Mountain Home Tent Sites

My kids and I stayed on Evan’s land while we were in the area for the Tunbridge World’s Fair. Evan greeted us when we arrived, and we were able to purchase a bundle of firewood from him, which was really convenient. We were camping with a rooftop tent on a Toyota Tacoma as well as a ground tent. The property is up on a mountainside, so just be prepared for a steep drive up to the camping area. Since nobody else was camping the night we stayed, Evan let us set up in the common area instead, so I can’t speak to the individual campsite itself. The common area, though, was awesome! The view was incredible. There was also a private composting toilet with a water tank for handwashing, which was a really nice setup for a rustic camping spot. Unfortunately, we had a family issue come up and ended up leaving early, so we didn’t spend the entire night. We were disappointed to miss the sunrise because I can only imagine how beautiful it is from up there. Overall, a really unique, peaceful place to camp with an amazing view. I wish we’d been able to stay longer!

The property was awesome, especially the common area. We were able to easily get our overland trailer to our site (#2) and had plenty of room. We plan to come back another time!

An awesome night despite nature dumping rain on us. Some of the best star gazing I’ve ever experienced. Evan was great and provided extra wood due to the rain.

We had a wonderful time on the farm, Evan was very accommodating and the sites are spaced out well. Make sure to grab some fresh eggs, and check out the stars from the top of the hill!

Had a great night in the Cozy Corner. We arent campers but borrowed some gear to dip our toes into a new hobby. The camp is clearly thoughtfully designed. The firewood and fire pit were quality. The two other campsites were occupied - and we didn't notice them at all once we were tucked away on our site. We drove there in a small sedan and it was fine.

Beautiful and well maintained campground. Top of the hill community area has an awesome view of the hills. Toilets clean and well maintained too. Evan does a good job of responding promptly to messages. Nice drive into the country.

We loved camping here! It was very private, plenty of flat space, woods to hunt for kindling, the firewood we purchased from Evan was such good wood we only needed a couple of bundles for two nights, the view from the common area was great and I loved the swing for our 21 month old (the slide was a little wet so we didn't use it but cool to have). The outhouse was clean. You can't see any other sites which I love. We explored some of the trails which was unexpected but good for us with a busy toddler. I do wish that the site was a little more mowed but we hand mowed around the fire and after the first day things got tamped down a little after walking around. For the price, you can't beat it! I would def stay here again.

Beautiful and peaceful property

We loved our campsite and hanging out in the common area at the top of the hill. It was a beautiful view with an incredible night sky filled with stars. It was peaceful and relaxing, and the host was so helpful, responsive and accommodating. We hope to camp here again in the future to enjoy more of this beautiful region. Also the vegetable bundle was delicious and added so much to our meals!

Secluded mountaintop clearing!

Gorgeous camp site up in the mountains and through the maple trees! Site 3 was secluded, level, well maintained, and had a great tree for shade. Clearly a lot of care was put into making nice spaces for their visitors.

What a beautiful spot! We camped at site 1 (wood's edge) and loved it. The community space on the hill just above is fantastic, and my five year old really loved exploring, and even finding a slide in the woods! So nice to have firewood waiting for us at the site. I would definitely stay here again, and would love to have more time to explore the many trails.

Perfect campsite! It felt like we had our own little mountain to ourselves. Views, walking trails, privacy, and just enough convenience with bathrooms and nearby farmstead. Absolutely lovely. The drive up and down the mountain can be a little spooky, especially in the rain, but it’s doable!

Beautiful area, it was great to get fresh mushrooms and produce for our dinner at the farm store. It’s a bit of a climb up to the camp spots on the bike, but well worth it! Our spot was beautifully maintained and felt very private nestled in the forest. Super cool sculptures too.

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend with our 2 year old daughter and had an absolutely wonderful time. The site was clean and well maintained when we arrived. The hosts were very responsive and helpful when we had questions. The camping site sits at the top of a hill that borders their farm. This makes for a great day hike if you want to go down to the White River for an afternoon swim. The compost outhouses were very well maintained and were not at all uncomfortable to use. We plan on coming back and bringing friends with us next time! Thank you Evan & Family for making our first family camping trip something special to remember!

LOVED THIS CAMP! We had the whole place to ourselves bc there were no other bookings so we camped at the community area. Beautiful property. 10/10. Will be coming back!! We had hiked in the whites earlier in the day and only had to drive 45 mins to get here.

We camped at the top and really enjoyed having the stage when it rained. There was no one else there and it was very quiet and peaceful. We were appalled to discover the next morning that the campers before us had left a lot of food scraps and used paper products hanging in the corners of the stage. This despite all the warnings about bears. Just because they can't reach it, doesn't mean it won't attract them for the next campers. Take your trash with you, people!

Second time at this property and we had the best weekend. Had a great walk along the path, swam in the river and watched the stars every night. The veggies were excellent as well, and def enhanced our meals. Highly recommend! I love this place!

This place is MAGICAL. We booked all three sites with a group of friends (and our pup) and it was perfect. All the kids had a blast! The Cherry Glen site was wonderful. Separate and secluded with quick access to trails and the common areas. We'll definitely be back!
