Shari was a great host, she took the time to give us a quick tour even though she was just putting dinner on the table for the inn guests. Was nice to have the field to ourselves that night. The outdoor hot showers were amazing. The outdoor center was a sweet place to sit in the evening and the morning when the black flies were out. Unfortunately it rained a bit so we skipped the fire. Waking up to the sun and the rolling green hills was beautiful. Only downside was we were only there for one night.

Nice little site with lovely sounds of water flowing in the river across the road. I only utilized the site as a swap over from and apartment back into my camper but the hosts were wonderfully helpful (added extra length to the power outlet so I didn’t have to re-hook and move my camper closet). Thanks to both for everything!

Wonderful hosts. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night and did not have a chance to explore. It is a great spot. There is a road that goes along the campsite that is surprisingly busy. Nothing crazy, but unexpected. We will be back when traveling in the area.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating and the site was beautiful and spacious! There was an extension cord so we were able to park our van further down into the field and still have power. This site would be especially great for folks with larger rigs that won’t fit a lot of sites. The WiFi mostly was strong enough for remote working and streaming.
The only big minus for us is that the road runs the full length of the site and does get a moderate amount of traffic (at least 2-5 cars per hour), so it was a lot less private than we were hoping for and than it looked from the pictures. Otherwise the site was great though!
We had a fantastic stay at Dori’s land. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The property offers tons of space to relax and explore, and we especially loved the abundance of nearby trails—perfect for hiking and enjoying natural beauty of VT. It was peaceful, scenic, and just what we needed. We’ll definitely be back!

Spacious Field Site
We loved the quiet spacious site on Dori’s property. A couple of issues (water and WiFi) were fixed promptly. It was centrally located and suited our needs perfectly. It’s located on a well maintained dirt road. The side road that google maps took us on was a bit sketchy with our truck and trailer but is easily avoided by going in and out the road the site is located on. Overall a nice experience. We very much recommend.

Dori’s site is a wonderful spot to camp when visiting the area! Both Dori and her husband were gracious hosts, making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The site is lovely, a broad field tucked between the forest hills and a beautiful tributary of the White River. Will definitely stay here again!

Dori & Josh were gracious hosts and welcomed us with smiles and a friendly hello! The sight is relatively level and nice and open. We had a fire pit but were tired from the days travel and didn’t get a chance to use it. Close to the road but it was not busy so no problems. Electric and water were supplied as well as a port-a-potty. We walked the dogs the next day up the road across the neighboring bridge. WOW, the quintessential VT outdoor scenery. There is a stream that follows the road the entire way up the hill. Bring a camera it is beautiful.
All in all we enjoyed our stay as well as our hosts.
