The Lodge and cabins we have at Sand Pond are situated about one hundred yards from beautiful sand pond (actually a lake). Sand Pond is a spring fed lake near the base of Silver Mountain which is a beautiful and close by hike to 360 views of the surrounding region/mountains. You will have easy and direct access to the sandy beach and swimming. The water is crystal clear and the water around the beach is very shallow which is great for children. The beach has a fire pit available as does the lodge. We have kayaks, a canoe and paddleboards available on the beach for guests to use. The Lodge at Sand Pond is situated about one hundred yards from beautiful sand pond (actually a lake). Sand Pond is a spring fed lake near the base of Silver Mountain which is a beautiful and close by hike to 360 views of the surrounding region/mountains. You will have easy and direct access to the sandy beach and swimming. The water is crystal clear and the water around the beach is very shallow which is great for children. The beach has a fire pit available as does the lodge. We have kayaks, a canoe and paddleboards available on the beach for guests to use. The lodge has a single bathroom and shower, multiple porches, a full kitchen, a full dining room, living room and four bedrooms with multiple beds in each room. Our simple, restful cabin sits in the woods just ~50 yards from the beach, perfect for quick dips, paddling, and sunset swims. Inside, the loft holds two twin beds; downstairs, a sofa sleeps two more. You’ll have a full kitchen (refrigerator and everything you need to cook), plus a classic porch for lazy reads and evening chats. The bathroom setup is rustic: a clean outhouse with a shower. Outside, gather at the fire pit after a day on the water. If you’re looking for a quiet, back-to-basics lake escape that still lets you cook real meals and be at the beach in under a minute—this is it. The Lodge at Sand Pond

Loved how close to the water the cabin was. Very peaceful and quiet, but also close to some good hiking trails. Definitely a rustic cabin experience but with a well equipped kitchen.

The Lodge at Sand Pond

Great place for a fun filled weekend. Place is exactly as advertised, very rustic, nothing fancy, just as we wanted. The pond is amazing, and the views are spectacular. Great short hikes around, and nothing but nature nearby. Marcus was quick to respond and a great host. Will definitely be back.
