We also saw and heard many creatures on the property. A nice little get away spot close to plenty of beautiful hiking places!

Offsite wilderness 1
A perfect escape from technology and getting back to nature. The campsites are as spacious, remote and spread across a beautiful landscape. Rudimentary camping at its best, you feel like you are one with nature. 4x4 and awd vehicle accessable, with high ground clearance. It was easy to find a level spot for our rooftop tent. The picnic table and firepit was a welcome surprise. Host was responsive , accommodating and friendly.

Great campgrounds and in a great area, we couldn’t find a sign that said it was the campgrounds like the description says but it is right where we went, right across from the dirt road.

Great place to camp! We had some of the smoked French apple sausages too and they were very good. Easy to cook over the fire, just heat 'em up. The hosts are very nice people, we talked for a few minutes the day we arrived. I would definitely book again.

Great stay, definitely recommend
We had a great say at Richmond Hills! Frank was a great host and answered all of our questions quickly. We stayed at the Hilltop site, which was big enough for multiple tents and we were able to drive into it and have our cars right in the site which was sooo nice. The site felt very private and we couldn't hear any other campers, which was awesome and exactly what we wanted! There was not a lot of shade, but it was very close to the outhouse and suited our needs well. There was a nice big fire pit at this site and lots of kindling around, but no grate and no picnic table so keep that in mind if planning to cook! I also definitely recommend bringing water storage because the potable water is not close enough that you'd want to be walking back and forth frequently to fill your water bottle. If I could suggest one thing for this Hipcamp it would be to get a composting toilet or porta potty or similar, that can handle both #1 and #2. The outhouse is nice and provides privacy, but it's a bag-lined bucket toilet, so you need to handle and dispose of the bag between each use, and you cannot go #1 in the toilet (which I totally understand why, but it was a bit impractical in practice!) Overall a great stay and we would stay here again!

What a great secluded place. If you don’t like camping in RV parks and busy campsites (like me), this will float your boat! We stayed at Beaver Creek which was a very nice site. One downside was that we have a rooftop tent and the site is not super level. With the help of leveling blocks we got the job done though. Just keep that in mind. A ground tent probably has an easier time. All campsites are accessible through logging roads. It’s definitely advisable to bring a 4x4. Not sure every car can handle the roads. All in all, we had a great stay and would def. recommend!

Such a beautiful piece of land with so much to explore. My eight year old and I had such a great two night stay. Extremely clean and well taken care of. Off the grid and private. And definitely recommend the breakfast sausage and Baja sausage. Frank was very helpful and responsive.

Franks property is unique for a camp ground. .. not like any state funded campaite you may have visited. The sites are invisible to eachother so you can have some privacy.
Hes friendly and courteous, and his land is well maintained. My girlfriend and i enjoyed our first night there enough that we chose to stay sunday into monday for our long weekend. Thank you Frank and hope to visit your site again next season!

My wife and 2 dogs had a great time staying at the Beaver Creek site! Frank and his family were great laid back hosts with an amazing piece of land. I just wish we had a better cooler to buy all the sausage to take home with us. It was delicious! Highly recommend staying here.

Family Camping Trip

Amazing Stay at Beavercreek
Yet another amazing stay at Crooked Creek Hollow Farm. We stayed at Beavercreek this time and although it was a completely different set up from the Two Rocks site, it was just as nice. Awaiting us at our site was a fire pit, picnic table, firewood and even a short trail to the creek. There was a total of 6 of us and we had more than plenty of space for 2 tents and a truck mounted Rooftop Tent. We look forward to our next stay!
