Sacred Nectar rests on the land of the Wabanaki Tribes. This land, now known by it's view gifting fields, is one of Sandwich's top treasured gems. The Historic Farm was purchased by Townsend Thorndike from the first colonizing family to claim ownership of this unceded land, the McCrillis family. It was Town's place to get away from the busy life. As time went on and his money dwindled and plans to sell off some of the land arose.
Townsend's son, Nick, foresaw a devastating development of conventional homes that would diminish the soul of this sacred land that held so much magic. So, Nick decided to move back to the homestead to create an example of what a healthy life for the land and its inhabitants looks like. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an Intentional lifestyle. One in which we hope to share our way of being that brings awareness to the natural world we have fallen so far from. Nick and his tribe of like minds are creating a holistic, educational, retreat, workshop, and event center where people can come to learn how to co-exist in a harmonious relationship with nature and each other. Nestled along the scenic Contoocook River—one of only two rivers in the United States that flows north—this peaceful campsite is the perfect spot to relax and explore the outdoors. Enjoy excellent fishing, canoeing, and kayaking, with miles of beautiful river to discover right from camp. there is also an ATV trail that leaves right from the camp, which is an old railroad bed that can also be used for mountain biking. I do have two kayaks and two canoes for rent and firewood can be provided for $10 a day
The area is also a great destination for outdoor adventure, with mountain biking opportunities along the nearby railroad bed and trails leading over Hedgehog Mountain.
Please note: RV camping is available in the field camping area only, you must rent one of three sites to have access to a fire pit table and chairs. If you have any questions, please contact me.
Our main campsite can accommodate up to a 10-person tent, and we also offer a few smaller riverside sites for a more secluded experience. Larger groups are welcome as well, with plenty of flat field camping available.

This is a 200 year old farm filled with life. There are well groomed areas and other more wild areas. We are on almost 13 acres of land that attracts all forms of natural wildlife. In addition, we have alpacas, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, a cat and chickens. There is a beaver pond on the lower property.
Each site includes a place to sit and eat (ie. picnic table), fire pit and just breathtaking views. Campers can drive into and park at their site. Each site is separate and private from other sites.

We have a farm store offering a variety of items for sale including eggs, honey, rubs and much more. There is a microwave available to the campers in the farm store as well. Each site will be given a bundle of fire wood on the house, additional wood is for sale. You are welcome to participate in farm work. Coffee (from a local NH roaster), tea, hot chocolate and potable water (from the faucet) will be available daily. We are a farm family with young children so large and rowdy or drinking parties are very heavily discouraged.

Come to play or come to stay! We are directly on the vast Northern New Hampshire ATV/ORV Trail System, as well as the Northern Forest Canoe Trail. We are also a lakefront property, featuring a large sandy beach right on the lake for your relaxation.
The lake offers excellent swimming, boating, and fishing. From the beach, you'll enjoy amazing views of the Presidential Range in New Hampshire's White Mountains. The state boat launch is located right next to the property as well. We can host events for up to 50 people at our pavilion or on the beach.
Our full-hookup RV sites feature 30/50-amp electric service, water, and sewer connections, along with a picnic table and fire ring at each site. Reliable Wi-Fi is available throughout the campground for a nominal fee. Rates are based on a family of four, with additional guest fees applying. Children under five stay free.
For guests seeking more comfort, our fully furnished accommodations provide all the conveniences of home. Our Deluxe Cabins sleep up to four guests and include comfortable bedding, a fully equipped kitchen, linens and towels, air conditioning, heat, a television, and a private deck with an outdoor gas grill.
The Rental with a View overlooks the beach and pond and features a private deck, full kitchen, bathroom, climate control, and sleeping accommodations for up to six guests, including a separate bunkhouse.

Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Choose from one of four unique sites / outdoor spaces to best fit your camping needs; book a combination to reserve a section of the mountain, or book all four sites for total privacy or for events.
Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of multi-use nature trails, multiple scenic lookouts, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, and a dock on our private eight acre pond with available boat rentals.
At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers.
Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. Since, we have been hosting campers on a daily basis and continuously improving our sites / infrastructure / views. We’re excited to see what the next two decades hold; come join us on the mountain!

Hiking on several miles of maintained nature trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Whether you are up for just hanging at your campsite, exploring the swamp, picnic in the field overlooking the swamp, visiting the animals, or visiting around town, hiking nearby trials, we are here for your stay!
We have easy-to-access rustic style camping accommodations for all sized parties traveling with tents, travel trailers or small campers.
All of our sites offer potable water, solar shower bags, parking, fire pits, and a picnic table.
Welcome Center! complete with a game section, dry firewood bundles, water, fire starter kits, also, extra supplies for purchase such as drinking water, bug spray and some homemade items, eggs, toiletries and some other items to purchase with cash (honor system) or Venmo or PayPal. Check it out! You don't need to purchase extras online if you'd rather pay here with a cost savings for you :)
Onsite also, is a small library inside the Carraige House, let me know if you need a book. The old greenhouse has extra firewood available for your needs, located between 8 and 9 - also some items for you, to use, rent or purchase.

Common Area-Strickly foot traffic only, this is a space to enjoy the open sky with a table, firepit and a grill for anyone's use. If you don't want to bring a grill and don't want to cook on grates. It is a first come first serve basis. But maybe your neighbors' will all come and cook with you?
Cornhole!! Setup on weekends along the drive and next to the Common Area, find the bags in Welcome Center. The Shelf has many games, please return when not in use.
Once you are confirmed an email is sent offering places around this beautiful town that you may visit at your leisure, including Shaker Village, Canterbury Ale works, Canterbury Woods Golf course, Hackleboro Orchards, our own Canterbury Country Store-1 mile away, Cold Garden Sprits is a new small distillery that is fascinating!
If you need more city life amenities like grocery stores or restaurants, the capitol city of Concord to the south, and the town of Tilton and Laconia to the north, are a breeze to access and are less than 20 minutes away.
Direct bookings and advanced reservations are no problem, and we also try to accommodate last minute bookings whenever we can.

Harvey’s Hill is a private hilltop campsite with 360° sky views, unbeatable stargazing, and access to our rustic Cantina featuring bathrooms, warm running water, and a basic kitchen. Just 10 minutes off the highway in Epping, NH, it’s the perfect stopover or peaceful escape.
Harvey's Hill has been a beloved part of Epping for generations. In the summer, you might see small planes taking off from the hilltop airstrip or locals walking their dogs up to catch the sunset. In the fall, my aunt Erica makes donuts down in the Milk Room, and in the winter, the hill fills with sledders racing down its snowy slope.
Many celebrations have taken place here over the years, including weddings, reunions, and picnics.
The Cantina is a new addition to the top of the hill. It includes three bathrooms, a kitchen, and electricity. While simple and minimalist, these amenities make the site more comfortable, and we hope they enhance your stay.

Camp Ebb and Flow is located on the western edge of the White Mountains, near the crossing of the Appalachian Trail and a short drive to VT. Three lakes nearby for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Hiking trails nearby. The camp offers RV sites with water, electricity, and sewer, an RV site with no hookups, and several tent sites. One of the tent sites has water and electricity and another has electricity with nearby water. There is bathhouse with two toilets and two vanities as well as a shower with changing room. Potable water is also available from a spigot at the bathhouse. There are over six acres of mowed fields for activities and walking. There is also a lovely brook running through the property.
This property has a lengthy history going back to colonial times.
It’s been a farm, an apple orchard, and once had a sawmill.
Please check the calendar for available dates.
Check-in is no later than 9pm unless late arrival arrangements have been made prior to booking. Whenever possible, try to arrive before dark because there are no lights at most sites, which can make setup difficult.
A note regarding electric vehicles (EV):
If you have an electric vehicle and would like to tent camp, please select one of our full hookup RV sites. If you have the proper electric adapter for your vehicle, you can charge your vehicle at the 30A RV plug while tenting in the field near the RV site. We do not supply these adapters, and we cannot allow you to charge your vehicle unless you have reserved an RV site with full hookups.
If you do not see an open site for the days you'd like to get away, please contact us. Sometimes we can make other arrangements, allowing you to stay.

Riddle Hill Homestead is a family-run property on 24 acres in Grafton, New Hampshire, bordered by the Smith River and Manfeltree Brook. Our campsites are tucked into the woods, along field edges, and in the meadow, with a mix of open skies, tree cover, brook sounds, and quiet places to sit by the fire.
We are a working homestead, not a traditional campground, but we try to make off-grid camping comfortable and welcoming. Campers have access to a community picnic and BBQ area, non-potable water, an off-grid shower area, and a real port-a-potty near the movie and community area. We also provide one gallon of drinking water when you arrive.
Most individual sites include a portable camp toilet inside a small pop-up privacy tent. The Meadow sites do not, so please check the individual site description before booking.
Most sites also have their own fire pit. The Meadow sites and Overnight Adventurer use community fire pits instead. Your first bundle of firewood is included, and additional bundles are available for $5.
Our roadside Cookie Shop carries fresh-baked cookies, cold drinks, novelty ice creams, local products, eggs from our hens, snacks, and a small honor-system selection of camping basics and forgotten essentials when available. In October 2025, the shop was featured as the first stop on NH Chronicle’s Cookie Crawl.
Friday Night Movie Night is one of our favorite summer traditions. Campers are welcome to bring a chair or blanket, grab a snack, and watch a family-friendly movie under the stars. Some nights also include a small market, kids’ activities, or other community events. (No movie August 14th)
The Craft Cottage is our creative studio, where we host workshops, open studio time, blacklight paint parties, family activities, and seasonal events. Camping guests receive 15% off classes and workshops during their stay. You may also catch Michelle making glass beads or working on whatever project has taken over the studio that week.
During normal rainfall, the brook is a nice place to wade and explore, though water levels depend on the season and weather.

Nature provides most of the background noise. You may hear hens announcing a freshly laid egg, Mister the rooster crowing, peepers, frogs, birds, crickets, the brook, or an occasional owl. We also have dark skies and quiet country evenings.
The town beach and Northern Rail Trail are a short walk away. Hiking, lakes, mountain views, Ruggles Mine, and Haunting Whisper Vineyard & Spirits are also nearby.
Please remember that Riddle Hill Homestead is a working rural property. Wildlife, farm animals, uneven ground, tall grass, changing weather, bugs, and country sounds are all part of the experience.

This property overlooking the beautiful Connecticut river (no access to) has two cabins to choose from, one sleeps two people and the other can accommodate three.
The property is such a peaceful spot!
We have a rustic outhouse, and showers can be taken in the main farmhouse on the property if you would like, available Monday thru Saturday from 8am to 9am.
So that means Sundays are not available or evenings.
The cabin is outfitted with a comfy bed, fridge, and microwave and coffee maker.
We sell firewood to sit around a cozy campfire at night and stargaze! You can even purchase a S'mores package as well!
Enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings and listen to the birds. Bottled water is included as well and placed in your fridge upon arrival. Potable water also easily accessible.
We will do our best to make you feel at home away from home. In a way that is never intrusive, we respect your privacy. Come and unwind with nature all around you.
We are very pet friendly! And ask that all dogs are on a leash while outside. Also, pets are not to be left in the cabins unattended at any time.
So, with all that said get yourself and your pets here and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning on your deck looking out to the river. Don't set an alarm, the loons or geese may wake you first! Listen to the birds and relax! And if luck is with you, you might spot a bald eagle!

We loved camping at this spot. Plenty of privacy for a quiet weekend away. It was a quick step down to the river for a refreshing swim. Kevin was a great host and was responsive to anything we needed. Will definitely be coming back again!

This was my first time using Hipcamp and I have to say it couldn’t have gone a better way than it did. Kevin was an amazing host. He made me feel comfortable and taken care of immediately. Offering recommendations of close my activities, helping us load and unload all of our belongings and making sure all our needs were met. A bonus was how beautiful the location was. Right on the water this site was very private where the tent goes with a view of the water. Spacious area with the fire pit and bathroom were amazing as well! I will be coming back!

Really nice Hipcamp with sites scattered through the property. Separation and privacy is better than your typical campground. Fabulous breakfast if you choose to order that. Plus Barbie the owner is attentive to sorting out any issues (including an equipment failure on my end). Thanks!

We had an amazing stay at Eben’s place. He was a responsive and responsible host, and the views from our campsite were absolutely breathtaking. Watching the beautiful sunset colors light up the sky and then catching sunrise right from the campsite was unforgettable. During blueberry season, there are plenty of fresh blueberries to forage around the site as well. We would definitely love to come back!

This cabin was everything we could have dreamed for and more! The cabin was beautiful, the decor and the view was amazing and our 3 pups had an absolute blast being able to come with us! The cabin came equipped with everything you could need to have the best glamping experience. We enjoyed that it came with an ac and we took advantage of cooking on the grill they had. I was nervous about the bathroom situation since it’s an out house but the decor made it feel homey and it just felt like any other bathroom, we were pleasantly surprised! We also loved that it came with a mini fridge and a coffee maker so we could enjoy coffee on the porch while looking out on the beautiful river and mountain view’s. We had such an amazing time that we plan to come back at the end of the month. Could not recommend this cabin enough!! ⛺️

We had an awesome stay. Site 10 was an awesome spot nestled pretty far in the woods. The site was clean and the camping area was awesome. It was nice having firewood to purchase right at the camp spot. Will definitely be returning soon.

This is the third time we’ve camped at Camp Jack, and it’s become one of our favorite getaway spots. From the beautiful drive through the mountains to the campsite, to the beautiful and serene surroundings at camp we fall more in love every time we visit. Maudie is a great host who communicates excellently and a wonderful steward of the beautiful land. Definitely be back!!

Highly recommend this Hipcamp. The property was se peaceful and welcoming (as were the hosts). The amenities we did not expect were very useful if needed...though we were self contained. Use of kitchen, bathroom, hot tub (so unique) and overall vibe put this property at an 11. We'll definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Ryegate Away Cabins
The cabin was great. The views were amazing! Jessica was very nice and responsive. It was very peaceful and quiet. 2 things. The cabins are not private. They are close to each other and they share the outhouse that is technically a bucket you are going to the bathroom in. If you don’t know the other people renting the cabin next to you it could be a little strange especially when the bucket fills close to the top. But overall the stay was great!

Camping here was perfection! The outdoor shower was wonderful after a long day of exploring the upper valley! The staff were friendly and helpful. There were other campers, but our platform site felt very private! Clean porta potty, but indoor bathroom was also available! Community fire pit was lovely as well. Can’t wait to stay here again and explore more!

It was a beautiful spot overlooking the river. It was very peaceful and the cabin was spotless. Jessica was a great host and we would definitely come again if in the area. It was very close to the White Mountains and also close to the Northeast Kingdom.
