Maybe it was late in season, but would not recommend, at least for the price. Grass was really long which was a pain with dogs and being wet. More an “us” issue, and that impacted our visit. There was an empty camper onsite and a few closed up sheds. Owner responded to questions and place is very quiet which was nice.

Staying here was great! Easy to find and very cozy. The porta-potty was the cleanest porta potty I have ever seen. This place is very quiet, and you could see all the stars. 100% would recommend and would love to come back another time :)

Far from the road with a nice view of rolling hills. Sunset and night sky were spectacular! I’ll be back. Barbara was very responsive.
If you’re reading this review just go ahead and book Bramble Hill. Epic views, quiet, private, close to great amenities (hiking, swimming, eating). Barbara is an excellent and communicative host.

Bramble Hill was easy to find, very spacious, with gorgeous views of the rolling countryside- and the stars were incredible!!! i would absolutely come back :) make sure to get firewood ahead of time!

The property was gorgeous. We had the entire hill to ourselves. First time camping in Syracuse and couldn't have been happier. Thank you Barbara for sharing your beautiful land!

Barbara is a great host, friendly and chill. The land is beautiful and well kept, porta potty was clean. If there are other people camping at the other spots it is not private, can see other camp spots. The stars were AMAZING, so clear. Bugs weren’t bad. Would stay again!

We really enjoyed this site. We stayed one night in order to attend a concert at Beak and Skiff and it was perfect. Gorgeous views, very quiet and extremely clean toilet. We will definitely be back!

Incredible place to stay!
Wide open dark skies with lots of stars. The site is a great, clean, and safe place to stay. There is a clean Porta Potty and fire pit on site as well.
Host is very responsive to texts.
No fire wood on site, so make sure you pick some up on the way. We got ours from the gas station down the street.
We loved staying on the hilltop. We got there a little later, set up camp, cooked dinner over an open fire, and gazed at the stars for hours while dancing in the freshly mowed lawn and playing with our pup. It was so dreamy to fall asleep to the sounds of coyotes howling in the distance. The only thing to note is that the neighbors are actively farming so you might hear some tractor sounds and work happening in the morning. We’re both farmers ourselves so we didn’t mind! The camp spot is within a half hour drive of numerous waterfalls, lakes, and hikes. It’s a beautiful area!

Beautiful and quiet hilltop sight with great views of the valley. Close to Cazenovia. It was raining so I was in and out but had a peaceful nights sleep.

Beautiful property; everything as described, easy to find.
Very serene and peaceful setting! We only stayed there overnight to sleep so wasn’t able to spend a lot of time there, but we enjoyed what little time we spent there. Would have loved to have spent more time there. Next time!

We took a last minute overnight camping trip and this place was perfect. Secluded, only about a 25 min drive from Syracuse, & subtle beautiful scenery. Barbara was great making sure we made it safe and knew exactly where to go. This time it was just us and the dogs but we plan to return with our little girls for our annual back to school camping trip in 3 weeks!

Great secluded and clean stay! We loved it. There is a nature preserve across the street too
I was a first time hipcamp user. I booked last minute and arrived very late at night. It was dark. Barbra’s response was fast! She walked me through the process. The out house was very clean. The space was clean. And oh wow! I sure did wake up to a beautiful view! Thank you Barbra

Quiet, private, and spacious with beautiful views in the daytime and dark skies at night. My favorite place to stay in central NY — especially after a show at nearby Beak and Skiff. Barbara is a helpful and communicative host. Highly recommend!

I stayed here during the 2024 eclipse in my van. The location and star gazing were great. There's a well-stocked gas station–Pompey Mall–a few minutes away if you need anything. It was extremely private the first night as I was the only camper. The second night, there was a group of dispersed campers also on site–Barbara sent me a message letting me know–but I still felt private in my van. The field is medium-sized and open, so If I was also camping on the grounds, there was space to spread out. Something to note: the waypoints provided took me to the wrong location, but if you use the address and the directions from Barbara, the campsite is easy to find.
Excellent rural site with panoramic views. Large area cleared and mowed with 2 different spots (fire ring, stone circle) for campfires. Dark skies provide wonderful stargazing opportunities. Highly recommend.
