Sacred Nectar rests on the land of the Wabanaki Tribes. This land, now known by it's view gifting fields, is one of Sandwich's top treasured gems. The Historic Farm was purchased by Townsend Thorndike from the first colonizing family to claim ownership of this unceded land, the McCrillis family. It was Town's place to get away from the busy life. As time went on and his money dwindled and plans to sell off some of the land arose.
Townsend's son, Nick, foresaw a devastating development of conventional homes that would diminish the soul of this sacred land that held so much magic. So, Nick decided to move back to the homestead to create an example of what a healthy life for the land and its inhabitants looks like. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an Intentional lifestyle. One in which we hope to share our way of being that brings awareness to the natural world we have fallen so far from. Nick and his tribe of like minds are creating a holistic, educational, retreat, workshop, and event center where people can come to learn how to co-exist in a harmonious relationship with nature and each other. Secluded in the wilderness, Boulder Brook Hipcamp has private tent sites right next to a babbling brook. The access road is a nice gravel .6 mile long road that is not maintained in the Winter. There is firewood for sale via Venmo right in the parking area, $6 per bundle. There is also a nice outhouse. There are 4 first come, first serve sites with tent platforms and fire pits. There is quick access to the Rockingham Recreational Trail, which is ideal for walking, mountain biking, and exploring. There is also a great swimming hole nearby called Chivers Pond. The campsites are located on the back corner of the Chivers Farm property and seasonal farm goods will be available for campers to purchase coming in 2025.

Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain.
Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity.
The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so.
The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Choose from one of four unique sites / outdoor spaces to best fit your camping needs; book a combination to reserve a section of the mountain, or book all four sites for total privacy or for events.
Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of multi-use nature trails, multiple scenic lookouts, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, and a dock on our private eight acre pond with available boat rentals.
At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers.
Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. Since, we have been hosting campers on a daily basis and continuously improving our sites / infrastructure / views. We’re excited to see what the next two decades hold; come join us on the mountain!
Things to do on the mountain SPRING-FALL include…
Hiking on several miles of maintained nature trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Relaxing/taking in the scenery from several scenic lookouts located on and around the mountain’s summit; combined they provide a 360-degree view spanning from the NH/ME Seacoast to the White Mountains of NH, to the Green Mountains of VT. Fishing, paddling, swimming, or relaxing on our dock. Bird/wildlife watching, berry picking, stargazing and leaf peeping.
This is a place you can easily spend a few days and keep busy!

Located in Bethlehem at the top of the White Mountains close to endless hiking and biking. Both downtown Bethlehem and Littleton are within a 15 minute drive, supplying many choices for food and shopping.
Rainy and need more options? Take the beautiful 1 hour drive east on 302 to North Conway and visit the big outlet stores. If the weather is better, and you want a more scenic way there with hiking -- take the 25 minute drive down to Lincoln and travel the amazing Kancamangus Scenic Byway (Route 112). This is 35 miles through the White Mountains with no gas stations, so you might want to top off while in Lincoln.
Thirty minutes east is the Mount Washington Cog Railway, and you will pass the historic Mount Washington Hotel on the way. Fifteen minutes south and you can be at Franconia Notch State Park.

The property used to be part of the old Johanson farm, it was a 200 acre dairy farm. The name wolf Swamp comes from the Pony Express Riders that carried Mail from The Canterbury Railroad Station to The Northfield Station. There were many Wolf Sitings reported on the Trail through the Swamp by The Riders, so it was named The Wolf Swamp.
The Campsites are spread out over 52 Acres, lots of privacy, plenty of parking
the sites are huge.

We are located on a private 36 acres of mostly woodland. We abut 100 acres of conservation land and another 100 acres of private woodlands.
Park at the end of Farley Rd on the RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD. The sites are a short 5 minute hike to the campsites. The property on the left side of Farley Road is private property, no trespassing, be respectful.
There is a marsh and a creek on the property that support myriad wildlife. There are owls, loons, eagles, hawks, hermit thrushes, robins, turkeys, song birds and herons. There are deer, moose, bear(don't leave your food out!), chipmunks, squirrels, opossum, raccoons(don't leave your food out!), skunks, minks, otters and many other species in our neighborhood. We live at the end of a dead end road with very little traffic.
No potable water provided, bring a filter and filter fresh water while you are here. Outhouse is easily accessible for all campers. Just before the Quiet campsite there is a trail for the outhouse on the right.

We are in central NH only an hour from Boston off of I 93, and less than 30 miles away from the famous Lake Winnipesaukee, we are perched on a picturesque dirt road in the beautiful country town of Canterbury New Hampshire.
Whether you are up for just hanging at your campsite, exploring the swamp, picnic in the field overlooking the swamp, visiting the animals, or visiting around town, hiking nearby trials, we are here for your stay!
We have easy-to-access rustic style camping accommodations for all sized parties traveling with tents, travel trailers or small campers.
All of our sites offer potable water, solar shower bags, parking, fire pits, and a picnic table.
Welcome Center! complete with a game section, dry firewood bundles, water, fire starter kits, also, extra supplies for purchase such as drinking water, bug spray and some homemade items, eggs, toiletries and some other items to purchase with cash (honor system) or Venmo or PayPal. Check it out! You don't need to purchase extras online if you'd rather pay here with a cost savings for you :)
Onsite also, is a small library inside the Carraige House, let me know if you need a book. The old greenhouse has extra firewood available for your needs, located between 8 and 9 - also some items for you, to use, rent or purchase.
Blackberry picking Aug-Sept. 1 pint free and then $5.00 a pint-honor system.
Common Area-Strickly foot traffic only, this is a space to enjoy the open sky with a table, firepit and a grill for anyone's use. If you don't want to bring a grill and don't want to cook on grates. It is a first come first serve basis. But maybe your neighbors' will all come and cook with you?
Cornhole!! Setup on weekends along the drive and next to the Common Area, find the bags in Welcome Center. The Shelf has many games, please return when not in use.
Once you are confirmed an email is sent offering places around this beautiful town that you may visit at your leisure, including Shaker Village, Canterbury Ale works, Canterbury Woods Golf course, Hackleboro Orchards, our own Canterbury Country Store-1 mile away, Cold Garden Sprits is a new small distillery that is fascinating!
If you need more city life amenities like grocery stores or restaurants, the capitol city of Concord to the south, and the town of Tilton and Laconia to the north, are a breeze to access and are less than 20 minutes away.
Direct bookings and advanced reservations are no problem, and we also try to accommodate last minute bookings whenever we can.

Streeter Mountain is a retreat destination for mountain biking, skiing, and hiking. Our onsite trails feature hand and machine-built features for riders of all skill levels. Under an hour of driving will get you to Mt. Moosilauke on the Appalachian Trail, renowned climbing at the Rumney Crags, and dozens of pristine NH lakes. Back on the farm, our swimming holes, hammocks, and communal fire pit offer peace and community connection after a full day of outdoor adventures.

Our property encompasses 3 different campsites:
1.) Camp with Stone Fireplace - a private gravel clearing with functional stone fireplace on an 11 acre parcel.
2.) A Frame to Rest In - a newer addition which is a tiny A-Frame structure close to, but separate, from the Fireplace site and shares a driveway.
3.) Easy Come Easy Go - right off 302 and has a circular gravel driveway easy for RV pull-in with a picnic table and fire ring.

Located in Bethlehem at the top of the White Mountains close to endless hiking and biking. Both downtown Bethlehem and Littleton are within a 15 minute drive, supplying many choices for food and shopping.
Rainy and need more options? Take the beautiful 1 hour drive east on 302 to North Conway and visit the big outlet stores. If the weather is better, and you want a more scenic way there with hiking -- take the 25 minute drive down to Lincoln and travel the amazing Kancamangus Scenic Byway (Route 112). This is 35 miles through the White Mountains with no gas stations, so you might want to top off while in Lincoln.
Thirty minutes east is the Mount Washington Cog Railway, and you will pass the historic Mount Washington Hotel on the way. Fifteen minutes south and you can be at Franconia Notch State Park.

The property used to be part of the old Johanson farm, it was a 200 acre dairy farm. The name wolf Swamp comes from the Pony Express Riders that carried Mail from The Canterbury Railroad Station to The Northfield Station. There were many Wolf Sitings reported on the Trail through the Swamp by The Riders, so it was named The Wolf Swamp.
The Campsites are spread out over 52 Acres, lots of privacy, plenty of parking
the sites are huge.
Lots of hiking in area, 5 different Swimming locations, we are in the Center of the
Local Trail System. Local attractions are minutes away, Highland Mountain Bike Park, Canterbury Aleworks, Canterbury Woods Country Club, Shaker Village, Brookford Farm, Hackleboro Orchard and Fishing or kayaking the Merrimack River,
or enjoying the Beach at Sandogardy Pond with it's children's Playground. Local Farm Stores, Shops, Homemade Gifts, Breads, Pies, Cheeses and we even have a few local Breweries. There is something for everyone, just ask and we will
point you in the Right Direction.

We are located on a private 36 acres of mostly woodland. We abut 100 acres of conservation land and another 100 acres of private woodlands.
Park at the end of Farley Rd on the RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD. The sites are a short 5 minute hike to the campsites. The property on the left side of Farley Road is private property, no trespassing, be respectful.
There is a marsh and a creek on the property that support myriad wildlife. There are owls, loons, eagles, hawks, hermit thrushes, robins, turkeys, song birds and herons. There are deer, moose, bear(don't leave your food out!), chipmunks, squirrels, opossum, raccoons(don't leave your food out!), skunks, minks, otters and many other species in our neighborhood. We live at the end of a dead end road with very little traffic.
No potable water provided, bring a filter and filter fresh water while you are here. Outhouse is easily accessible for all campers. Just before the Quiet campsite there is a trail for the outhouse on the right.

Once this property was part of a large chicken farm, the fields were hayed and still are.
The meadow filled with water after logging occurred about 70 years ago creating the swamp.
Recently, small farm has been built here that includes alpacas, a llama, ducks, chickens, kitties and a rescue dog

We are in central NH only an hour from Boston off of I 93, and less than 30 miles away from the famous Lake Winnipesaukee, we are perched on a picturesque dirt road in the beautiful country town of Canterbury New Hampshire.
Whether you are up for just hanging at your campsite, exploring the swamp, picnic in the field overlooking the swamp, visiting the animals, or visiting around town, hiking nearby trials, we are here for your stay!
We have easy-to-access rustic style camping accommodations for all sized parties traveling with tents, travel trailers or small campers.
All of our sites offer potable water, solar shower bags, parking, fire pits, and a picnic table.
Welcome Center! complete with a game section, dry firewood bundles, water, fire starter kits, also, extra supplies for purchase such as drinking water, bug spray and some homemade items, eggs, toiletries and some other items to purchase with cash (honor system) or Venmo or PayPal. Check it out! You don't need to purchase extras online if you'd rather pay here with a cost savings for you :)
Onsite also, is a small library inside the Carraige House, let me know if you need a book. The old greenhouse has extra firewood available for your needs, located between 8 and 9 - also some items for you, to use, rent or purchase.
Blackberry picking Aug-Sept. 1 pint free and then $5.00 a pint-honor system.
Common Area-Strickly foot traffic only, this is a space to enjoy the open sky with a table, firepit and a grill for anyone's use. If you don't want to bring a grill and don't want to cook on grates. It is a first come first serve basis. But maybe your neighbors' will all come and cook with you?
Cornhole!! Setup on weekends along the drive and next to the Common Area, find the bags in Welcome Center. The Shelf has many games, please return when not in use.
Once you are confirmed an email is sent offering places around this beautiful town that you may visit at your leisure, including Shaker Village, Canterbury Ale works, Canterbury Woods Golf course, Hackleboro Orchards, our own Canterbury Country Store-1 mile away, Cold Garden Sprits is a new small distillery that is fascinating!
If you need more city life amenities like grocery stores or restaurants, the capitol city of Concord to the south, and the town of Tilton and Laconia to the north, are a breeze to access and are less than 20 minutes away.
Direct bookings and advanced reservations are no problem, and we also try to accommodate last minute bookings whenever we can.

Also, be sure to check out all the extras (you have to review the extras

There is firewood in each site for your arrival, if you use it, you pay the $8.00, if you order it online, no worries it's there for you already, and extra can be bought and delivered during your stay.

This was our second time booking Peter’s campsite. The first time we came, everything was covered in snow, so we didn’t really get into the campsite.
This time, we chose a spot right by the river. Falling asleep to the sound of the water and waking up with sunlight shining into the tent was such a beautiful experience.
What we really love about this place is how private it feels. Even if the campground is full in the summer, you can’t see other sites nearby — it still feels quiet and secluded.
We will definitely come back again. I’m sure it will feel completely different in the summer.

We originally booked another campsite, but it turned out to be really disappointing, so we decided to cancel last minute and look for another option. That’s when we found Peter.
When we arrived, the ground was still covered in snow and we had trouble finding the way in. Peter immediately came out to meet us and personally guided us to the site, which we really appreciated.
Since we were the only ones camping that night, he kindly told us to pick any spot we liked. The place itself is very private, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful — there’s even a small waterfall nearby, which made the experience even more special.
Overall, it turned out to be such a great and memorable stay. Thank you, Peter, for being so helpful and welcoming!

We enjoyed getting out into the woods and staying on Ryan's property. Unfortunately, they had experienced a significant snowfall the night before our arrival. So this spot wasn't reachable in our campervan. But, Ryan went above and beyond to get us set up at another site close by. The location to Loon and the surrounding area at either site is fantastic and we plan on returning in the spring to explore more!

Awesome location and Ryan is a great host and good communicator. We stayed in February after multiple snow falls and he had it plowed out enough to easily fit our camper and truck. Great location and very quiet. Definitely coming back, would love to use the fire pit when it’s not snowed in!

Great place with great people. They have the cutest cats as well. Make sure you read the directions/details of the site before you go so you know what you’re signing up for.
The furnace had some mild venting issues but we were able to get it going pretty warm and toasty. The farm itself is beautiful—it was nice to get away from the city and enjoy slow life and nature. 10/10 trip

What an incredible adventure getting to stay in the Magik Cabin! Nick was kind enough to bring our stuff up via snowmobile so we could snowshoe up with our dogs. It was a beautiful, easy walk and well worth it. The cabin is such a cool place with so much to see and great views. We were nervous about being warm but it was -6 degrees at night and we were VERY toasty with the wood stove. The sauna and cold plunge is also a must!

Staying at the bus at Toad Hill during a quite snowy winter’s weekend was just what I was needing for a reset. Beautiful and quite area with easy access to the White Mountains. Cassidy the bus lovely to stay in and the wood stove keeps you very warm. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Very fun and cozy experience! There was snow on the ground and Dwayne had patted down the pathway prior to my arrival. Outhouse was very clean. Peaceful experience. The roads got very icy in the morning but Elle and Dwayne helped me get out safely.

This is definitely a great place. We stayed during some cold days, car camping with snow everywhere. The place looked like a great location for car/rv camping. Not sure about any other types of camping as we didn't explore enough. Barbie did a great job taking care of the area, had everything ready for us, including everything additional we paid for, and a nice snack. Porta potty was super clean, so that's a huge plus too. I would definitely recommend.
