There have been some big changes at The Record Room! We have recently added a brand-new shower system and a new method for delivering water directly from the stream, so you'll never run out! We have also added two new speakers in the upstairs loft, improved the Hickory Ridge Suana, and many more improvements that you'll just have to see! This is the one. This is the experience that you'll remember for years to come. Welcome to The Record Room - Built directly from our hands and our hearts, The Record Room borders the fine line of camping and glamping, with a wood-fired cedar hot tub and outdoor shower that feeds off a small artesian creek, a sauna tucked within the trees, overlooking scenic ridge, and solar-powered vinyl that plays inside and out across a vast selection of vintage, classic, and current albums. Back to our small creek, there are plenty of quaint spots to dip your toes. The Monguap River is close enough to see and hear, and the Delaware River is just 2 miles up the road, with rafting, kayaking, and canoeing companies all along it. A queen Tempur-Pedic bed, as well as an overstuffed futon, will take care of you come nightfall. The outdoor kitchen is built for cooking some real food - a flat-top grill, a single burner, a stainless steel grate grill, cast-iron pans, and all utensils, all powered by propane. A wood stove inside will handle the chilly mornings and brisk nights. We have a pool table under a custom-built pavilion just for your enjoyment. And last but certainly not least, our outhouse, which is maintained by the women of our family. We also have a nearby waterfall, which is as close as a three-minute drive down the road. The Hawks Nest lookout is under 10 minutes away. We recommend downloading a trail finder app, as once you arrive here, there will be zero service or wifi. Since we only have one bed and one futon, only four individuals can sleep comfortably, but we also have a couple of spots for your friend circle to set up some tents. Our mission is to get people back into the life we feel so disconnected from nowadays, and we provide the space to be able to do so. We absolutely loved the Record Room! It was better than we expected. Loved that they made the whole set up with their own hands. We saw so much wildlife. Our 11 year old wanted to stay longer. Our two tiny dogs loved it. The hot tub and shower is a bonus!

We loved our time at the Record Room. It was an all around incredible experience despite several days of rainy weather. We had plenty to keep us busy, including the stellar record collection, cooking outside, a good collection of games, and the hot tub. The cabin and site are impeccably neat and intentionally designed, and have everything you could possibly need to enjoy the outdoors but be cozy. We so enjoyed traipsing through the mossy woods and exploring the surrounding area. We'll be back for sure!

The Record Room
My sweetheart and I had such an amazing time at The Record Room. We stayed for 3 nights and we wish we had one more! It was a cozy getaway that felt timeless. We loved setting the vibe with the records, dancing in the living room, and just enjoying some slow, peaceful days. It was cold when we went and one day was particularly rainy, but there is a lot to enjoy indoors and the fireplace kept us warm and cozy. One thing to note is that the wood provided is rather thin and burns fast. For this reason, heating the hot tub and keeping the indoor fireplace lit is a JOB! We had to add every 15 minutes or so. Our recommendation is to start early on the hot tub and bring some of your own logs as well - even better if they’re the big fire-starter ones. Overall it’s a special place. Masen and his family are great hosts and we hope to make it back again someday.

We stayed at the Record Room Cabin this past weekend and absolutely loved it! The hot tub with warm water and hot tub made for such a unique experience — truly unforgettable. The sense of privacy and peace was perfect, and the vinyl record collection was just incredible. There's even a magnificent pool table under a canopy with a view of the forest – a truly stunning sight. I agree with all the comments above. This is truly an amazing place! I really hope to come back again!

Masen was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. The Record Room was a cool place to stay and we really enjoyed it there. Yes, it takes some time to get the hot tub warm but just make a plan and make it happen cause it’s awesome! It was especially magical with a full supermoon lighting up the sky! A great little retreat with lots of hiking in the area, and pretty views. The property was fairly well equipped. The stream on the property was dried up from no rain, and though bummed, Mother Nature is in charge, so we readjusted our expectations. Just a little disappointing how quickly the power was gone from listening to records. We didn’t really need power but for that, with our constant campfire and our lanterns while we were on site, but we wanted wanted more music! Haha The collection is fun and diverse! Overall, the Record Room is a cool experience and I recommend it!

The Record Room
The Record Room is beyond cool! Think rustic but cozy! You get to sleep in a warm, cozy and comfortable bed while still being in the magic of the woods. There's an outdoor kitchen for fireside meals, a beautiful sauna just a short walk away, a hot tub run by natural spring water and more! You have books, games and a record player inside and a hammock outside. The cabin is run on solar so be sure to preserve your power! We discovered an amazing waterfall just a 3 minute drive away as well as got to see an amazing overlook just 5 minutes away! There's also a pool table on the property that you can use! Your phone will most likely be on SOS mode while staying at the cabin so be prepared with all that you need before arriving. Overall, Masen's HipCamp was such a cool experience and I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away and recharge your soul with the magic of this property!

My family had a great time at the record room! We enjoyed everything: the great outdoor kitchen set up, the record collection, adding on to the “fairy camp” in the woods, stargazing on the hammock etc etc. The cabin is so cozy and the loft bed was very comfortable. The pit toilet is well maintained. We really felt we had everything we needed! The hot tub wasn’t able to be used while we were there sadly but it looked very nice. Instead, we enjoyed the sauna which was incredible. It was like being at a nature spa! We would love to come back. Great experience for all (adults, kids and dogs)!

The Record Room
The record room is something truly magical that can only be explained by experiencing for yourself. It is the perfect spot to connect with nature without sacrificing our creature comforts. It was the perfect spot to camp with our two little girls, exploring the magical forest full of wonders, fairy houses and cool sculptures. The outdoor kitchen has everything you need to make delicious meals while watching the hummingbirds and butterflies sip from the surrounding wildflowers. I'd take it over a modern kitchen any day. We loved having dance parties in the cabin playing all the records and soaking in the hot cedar tub under the plentiful stars. Lots of great spots for fishing and hiking in the area. The cabin itself is super comfortable. We had one rainy day on our trip and honestly it was my favorite day. Listening to the raindrops on the tin roof with a fire going and a good book and a good record. The rain made the forest even more beautiful. Masen and his dad are great hosts, quick to answer any questions, Super friendly cool people who put a lot of thought into every little touch of this place. There was even a suprise pool table not on the listing! My only qualm is that we overpacked as they supply you with pretty much everything you would need, and that we had to leave. We cant wait to come back!

We loved staying on Mason's land. The cabin was perfect! Everything was perfect. The amazing hot tub, the privacy, the amazing record selection. The outdoor pool table was pretty awesome as well! Can't wait to go back ❤️

We had an incredible time and are already planning our next trip to the Record Room. From stargazing in the wood-fired hot tub to cooking in nature, all with the soundtrack of an excellent vinyl collection (or the wind in the trees!). We loved it so much, we accidentally stayed another night..

Fantastic experience
The Record Room
This is a wonderful place to stay The cabin is clean and well stocked with the items you may need The bed is comfy, the outdoor kitchen is great, the hot tub is amazing, the sauna is wonderful. The hummingbirds that visited daily were such a great surprise. Mason the host was great to work with. He was kind, respectful, helpful, and all around good guy. I will gladly recommend this place to others.

What an awesome space! The details around camp are so cool and we really appreciated the entire setup. The record theme is so much fun. We had a blast sorting through albums. The time flew as we took turns flipping records, heating the hot tub and stoking the fire pit. Wish we could have stayed longer and already hoping to return. Definitely take advantage of the unlimited wood addition!

Masen was a great host. Place was clean and very well kept. We enjoyed listing to the records , making fire and going in hot tub ! Kids loved every part. 5 minutes away you can find great water fall to hang at while hiking along the magaup river . Delaware River access point 5 mins away . Overall I would highly recommend this place ! Thanks for a great trip.

We loved the privacy but also the proximity to so many activities. Masen was responsive and great. The land is beautiful and the cabin is well thought out and cute. We hope to be back again! Special things to note: the outdoor kitchen is great, make sure that the propane is full. If you want to use the wood fired hot tub, make sure it's filled to the brim as it leaks a bit. It takes a lot of wood and several hours to heat up to a nice temperature. Riverside Creamery in Port Jervis is delicious!

The property is adorable and has exactly everything you need for a weekend away. Masen is very welcoming and showed us how everything works and responded to additional questions very quickly. The wood fired hot tub is amazing you simply have to get the unlimited firewood bundle. The tiki torch package is also super worth it. Placing them all around the site just makes the campsite 10X cozier. The record selection was also fantastic and we had so much fun listening inside and outside. My dog also loved it and said it gets 5 stars from him. 10/10 would stay again.

Glamping at its finest!

Masen's property was an amazing place to stay. The cabin is just perfect -- impressive craftsmanship, great use of space, and cozy enough for our family of 5. The records were fantastic, and porch speakers let you hear the music outside. The hot tub was so much fun to use (definitely get the firewood package when you book). The kids loved exploring the property, searching for fairy houses (and building some of their own). The outhouse was adorable! My kids hate using pit toilets but had no issues with this outhouse - it was lovely inside. Masen was a wonderful host, and provided everything we needed (water, fire starters, torches). We will be back!

Perfect for Nature & Music Lovers

From NOFX to Lynyrd Skynyrd, listening to all of the albums on the record player was a dream! While we did go on an excursion to the Catskills, we could have stayed and enjoyed ourselves foreverrrr. Not only does the nature and cabin provide the most amazing backdrop for a getaway, but the Rio Dam, Hawks Nest Lookout, and Point Jarvis attractions are minutes away! Our two dogs LOVED the privacy of the spot, and we loved the outdoor kitchen, hot tub, and that bed was soooooo comfy! With the added perks of endless firewood and tiki lights, our stay on Masen's land was truly magical! Thank you for taking such good care of us!!

The Record Room
My partner and I came to the Record Room to celebrate my graduation and our 2 year anniversary and we never wanted to leave. Masen and his family have created a very special place. We listened to music nonstop, poked around the surrounding woods, and soaked in the wood fire hot tub. It was truly the perfect place to celebrate and unplug for the weekend!

The cabin was very cozy well-made and interesting to look at. The record collection included a lot of classic rock, classical jazz all the way to modern hip-hop. The wood powered hot tub took a little bit to get going, but was a highlight. There’s plenty of beautiful sites nearby to see but the land it’s on was so beautiful. There was really no need to leave. Only con for me was no shower but we were able to wash up using the water from the hot tub (which is drained and refilled for each guest)

This was by far the best camping trip I have been on. I’ve done it all from backpacking to glamping and this was perfectly in the middle. A perfect spot for my 16 month olds first trip to the woods. The cabin and surrounding spaces were so beautiful and all the details were mind blowing. You can tell it is all hand built. The kitchen was such a great touch and my favorite part. It is nicely secluded and the hosts were so friendly. We actually wish we saw them more because they were so awesome! We got in on a chilly rainy day and Masen had the fire inside and the tub filled and warming up for us already. Very thoughtful and caring about their guests. We couldn’t have asked for more honestly. I cannot wait to come back. Thank you for your hospitality Raymonds.
