Wandering Pines is a little slice of magic in the Great North Woods of New Hampshire. Our sites range in size and privacy and offer field or wooded land. The sites are near our Small House on 5 acres but far enough away to feel private. We currently have 2 large campsites, 5 primitive walk in sites, 3 Pick your own sites, 3 park and sleep sites and 2 RV camper sites. If our sites are booked, please message me. We have a ton of space and can accommodate you somewhere! During the warmer months(April-Early December) all the sites have access to water and a primitive outhouse and handwashing/dishwashing station. Firewood can be purchased. Please check our extras for other items for purchase. We have wetlands and overgrown fields so there may be bugs and other animals at any given time. Bug spray is recommended. Although black bears are generally shy and usually avoid humans, they are opportunistic and will search for human food supplies when natural foods are not available. Maintaining a sustainable bear population in New Hampshire depends on minimizing human-bear conflicts. It is illegal to intentionally feed bears in New Hampshire. Intentional feeding can create problems within residential areas and can result in fines. It also may threaten the life of the bear, if it becomes a nuisance animal as a result of this feeding. Please keep your food in your car when you are not at the site and when you are sleeping. The property has views of Mount Martha and the Presidential Mountain Range. There are easy walking trails throughout the property. There is a field to play games; Soccer, wiffle ball, corn hole and yard croquet can be used. Just ask We are within 25 mins of Lancaster, Jefferson, Littleton, and Bethlehem. Small town bars, restaurants, breweries and one of a kind views of mountains, lakes, rivers and wildlife. There is hiking galore and more than enough to do for all ages.

This is our smallest site. It is park and walk in site but is very close to where you park. This site will fit one pop up tent. It tucked in behind our Alder and Pine trees. A great site for those of you who just want to pop up a tent and sleep and be off in the morning. You will have access to the shared outhouse and washhouse and town water.

"Apple Tree Camp" has young apple trees scattered throughout this breathtaking site. A large open space for setting up 1-3 tents. It has a fire ring. There is a shared primitive outhouse and handwashing station. This site has access to water. You will have access to firewood and spring water for purchase. Two Mountains is a large tent site with views of 2 different mountains. (most times of the year)This site is a park and walk site. The walk is very short. You will have a fire ring and can purchase firewood. You will have access to a shared primitive toilet and hand/dish washing station. You have access to town drinking water and can purchase local spring water. This site has absolutely beautiful views of Martha Mountain and the Presidential Mountain Range. There are walking trails and a field to play games in. You are so close to all the major North Country towns; restaurants, bars, breweries, attractions, rivers, lakes, and mountains.

This is our largest site. There is space for 3 tents, it has a large fire ring and parking for 2 cars. You will have access to a shared primitive toilet and hand/dish washing station. You have access to town drinking water and can purchase local spring water. This site has absolutely beautiful views of Martha Mountain and the Presidential Mountain Range. There are walking trails and a field to play games in. You are so close to all the major North Country towns; restaurants, bars, breweries, attractions, rivers, lakes, and mountains.

In the White Pines is a walk in primitive site. The walk in is short. There is a small tent site. Because this site is surrounded by White Pine, there are no fires allowed. You may use a small grill. There is access to water and the outhouse on our property. This site fits small dome tents best.

This was a wonderful campsite! The hosts were so nice and communicative. The property is gorgeous and well kept! we throughly enjoyed the dog that was at the camp the first night! This was a great spot for our first camping trip of the season, not too far off the road. we didn’t see any bears so that was also good haha! Overall a really great time we will be back!

They were so frendly with us, we arrived late from Montréal and they really welcomed us warmly. The little doggy Kaias was also super friendly with our dogs. I really recommand to camp on their spot. Hope to see them again!

I only stayed one night but it was terrific. The spot was perfect and you can tell Julie and Dan put real thought into the details. I booked last minute while hiking in the Whites, and they were incredibly accommodating which I really appreciated. Grateful for the stay and would absolutely come back 😊

Julie and Dan were so sweet! They were very communicative and flexible. We camped in the winter and the property was gorgeous. Julie and Dan gave us a sled to walk our camping supplies to the site. Would stay again!

Great spot! Hosts were very responsive. Their directions made the site easy to find-even in the snow. We were able to get a great dinner and see free fireworks at a nearby ski resort for New Year's. Thanks for hosting us!

I’ve been searching for the “perfect” campsite for years, and finally found it at Wandering Pines. Not only are the hosts very responsive and hospitable, the location and amenities are top bin. Enjoying beautiful views of the Presidential Range while cooking over a fire, with your car and outhouse close by is unbeatable.

We met Dan who was very friendly and helpful. Campsites are close to each other but the trees section them off nicely so that the areas feel private. We really enjoyed our time here and the stars looked amazing thanks to a clear sky.

Julie and Dan are such kind and gracious hosts! We enjoyed chatting with them when we arrived and felt right at home on their beautiful property. Very peaceful, gorgeous views, spotless outhouse and cute little dish washing basin with drinking water. We loved this spot and wish we were staying longer. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed watching the full moon over twin Mountain. Plenty of privacy and wildflowers. This located near plenty of trails about 25 minutes from Crawford notch and other sights.

Julie and Dan were great hosts! They were very helpful and extremely friendly! The tent site was great, not only were the views amazing but the site also had so much privacy, you wouldn’t even know other sites were nearby. It’s obvious that Julie and Dan care about their guests and that they take good care of their land. It was lovely staying there and I would absolutely do it again!

We had a great time camping on Julie and Dan’s land! The campsite was thoughtfully tucked away in the woods and had flat areas for tents as well as a campfire ring. Very friendly owner, quiet site, had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

We actually stayed in the “In the White Pines” spot — it was absolutely perfect! Tucked away in some beautiful pines after a short walk. It feels secluded, but easy to access. Julie’s a great and accommodating host.

Very easy and accessible campsite. This has been my favorite campsite so far. You are so far up north in the woods it’s so nice to hear animal life such as bugs and birds, and look up at the stars in the sky. Somehow even found the occasional car going by as we are close to the road as a very safe location from wildlife if anyone is worried about that. Loved how I could arrive just a bit later to the campsite and be able to explore the neighboring areas! Having this site be so close to the bretton woods/Mt. Washington area is actually insane. Was so nice being in that area during sunset and sunrise. Definitely would recommend!!!!

Apple Tree Camp
Good spot to crash with friends and pups while hiking/running in Crawford Notch! The property is beautiful and well maintained. A stocked outhouse and wash basin was definitely a plus. Only downside was the noise coming from the main road and neighbors barking dogs but that settled down into the evening.
