This hand crafted cabin provides acres of seclusion and peace! You’ll begin your mornings with the sweeping views of the valleys and peaks of neighboring hills. Days can be filled with hiking or mountain bike trails for you alone! (10 exclusive acres of the 250) Visit nearby, loon inhabited, Walker Pond where fishing or kayaking are a favorite pastime. In the evenings, you can drop into Concord, NH…a short 20 minute ride for dinner or all the nightlife and shopping our capital city has to offer. We’d instead recommend staying right on the property-the sweeping sunsets won’t be surpassed. Grill your kabobs right over the open fire or in the propane provided grill. You know what follows…s’mores by your private campfire where the stars are brightest in the middle of this 250 acre farm. It’s sure to put a twinkle in your eye! It could seem difficult to pull yourself away, but the luxuriously appointed queen bed is sure to beckon you for a restful night…keep the many screened windows open! Please be aware there are two security cameras, one at the entrance and one at the Owls Nest Guest Only Sign. What memories or treasures would you like to take home with you? Just let me know!

I LOVE visiting different Hipcamps with my pups... this was the 1st time traveling with only the 2, reactive, working line rescues, while healing from the loss of our other 2 pups... I always look for EXCLUDED, Quiet and Private sites, where the pups can just be, with limited to zero triggers of the outside world... The OWLS Nest was one the the Best Site we have been to so far... The OUTSIDE was clean, spacious and with plenty of trails to explore... The cabin and the rest of the amenities were more the we ever had at other Hipcamps and it for sure made the trip a way more relaxing... Joe was VERY responsive and respectful of our privacy and we hope to be back in the fall.

Beautiful location, great host and overall an awesome place to stay! My wife and I plus our two dogs stayed here for my birthday weekend and loved it. The cabin is beautiful, the fire pit was perfect and had plenty of wood. It is secluded, but not hard to find, which we loved. We would stay here again! Thanks Joe

My favorite Hipcamp so far! Stunning property with amazing views, tons of privacy and almost no road noise & light pollution. The cabin is very spacious & comfortable and the outhouse is very clean. There’s even an actual flush toilet & shower. Joe met us with some fresh raspberries & a warm welcome. My after dark walk with my dogs was my most memorable moment - nothing but nighttime insect sounds, moonlight & the wind in the leaves. We will definitely be back - truly a very special place!

This Hipcamp was absolutely gorgeous. The land was filled with wildflowers and fruit, and you can tell so much heart and soul went into creating and caring for this property. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and even better than the pictures online. The house was cozy and comfy with everything we needed to cook and enjoy our stay. The view, the outhouse, so much attention to detail! Truly a special spot—we’ll definitely be back!

The Owl’s Nest
Joe is a great host! My wife and I absolutely loved our stay this weekend. The setting is very private, lending quite the romantic and relaxing feel. The cabin itself was very comfortable and clean, with stunning views over the hills and the meadow in front. It’s so well stocked that we only had to bring clothes, food, and drinking water. There’s even a pour over coffee setup! If you wait until late afternoon when the sun has warmed up the water tank, you can shower while looking over the majestic ridge. While we were unable to take advantage of the brick oven pizza this time, we came home with an abundance of fresh blueberries picked right from the farm!

The Owl’s Nest
We were looking for a bit of post-hiking R&R with our dog, and we came to the right place. The Owl's Nest combined a beautiful and secluded landscape with a cabin that was artfully and thoughtfully crafted from top to bottom. As previous commenters have noted, despite it's cozy size, we didn't feel as though any detail was missed. The outdoor shower was cold but a much appreciated treat after the morning. Once we were cleaned up all of the supplies were ready for us to make a fire and enjoy the view over a meal, and finally to retreat back to the cabin where the view was still the highlight through the many windows. We loved our stay and will definitely not hesitate to visit again.

The Owl’s Nest
The Owl's Nest was amazing. The views were spectacular!!! Joseph definitely put his heart and soul into building the cabin and creating a wonderful romantic space to either relax or go hiking. He also offers sawmilling sessions but we didn't have enough time there. It was so quiet and serene. Our dog absolutely loved the space, she got to roam free and off leash. We got to see an owl. We heard a moose but never saw it probably because of our dog. The whole cabin is hand built, I was just amazed at the workmanship that went into this whole place. Everything was well thought out. You don't need to come with anything, he has everything there for you. We will definitely be going back, and we will be recommending Owl's Nest to whomever wants to just get away from the day to day life and de-stress.

Luxury Cabin on a Mountaintop
The Owl’s Nest
My girlfriend and I loved staying in the Owl’s Nest. It comes with everything you need while still being remote. This is a massively underrated spot, it has running well water, an open air shower, septic toilet, and a sink. The grill and cooktop help tremendously as well. Joe stocks you with plates, pots, pans, and glasses. You’re 15 mins from Concord and 35-40 from Laconia so you’re able to spend your day on the town but come back to this awesome site. The view is stunning and we loved seeing all of wildlife and wild flowers. The cell service was perfect, but remember to bring a portable charger. Thank you Joe!

We had an OUTSTANDING stay at the cabin! We could not believe how secluded it was and the views were stunning!! What a beautiful sunset and sunrise we got to experience. Joseph thought of everything for our stay! The battery operated candles were a nice touch to laying down and enjoying the sounds of nature! We did bring our dog who also loved exploring the property and sunbathing in the fields. I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone! We will be back next fall!
