30 Amp Full Hook-Up Waterfront Back In - 30ft
Camp at your own risk
My campsite at Spacious Skies Adirondacks was in a row of five spaces that appeared to be newly created. Hwy 87 was just behind us, so there was significant traffic noise 24/7. In front of us were multiple construction projects: open ditches, loose pipe, rocks, piles of sand, and equipment. Nothing was cordoned off or otherwise marked for safety. My site was a few feet away from a 6-8 foot drop to a river below. The second day rain was forecast. A camp staff person came by to say if we got the rain, we'd be under water, but he was monitoring the situation. By late afternoon, we were under thunderstorm and flash flooding alerts. This same staffer came by and repeated he was "monitoring the situation." I took my dogs out around 10:30pm; the radio was broadcasting repeated flash flooding alerts for the county, but the river was still low. I went to bed. Next thing I knew it was daylight and a neighboring camper was knocking on my door. Water was already ankle deep on the campsite. I pulled the dogs' fence away, my neighbor helped me unhook the utilities, hitch up, and I pulled the trailer forward. I went back to get the fence, my neighbor waded in with me, and the water had already risen to our calves. It was moving. I have no doubt, the way the water was rising, my trailer would have flooded had this camp neighbor not alerted and helped me. He got us all out safely. No camp staff showed up until I was pulling into the main campground. I will not camp here again.

Not impressed
The only thing we've been asked to bring is bedding. But everything else is missing in the "luxury" cabin...
There was no towels, nothing to do the dishes, only one toilet paper roll...
A bag of wood is 10$...

Great campground! Lots to do. The river was low when we were there but still great. We were able to kayak from the boat launch. The arcade was fun as well. Washing machines were very clean. Short walk to the bathroom.

Great campsite
Great campsite with a super easy check-in process. You’re rather close to the other campsites, so if you’re looking for a bit more privacy then I’d look elsewhere, but this place is great if you’re just looking for an easy-going night by a fire or a quick place to stay while passing through.

Awesome campgrounds. Plenty of activities on the weekends for children. The pool is heated and was still open in the middle of September when we visited. Staff was super friendly and our cabin was clean. Only thing that could have been better would be a coffee machine vs a kuerig in the cabin. Other than that everything was perfect.
Rooms: Clean cozy cabins.
Nearby activities: High peaks wilderness is close to explore. Campgrounds has activities on the weekend for family's.
