Magical hidden gem ✨

Very private and lovely, nestled between mountains just outside San Diego. Star gazing was AMAZING and many thoughtful amenities were available in this spacious outdoor kitchen. We grilled a fantastic dinner on the propane grill provided, had everything needed! Fridge, very cold freezer, ice in the freezer a griddle, two hot plates, tea kettle and toaster oven. Our host was so gracious and generous, she is a San Diego native, her family has been a pillar in the San Diego community since the 1800s, so rare to meet someone so knowledgeable about the area. The trees, flowers, butterflies and one cute little lizard made this campsite magical. Bathroom and shower was immaculate. The entire area is a work of art and cared for by our musician host. We were so lucky to find this place!

“Glamping” at its very best!

A lovely little (air-conditioned!) cabin on some beautiful creekside property nestled in nature—with a comfy bed. If you want to get away from the city and spend a night in nature without wrestling with a tent or forgoing plumbing, I highly recommend this spot! (There is access to a surprisingly well appointed—and chic—bathroom with a spacious shower. Also a quaint outdoor kitchen area with refrigerators.) Host Laura could not have been friendlier. My only suggestion would be a little more outdoor lighting in the public areas. But this is a beautiful location I would go to again.

Really sweet little spot lots of cute touches Laura is communicative and her space is cozy and accommodating.. really appreciate the outdoor communal kitchen love that bathroom has shower and each camp has its own table and chairs. the night lights are a nice touch besides some flashing… i might add a hammock to the waterfall site but all in all great setup… def gets hot in morning and full sun in parking area but afternoon plenty of shade and umbrella helps take care of morning. if you want morning shade on tent maybe bring easy up !

Let me say it was more than I expected it was so amazingly peaceful, just what we wanted a little get away from the city to the peaceful country feel. The honeycomb cabin was perfect cozy and along by the creek. I could go on I highly recommend it!

Canyon Creek is a lovely little getaway and has wonderful amenities. We normally like to camp in areas further displaced from society, but as we camped with our newborn, this was an optimal experience.

Hidden Spot.

It’s not what I expected but it was perfect for a father and son getaway. You can see so much wildlife on that little spot, sea the stars, hear the frogs croak all night. The host was amazing and so friendly toward my dog. Even gave her milkbones to go. They made us feel welcomed and found us parking in the middle of the night. Their kitchen is clean at all times and the shower hit the spot after non stop sweaty activities. Thank you.

We loved staying in the Honeycomb Cabin! Simple and clean. Exactly what we needed. Only half an hour to downtown and beaches. The bathroom and outdoor kitchen were a nice touch. Directions to the property easy to follow. Such a great plot of land.

Glamping with an ease 👍🏻

Laura was very accommodating. The place is very nice, almost like where fairies live😅 you can hear the nature, and some cars though we didn’t mind, we just wanted to get out of the city for a bit. We stayed at the cabin, it’s very cute and very comfy, I enjoyed the time we where there. I would book it again for sure🫶🏼

Little creek oasis✨

This was a little piece of paradise! We really enjoyed our stay here. The spot was spacious and we enjoyed using the outdoor kitchen & eating dinner as the sunset! We got to see hummingbirds, butterflies, and the frogs croaking at night was the cherry on top! Bathroom was clean and easy to find. We were greeted by the co-hosts that were sweet and informative! A great escape from the city, will be back.

I had the most beautiful experience here. Perfect cozy spot and feels like you’re in a fairy portal. Grateful for Laura and all the greatness this space has to offer. From the space as a whole, to the outdoor kitchen & nice bathroom and shower. Felt cozy and safe here with the frogs singing us to sleep. Truly is a gem!

Beautiful spot! We stayed at the waterfall campsite with our three fur babies. We had a lovely time. The restroom with hot shower and the kitchen area are awesome. Definitely recommend.

Lovely spot, met two super kind ladies there who were camping right beside us. Nice restroom (with a shower!) and cute outdoor kitchen. Laura is lovely as well! Very welcoming. Will be coming back if we’re in the area again! Frogs can be a bit loud this time of year (I enjoy it personally, it’s relaxing to me), but if you’re the type that sounds keep you up, just bring some earplugs - otherwise, very lovely!!!!

Great property with an amazing outdoor kitchen...my favorite part. Nice clean bathroom with a shower, plenty of kitchen amenities, 2 hammocks. I relaxed at the table by the creek and read, journaled, had my coffee.

A quick overnight!

Despite it being tucked away, it was easy to find based on the excellent instructions and a big sign at the head of the driveway. Getting onto the property was a bit tight, but once inside there was plenty of room for my 21-foot van. I was greeted by the host even though I was late due to traffic. She was friendly and helpful. I loved the creek and little patio area. There were lots of bullfrogs croaking which made me feel like I was in the country.

Loved!!!

I don’t often write reviews, but I had SUCH an amazing stay here. I arrived at about 3pm, Laura was outside and welcomed me in and showed me where to park. The cabin was great, very comfortable and cozy. I read my book on the hammock and then used the fire pit area which worked great! The bathroom was also very nice and looked to be newly renovated. Frogs started to chirp around dusk and I fell asleep to the sounds of nature. I would highly recommend booking this little cabin! As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe and relaxed throughout my stay. It was perfect and so peaceful. An experience within a stay. Thank you for having me!
