Nice spot and hosts. We knew this was a working farm, but we weren’t told we’d be woken up at 6 am by the field workers starting up a weedwhacker right outside our tent. Would have been nice to know.
Communication with the hosts was a bit spotty as well.

Ben the host was very friendly and helpful. The camping area was beautiful and grassy. The absence of rules and overly restrictive regulations was exactly what we were looking for. It is not an overly coiffed space but the community vegetable patches were very cool to see. Lots of wood to use and we had a wonderful bonfire!

Nice open grass area to set up. Amazing stream right behind the fire pit was great for cooling off. The stream is the only shaded area up until late afternoon, so it gets hot in the field. We set up our tent about 10 feet from the abandoned bus, which is a much better spot than near the fire pit. Setting up near the fire pit will result in headlights beaming on your tent. You’ll also get blinded if you don’t have your back to the road.
Back to the abandoned bus. It’s not in the photos, and at about 1:30 in the morning we heard noises coming from the bus. I peaked it and saw a flashlight moving around in there. Suddenly some guy came out of the bus and walked into the woods with a guitar. The next morning we awoke to two people from the bus wandering through our campsite. Not ideal, as we had a working protection dog with us who was on high alert.
Further back was another camper, newer, but those folks ran a generator all day and night.
In all. I can’t really recommend this spot fora relaxing camp. It was noisy, bright from traffic and had random people wandering around. Maybe, if you’re going to party, this might be ideal, but not for us.

This was a great place to park the pop-up while we went and did things and just come back to sleep. We live on a road, so the traffic noise didn't bother us. The field is roomy and the host is very nice.

Host was accommodating and flexible, given the private site and unmarked.
A brook runs thru the site making it tranquil if you can get a spot close. A quaint spot- will be back.

Friendly hosts with a great mission and a convenient field to camp in if you want to be near the Appalachian Trail. Near a lightly travelled road, so there is some vehicle noise.

Great site! Huge, mostly level, grassy area. Owner's dog Biscuit is super friendly. It was a bit hard to navigate to the location itself with as I am directionally challenged, and I would recommend any 4-wheeler over a sedan.
The firepit is HUGE and amazing, I only ended up using maybe 1/5 of the size of the whole thing when my fire was at its largest.
Site was by the highway but far enough that if you come from the city you will barely notice, unless you look directly towards the road in the dark and the headlights flash you in the eyes. That did happen a couple times.
For the land, it was just grassy everywhere, from where you enter to the mouth of the bridge. The ground was very soft and moist even in dry weather. Not too much shade, and it got a bit windy but nothing crazy. They did mow the grass after i pitched my tent, thank goodness I took my allergy pills. There is a creek right next to the site which makes it slightly colder and wetter especially in October...
BEWARE: bathroom situation is as written. Outhouse. Compost toilet. Cold. If you don't want to sit on it, bring a trash bag, disinfecting wipe, toilet seat liners, or bring your own toilet 😬 i think I might next time.

In the Pines at A Farm for All!
We had a wonderful time at A Farm for All this weekend. The staff/volunteers at the farm were very sweet and helpful, there were great amenities and the camp site itself was so pretty and secluded. We also did the herb tour which was fascinating. We highly recommend this camp site! Only warning is that the short climb to the site is no joke so if you’re bringing extremely heavy gear this might be a challenge for you. We were able to do everything between two adults and one 4yo so it’s not the end of the world either. Can’t wait to be back!

I don’t think the pictures do a good job of showing that the space is basically 30 ft away from Route 55 with almost no trees so you can see and hear the cars going by the whole time.
There was a bunch of trash around the site.
Check in was fine.
There’s a grassy area with a fire pit. I think this listing would be fine if you’re looking to hang out around the fire with friends but not really a campsite, more of a backyard.

OK, the space is great and a little river that runs through. It is Cute needs to be a bath or at least a porta potty and a shower with hot water. you have a road that runs right next to it

Just what I expected from the photos I’ve seen from the website. The land is spacious and gives way to a beautiful creek where you can enjoy your cold IPA while relaxing on a communal chair reading your favorite book. Before coming, I would suggest bringing your own beach chairs as only logs are setup around the fireplace although, it makes a great table for outdoor cooking. This place is fulfilling and gives you the proper space to relax and distress from the busy noises of the city. An hour and a half drive isn’t bad for a first time solo camper. The people who run this place are open and receptive to any questions you have. Lastly, if deciding to take a shower/bath in the creek please be mindful of doing research regarding eco-friendly soaps as this can impact what lays ahead. Would definitely come again especially during autumn.

Friendly people and nice looking location. I needed a cool-looking fire pit for a photoshoot and this site was perfect for it! For camping overnight you do hear sounds from the nearby road, but it's also conveniently located so there's a trade off.

We were very well accommodated despite our fairly late arrival. Even though sounds of occasional passing vehicles can be heard from the campsite, the fireflies and the sounds of wildlife that were abundant during our stay more than made up for it. Maybe a strange aside, but the water provided at the camp is quite tasty!

Recommending this place is difficult because the conditions are advertised more or less accurately but the bathroom and shower are in very poor state.
If you do not mind the discomfort and looking for something more primitive, this is a great place to stay with very friendly hosts.
Communication could have been improved as we were told if we need anything, just to text on hipcamp but then we never got response from them.
That said, they were quite flexible with us considering we needed some relocating to a drive-in site.

In The Pines is such a naturally beautiful & peaceful campsite nestled under huge pine trees. There is a clearly defined trail that leads from the parking up to the campsite. We used the soft-sided wagon provided to haul our gear & food up the meandering trail to the site, followed by a load of wood. It was helpful to have one person pulling the wagon & another pushing, stopping to rest if needed or to take a look at the natural plants & trees all along tithe trail! There is a large fire pit ring and a table for food prep. Near the site is an easy to use composting toilet (t-paper & soap provided) There are plenty of soft & flat areas to set up a tent(s) After arriving & getting our tent set up, Ben took us on a tour of the operations & property; he is super kind & has extensive knowledge about medicinal & herb farming & the health benefits they provide & is happy to teach you about them, as well as microgreens & mushrooms.
The tour was very informative & we learned a lot! Early mornings the birds start to sing as the sun begins to rise (bring earplugs if you prefer to sleep in.) We hiked nearby in Kent at Bull’s Bridge to 10 Mile Hill. You can also hike on A Farm For All property. Book your stay & help fund the Farm & their mission . Thanks for having us Ben! 🌱🍄🟫🌲
