Jennifer and her farm animals definitely steal the show, she's a very nice person who we enjoyed talking with. I admire her for what she's doing there on the farm, and my experiences with her horses help justify the cost. However... Only stay here if you bring muck boots, bug spray, and you truly love roughing it off-grid. The site is deep woods, overgrown fields & woods to get there, thru the actual barnyard where there's unavoidable poop and mud everywhere. You're entrusted to operate McGuyver style gates for animal safety. No outside lights if you return after dark, and it's about a 5-7 min walk with slight elevation changes. I hate to say it but the front is an eyesore. I'm being brutally honest just to ensure you know what you'd be getting yourself in for. If we loved being this raw with nature, it'd be fine, and we did make the best of it, and Jennifer was indeed a gracious & helpful host.
