We loved camping at the Mountain View site! It’s amazing to be able to sit alongside the forest and take in the scenery throughout the day. Because of the dry conditions and gumption, we were able to easily get our non-4wd drive car up to the site. Billy and his daughter checked on us and gave us a bunch of wood that kept us through our two night visit. Highly recommend this site!

We cannot thank Billy enough for letting us stay at his camp site! It was very secluded which allowed our group to disconnect from the outside world! We ran out of kindle at one point, told Billy, and he was there not even 10 min later with a new batch! I would recommend this campsite to anyone and we will 100% be booking this site again :)

10/10 best camping spot. The plot is huuuge and no worries about bothering other people with noise. Billy, the host, is super kind too and helped us a ton throughout the weekend. Only wouldn’t recommend so I can go wherever I want, bahaha. But truly it’s a gem - the nearby stream, lake and views are top tier!

Great site. Very private. Kids loved trekking back and forth from camp to the pond to fish. Plenty of fire wood on hand. Billy was very helpful and assisted us with directions and other popular fishing spots.

Site 2 Beaver Pond
Site 2 was awesome, I would totally recommend it for anyone looking for a secluded camping getaway that is also within 15 minutes of a grocery store. The site was well stocked with firewood and kindling. Billy was very responsive and kind. He made our group feel welcome, even checking in on us following a storm. I will most definitely be returning to site 2 soon. Thanks Billy!

Site 2 Beaver Pond
Spent a night at the Beaver Pond site and it was lovely. This site was secluded enough where I couldn't hear any major roadways and instead just the frogs and owls. There's also a river that wraps around the site which makes for pleasant white noise at night. It was very well stocked with dry kindling and split pine logs, and even the benches are made from pine. It is clear that the owner as put a lot of time and care into making this a wonderful place to camp. I am definitely going to come back.

I had such a wonderful experience at Deep Woods Hideaway! The land is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, secluded, and the perfect spot to really connect with nature. I also felt the owner Billy was a special soul. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and made sure I had everything I needed. His dogs were just the sweetest companions. I absolutely loved them! They added such a warm, homey feeling to the whole experience. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a quiet, authentic getaway hosted by genuinely good people (and pups!).

Billy’s land is located right off a NH Class 6 road, so it was super quiet and had a very remote feel. Perfect camping spot for the off-grid enthusiast or Overlander type. Awesome views looking north and tons of space for my 1.5 year old to run around on. Highly recommend this spot, we’ll most certainly be back again.

Had a great time staying at Billy’s site. Our Honda accord was able to make it up the hill to the site without too much trouble. Campsite was spacious and quiet, and we enjoyed the plentiful firewood and great campfire setup. Billy was a great host and very responsive. Would recommend if you are in the area!

We loved camping at Billy’s campsite! The beaver dam view was a beautiful addition to the remote campsite. We brought our two dogs and we had a great time exploring the trails and sitting by the fire pit. Plenty of dry firewood to use which was so awesome. And our car, a Hyundai Tucson, had no issue getting up the hill. We will definitely be back here to camp in the future!

My family and I had an incredible time on Billy’s land. We had everything we needed around us from fishing to swimming and hiking! Lots to do, lots of privacy and clean campsite. Billy was a fantastic host we highly recommend his campsite for those for a spot. Billy was super communicative, even checked in on us on our last day as there was heavy rain the night before. Definitely looking forward to planning our next camping trip here!

What a spot. I spent a few nights here with my girlfriend in a sprinter van and couldn’t have asked for better views and more privacy. The property is located at the top of a ridge with stunning views of the valley below and mountains in the distance. Our host Billy was really kind and accommodating, easy to reach, and did everything he could to ensure we had a nice stay. The two dogs were super friendly and we loved their visits!
The spot itself is up a steep dirt road. If it was even just slightly more steep, my rwd sprinter with all terrain tires would have struggled to get up there but it was absolutely doable. We had a fire pit, were backed up against some deep lush woods, and had open skies which was perfect for pulling in some solar energy. No bathroom and no water, note that this is a primitive spot- perfect for us.
Stay here for the mountain views and privacy! The open skies at night were full of stars. We can’t wait to come back. He was doing some work around the property to improve the land and we’re really excited to see how it is for our next visit. Thanks Billy

I loved tenting at the Beaver Pond campsite! Very secluded from roads and other sites, could hear nothing but nature all night. Only stayed there for one night but had a great time and will be back again. There is also plenty of firewood available to keep the fire going as long as needed.
As stated in the description, 4x4 is recommended for the steep driveway but I had no issues getting up in dry conditions. The trail leading to the site has a few stumps on the side and gets a bit tight between the trees but should be fine for most SUVs and Trucks.

The kids and I had a great time camping (tent) at this site. Plenty of land to explore and creek right down the hill. Billy was extremely accommodating. Messaged me ahead of time and we exchanged several messages during our stay. He even came by to chop up some logs for fire wood. Overall I'm very satisfied with our stay and would recommend!
Couple notes for anyone planning a stay here.
1, I missed the left from rand onto pollyane (I think it was) due to a GPS glitch and went straight and onto the dirt access road (with notice about ski mobiles). If you miss that left turn and aren't up for some sketchy dirt road driving go back. The access road we missed was much better and quicker. I mentioned that I missed that turn to Billy and he helped orient me out for when we departed.
2, there is a lot of sun. The sun sets on the road side towards the mountains, so pick your spots for shade on hot days. The picnic table is in prime time sunshine so if you want to use it on a hot day consider bringing some shade for it.
That's all I got. Now get camping!

The property was large and fairly isolated. Nice area to off road for an ameteur like myself.
It is a primitive campsite, so bring your “tools” and “toys”.

Billy’s land was exactly what we wanted. Remote, a view and privacy. Bonus was a stream near by that the dogs loved cooling off after a long morning wrestling match. Tested out our new truck camper and it couldn’t have gone better. He was very responsive with questions we had throughout the stay.

Billy is the man!! This spot was exactly what we had hoped for. Its not too remote, just secluded enough. Had great views from the top of the hill. Super close to Highland mountain bike park. Tons of land and a cool creek. We didn’t get a chance to explore too much but were thrilled with the two days we stayed there. We 100% will be making this a regular site. I have a Dodge 2500 with a rooftop tent, fit perfectly no problem.

Spent the weekend at Billy's site with 5 friends. Our site was everything that we were looking for. Amazing views, very private, right down the road from Highland Mountain Bike Park.
