This is a 200 year old farm filled with life. There are well groomed areas and other more wild areas. We are on almost 13 acres of land that attracts all forms of natural wildlife. In addition, we have alpacas, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, a cat and chickens. There is a beaver pond on the lower property. Each site includes a place to sit and eat (ie. picnic table), fire pit and just breathtaking views. Campers can drive into and park at their site. Each site is separate and private from other sites. We are 15 minutes from Highland Mountain Bike Park We are 15 minutes from BankNH Pavillon (concerts) We are 15 minutes from The Weirs in Laconia (Bike Week) We have two outdoor showers that are very rustic and open and the water is the temperature of the surrounding air (bring a bathing suit or something to shower in, there is no privacy fence at this time) This is an active farm that has an operating butcher shop on the premises. We have a farm store offering a variety of items for sale including eggs, honey, rubs and much more. There is a microwave available to the campers in the farm store as well. Each site will be given a bundle of fire wood on the house, additional wood is for sale. You are welcome to participate in farm work. Coffee (from a local NH roaster), tea, hot chocolate and potable water (from the faucet) will be available daily. We are a farm family with young children so large and rowdy or drinking parties are very heavily discouraged.

Peaceful Pine is a shaded area surrounded by stone walls and private from all other campers. The bull pine provides plenty of shade as do the other trees in the area. This camp site has a very artsy feel to it. You can drive to your site and park at this site. This site is good for overlanding. This site has a fire ring, hammock, picnic table, and grill. One arm load of wood is provided for free. This site is the closest to the porta johns.

The Vineyard is a private site that has a very romantic feel to it. The grape vine canopy gives plenty of shade and privacy. There is also a gate surrounding the site making it ideal for young children or dogs. You can drive to your site and park outside this site. This site has a fire ring, hammock, picnic table, wooden loveseat, and grill. One arm load of wood is provided for free. The porta johns are in walking distance of this site.

Alpaca Valley is the third site inside the alpaca pen and provides privacy for your campers as it is distant from the other sites. This site has a significant hill to access it or you can use the lower gate and by pass the grassy hill. Surrounded on one side by wild flowers and tree line and the other is open to the Alpaca pen, there is room to spread out and enjoy your camping event. You can drive to and park at this site. This site includes a fire ring, picnic table and grill. One arm load of wood is provided for free. The porta johns are in walking distance of this site.

Site 4 is inside the alpaca pen. It is the very back of the pen with lots of room for playing with the family or friends. There is a shower at the back of the alpaca greenhouse that is air temperature available for use. You can drive to and park at this site, great spot for overlanding as it provides a flat surface. This site has a fire ring, picnic table, and grill. One arm load of wood is provided for free. The porta johns are in walking distance of this site.

We booked here last minute for a night of tent camping. It was so peaceful, we stayed another night. The warm coffee in the AM was amazing! Cute little farm with animals all around. Sites are large and spread out. Portapotty was clean. Perfect distance to town.

Lovely farm owned by lovely people. Alpaca valley and Christmas trees seemed like the best spots, in my opinion. Hope to come back and stay with some friends next time. All the farm animals were a real treat.

Loved the camp site, really nice view especially during sunrise / sunset hours. The site is clean, with convenient fire pit and level ground for pitching a tent. The farm as a whole has a lot of fun animals to checkout, overall a nice experience.

Great stay on the farm! So happy we found it on our way! The site was private but within a short walk to the little “store” with kitchen sink, coffee, jams! Plenty of space for tent, there is a grill and fire pit with a Picknick table. We had a wild deer walking to our site during dinner time, it was a lot of fun! We will return for sure

Fantastic campsite. Easy to communicate with the host and the accommodations were great. We stayed in the vineyard which was private and far enough from other campsites we didn’t hear any other campers.

Camping here was great! The owners are very hospitable and it was so interesting learning about their farm. My son loved visiting all the animals in the morning and then again later on. We felt very comfortable here and it was very peaceful. We’d definitely like to return.

The site called peaceful Pines was just that! A nice combination between sun and Shade. It’s far enough away from the house to have privacy but also close enough to access what Amanda calls a little country store. I was very grateful for a pot of coffee when I ran out. Far enough, but also close enough to Lake Winnipesaukee/Weirs Beach. I would stay then again.!!!!!!

We loved tent camping at the Vineyard site! Everything was as advertised — potable water, firewood, easily accessible bathroom, and alpaca sightings. We also bought some fresh eggs and had a great time hanging out with her dog, Mocha, who greeted us every morning. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved tent camping here. I fell in love with the listing online and I left glad we'd chosen to stay here. It was quiet—only one other group during our visit—and the farm was beautiful. Wood provided for the campfire and we bought charcoal from the host for the grill. There's a room campers have access to with a sink for washing up, as well as an electric kettle, coffee maker, microwave, and plug if you need to charge your phone. We walked to the nearby pancake house for breakfast two mornings in a row. The porta potty is clean.

This place was amazing. Me and my wife came here as part of our honeymoon road trip and it didn't disappoint! Beautiful land, Sarah was so welcoming and we felt right at home immediately. We had such a relaxing 4 days, hope to come back again. There is also a pancake house within walking distance that has delicious food.

Amanda's place was gorgeous! She was a very welcoming host. We really enjoyed the location and it was fun to be in the alpaca field. They didn't bother us at all, and we had fun watching them graze in the morning sun. Recommend staying here!

I love tent camping at the peaceful packies. I’ve been to a new site each stay and they are all so unique. This one was located at the back of the alpaca pen where they free graze. We woke up and one was right by our spot eating some grass 😊. It is the furthest location from the house which is great for privacy, however keep in mind the communal shower is located right next to this site. Amanda’s property is the best location to find a activities such as swimming, hiking and more!

Me and 3 other guys from my MC stayed at Amanda’s farm for Laconia Bike Week. This goes down in history as one of the best camping trips I’ve ever been on, and I’ve been on hundreds in my lifetime. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was second to none. The views were outstanding and the campsite was perfect! The wildlife and farm animals were certainly an added bonus! What a great time! Would recommend to anyone who enjoys off the cuff camping. Shout out to Amanda, Matt, Caleb, Levi, Phoebe, Max and Mocha! Thank you for making this such a memorable experience! We loved tent camping at Amanda's hipcamp! We were welcomed and checked in with her beautiful family, and enjoyed many of the their delicious products like eggs and jams. The alpacas were so fun to camp with nearby.

I loved Amanda's alpaca pen! The alpacas are friendly (although they don't want to be pet) and it was fun to walk around the farm and such the chickens, sheep, and other animals.

We were running a race and two vans of 6 people rotated using their land to camp out. It was well maintained and had amenities we never used like firewood and picnic tables but the Porto potties were very clean and we enjoyed our starry night.

Frustrating and Difficult

The campsite was charming, but my experience was uncomfortable. Upon my arrival, I was greeted with a deserted farm and a farm-store that was in a state of long-standing neglect. There was no wood at the site as described in the listing and when I alerted the host to this, she promptly replied and promised the oversight would be remedied. I left the site for a concert and upon my return, still no wood had been provided. When I asked for a refund the next morning, citing my inability to cook or warm myself, the host refused stating that she “could have told me where the wood was” (but didn’t when I asked) and that I should have let her know I “had additional needs” (which I only had a need for wood and will now in the future just bring my own regardless). This was a frustrating and difficult experience at a place that would have otherwise been relaxing and easy.

We loved camping on Amanda's farmland. We stayed on the top campground inside the alpaca area. Peaceful and with an amazing view. Kid friendly and laid-back, our kids quickly had a group of 7 kids to hang out with. Absolutely recommend.
