On our property, you'll find frogs, turtles, oak trees, pine trees and stunning views of Yosemite. We have several campsites to choose from including RV camping, tent camping, and a glamping tent. Beautiful Pine Mountain Lake offers golfing, dining, horseback riding, water sports and an airport. When you come to the ranch it feels like you are hundreds of miles away from civilization, but still close to everything you need. It is incredibly peaceful! This is a great place for someone who wants to escape city life and enjoy the tranquillity of nature. Much of the ranch is open wilderness for you to explore, and it's not uncommon to see deer, frogs, turtles, quail, turkeys, or other countless species of birds. Diamond Gulch Camp is the perfect place to relax if you’re a photographer, artist, family or a group of friends looking for a place to camp near Yosemite. A small portion of the property was used as a gold mine years ago, and you may find remnants of old home sites if you go exploring. We're not far from Wards Ferry Road, Groveland, Lake Don Pedro and other interesting places.

Bridgeport Reservoir is a lake at the lower end of Bridgeport Valley in Mono County, California. Its earth-filled dam was constructed in 1923 by the Walker River Irrigation District, along the East Walker River. The campground and marina was built I-don't-know-how-long ago, but it sure is nice! About Us: Welcome to Bridgeport Reservoir Marina and Campground. Join us for the classic camping and fishing experience with unique views of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Within the Toiyabe National Forest, Bridgeport Reservoir Marina and Campground is conveniently located near two distinct hot spring areas. A true angler's paradise, the Reservoir has excellent trout fishing from spring through fall and is close by to multiple rivers for incredible fly fishing. A 35 minute drive on highway 120 will take you to the Tioga Pass Gate of Yosemite National Park. This gate is a great start to several different areas inside of the park that you may want to visit beyond that gate. Off-road enthusiasts would not have enough time in one visit to explore all of the 4x4 trails, abandoned mines, and sites in the area as well as the famous trail that brings you right to the Bodie Ghost Town. Climate and Ecosystem: At 6,400 feet (1,950 meters), this high desert climate has little to moderate tree coverage and gets hot during the days and cool at night. The conditions are much like Joshua Tree National Park or Alabama Hills camping area. During your visit, you will notice many flying insects that resemble mosquitos. These Chironomid are harmless and do not bite. On the contrary, the mosquito presence is very minimal. Swimming in the lake is possible usually between April to July.

We are a small privately owned campground ( on the outskirts of Placerville. The property features 86.5 secluded Tahoe like acres with beautiful year-round Weber Creek. The camp sites are placed along the creek or the bluff overlooking the creek. We have traditional dirt camping, canvas tents on platforms, teepees and glamping tents for those that want the comforts of home. We are tent camping only with only one site that allows a small travel trailer or van. (#14) . We are dog friendly and allow dogs in all but 5 glamping sites. We do enforce camp rules especially our quiet time between 10 PM and 7 AM We’ve been told that we have a “family camp” vibe. We are a great place for families wanting a safe environment for their kids but also several group sites for those that want to hang out together with multiple families. We are also a great base site for those wilderness enthusiasts with access to all the El Dorado National Forest including Desolation but want a hot shower at the end of the day. We have a lodge that is stocked with games and a ping pong table. The lodge has a microwave, Keurig machine and a hot water kettle for those hot drinks (BYO Cups).We have several tables set up for those that want to eat inside as well as multiple picnic tables along the side of the lodge with overhead protection. We have electricity at the at the lodge for small appliances and charging phones. We have a compressor on site to blow up your air mattresses or float toys. We’ve been told that our bathrooms are the “cleanest” ever and have changing tables and diaper pails. We offer nice flushing toilets and hot showers! We have many extra amenities including a compressor to use for your air mattresses, For outdoor activities we have basketball, volleyball, pickleball and cornhole not to mention the playground with swing set . We have hiking trails throughout the property. Our highlight is a camp fire bowl with bench seating with a stage to display camper talent which is perfect for the evening fire and roasting s’mores (bring the fixings). The creek starts out in spring looking like a rushing river featuring many fishing and swimming holes. As the summer progresses the water level falls but is still great for water play and fishing. We have propane BBQs (we provide the propane for BBQs) located throughout the property. We also have a propane grill and charcoal BBQ located in the common area for all to use. There is a dutch oven pit also in the fire bowl area. We do not allow wood fires at the individual sites but each site has a propane firepit for ambiance (not cooking) that requires you to purchase a 20 lb. propane cannister on site (add in extras) or pay cash on site. No internet service. There is limited internet only available for purchases at the setore. We require a 3 night minimum for the major holidays - Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. We do exclusive events so you may need to explore multiple weekends to find the right reservation. We are located in the foothills so we are a short hop to many local attractions that include river rafting, gold mines, wineries and historical towns with great eating establishments. Tahoe is less than an hour away and there a many hiking trails within 20-30 minutes. We have a limited number of items to rent i.e, tents, cots, camp stoves, etc. We rent a battery pack for those that use a cpap. We also have a small store on site for those items you forgot and a good selection of ice cream and ice. We take venmo or cash.

Located within 45 minutes of the wine country and 2 miles from the coast, our property is 400 acres of rolling hills and redwood groves, with a creek running along its base. With miles of trails meandering through quiet woods and meadows, you will be able to revel in the tranquility of a private preserve, without sacrificing easy access to some of Sonoma County's most famous attractions. A hundred years ago, this land was used to graze sheep. Remnants of the old fence lines can still be seen in places, along with old cement troughs. Since then, the land has been left to its own devices, passing through many hands, most famously owned by two brothers in the 1980's who built a truly amazing tree house in the forest which has been featured in several magazine articles. It was revamped and updated in 2016 by a master craftsman, using fallen redwood logs found on the property and is now a unique structural work of art, available for overnight stays. We produce 100% grass fed, dry-aged beef on our certified organic pastures and have a store on site if you would like to purchase delicious steaks, ribs, ground beef for hamburgers or some roasts to take home. Our cattle graze on the native grasses, never grain, and drink only water produced from our own springs. We also raise Kiko meat goats and produce pastured, certified organic duck eggs on a commercial basis. Whether it's surfing at sandy beaches, award-winning clam chowder, a wine tour, horseback riding or a hot air balloon ride you're after, you won't have far to drive if you make our ranch your base camp. You may see a family of deer appear suddenly, or a few Scottish Highland cows which we allow to roam freely over the property. There are over twenty species of wild birds that grace this protected spot, so bring your binoculars! A portion of your fee goes towards protecting native flora and fauna as part of our private wildlife preservation program. A limited number of private, widely spaced camp spots are available for visitors. The Eagles' Nest Treehouse (mentioned above) is very isolated and you may or may not even be aware that there are other people within miles of you. For those who value nature, seclusion, quiet and the artistry of old growth redwood, this is the place for you.

Weekend Trip to Camp Nauvoo

The campground was scenic and well kept. Our site felt the most private with the exception of the OA trail that goes thought the side of it. Though no one came through while we were there. It was not too close to the creek. We had never stayed in cots and my teen said the padded cots were very comfortable. I would recommend bringing more padding or renting it for the bunk beds. In early July the weather was supposed to be in the 90’s, however due to all of the tree covering it felt in the 70’s which was a bit of a bummer because it did not feel hot enough to jump in the beautiful water holes. Our family enjoyed the pickle ball, volley ball courts and ping pong. They had a variety of games, we borrowed Uno and Spot it.

2 nights at Camp Nauvoo

2nd year in a row coming to Camp Nauvoo. In simple terms Greg is a good guy and takes care of his camp. The grounds keepers are super helpful and nice as well. We always have a good time. We stayed at the farthest tent ontop of a hill, it was by choice lol but probably won’t do that again. Too far from everything. Overall we had a great time with our toddlers ages 3 and 5.

We loved staying at Guido & Emily's property! They are very nice and friendly hosts. The Badger's Den was a perfect addition to our trip, the private sauna, cold plunge and the camp fire made for a very relaxing night! They also had a very adorable dog Jack and cute cats, all of them friendly to pet. Would definitely recommend!

We tried a glamping tent first, which was great. We came back and stayed in a walk-in tent site what was amazing! Highly recommended! We will be back again. Sites are private, bathrooms are cleaned regularly, showers are hot. There is a pool and the view is amazing! Duraflame campfires allowed, but no wood.

This is by far one of the most magical and memorable nights on our trip. What Yeyen and Farbod have done together is nothing short of remarkable! Creating a hillside where both privacy or human connection are paramount - and people can camp so comfortably, either in a tent or in a cob cabin nestled into the side of the slope. The attention to detail and craftsmanship of the facilities is astounding. And the owners are lovely and generous. Here, the Gods must be happy!

Gene’s property is so incredible! We loved dipping in the creek and the short walk to the beach which seemed really private, and the communal kitchen and the shower area really stood out to us. The cabana felt private and tucked away which I really enjoyed, there were several other groups around during our stay but it never felt crowded and we had no problems using the listed amenities. I thought I’d be comfortable using the composting toilets but now I know for the future it’s not something that is very easy for me, we ended up visiting the bathroom on the beach a lot so I’m glad that’s an option. The cabana isn’t screened in so we had a lot of insect visitors, definitely something to note if you’re not comfortable with spiders and bugs! The bed was pretty comfortable and there’s a hammock right next to the cabana that was nice to lay in. I was really happy with our stay overall, Gene and his family we’re so sweet and helpful if you have any questions, but generally left us alone and we only saw them a few times during our stay. I’d love to come back another time! It was really romantic, I’d try tent camping next time with a larger group.

This is such a special place. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The cabin is so cozy with great touches like a cool private little kitchen, and fun lights, heater, nice mattress. The property is also amazing with beautiful trees, orchard and easy to understand signage. Host was friendly and so helpful. Would stay here again!!

It was the perfect getaway with our small family being surrounded by nature and animals. We purchased eggs and beef from their little farm shop which we highly recommend.

The redwood retreat cabin is amazing! It’s a beautifully built house with all the details you want and need, great set up for kids and the kitchen has everything you need. Even has yoga mat and massage mat and the setting is to die for. You can’t hate doing dishes with a view like that. Thank you for everything Nate!

I loved my stay at the glabin! It's private, well-equipped, beds are very comfortable, and the views are stunning (especially sunrise.) Jim and Jenny do such a great job ensuring you have everything you need, from a clean outhouse, to a dog water bowl, to a fresh garbage bin, to a water jug. I can't wait to come back!

Maya and Patrick were awesome hosts! The RV was prepped with all the essentials, they stopped in to make sure we had everything we needed and it was smooth checking in and out. The campgrounds were super family friendly, with the fun amenities, like the game room and miniature golf, the kids always had something to do. On top of that the nearby scenery was beautiful and allowed for them to partake in nature adventuring while the wife and I kicked back. Bonus was the dog run which the pups really enjoyed! Awesome spot, we'll be back!

Wonderfully maintained. Beautiful gardens and space to explore. Clean kitchen area with everything you need. Clean bathrooms and cabins. Quiet peaceful vibe but not overly/oppressively so. Hosts were gracious and accommodating.

We loved our stay at Baby Banana Slug Farm! Cute little Sunset Cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The water was piping hot in the shower and the bed was soft and cozy. The drive to Mendocino was not bad, and fun to explore. Highly recommend!
