Explore the Area Step into History: Take a short, scenic walk or bike ride into Historic Downtown Saranac Lake to enjoy local shops, dining, and culture. Paddle the River: Launch your canoe or kayak right from the camp! Paddle upstream to head straight into town, or go downstream to explore the peaceful winding riverways.

My friend and I used this site to meet up for our ADK camping trip . Nice little spot , by the river and close to town . Michael was great with communication and offered to help with anything we might need .

A lovely spot that was very level and good for a tent site. Michael not only left good firewood but also good kindling. The road noise took some getting used to but in the end it largely lulled me to sleep.

Cute spot right on the river! There is a road across the river so not totally private but not bothersome either. Site was clean, and we felt safe. Perfect stop off on our way through the mountains. Mike was a perfect host!
