Welcome to Camp Arroyo Grande! Enjoy our 29-acres that feature beautiful ocean views, oak woodlands, and plenty of rustic charm. All this is conveniently tucked into the hillside just steps away from the Village of Arroyo Grande where you will find restaurants, coffee, shopping, parks and roosters. The property is home to many youth groups and local non-profits, continuing a 135-year legacy as a Community Center and Retreat Space. The historic Tabernacle building has been hosting church and schools gatherings, dinners, fundraisers, weddings, family reunions, festivals and more since 1897. Community Events are likely to be taking place but follow quiet time guidelines. *pool is seasonal and subject to availability

Open Space/Tent/Camper Van
Peaceful, quiet, easy check in and out. Convenient to town and the beach yet off the beaten path.

Open Space/Tent/Camper Van
Nice facilities, good proximity, nice staff, owl and hawk in trees. More established tent sites would be good addition. N

Great boondocking experience.
Very quiet and peaceful, late at night, the manager of the property was very nice and answers any questions you may have promptly. Spiders and ants were an issue, but not so much that I couldn't deal with it, the camp spot is a little dusty with all the vehicles driving though in the morning mostly, but a lot of other camp locations are far worse, and the pool is a very nice little perk which I have only seen before in the very pricey locations, showers are hot and clean, and come with your camp spot at no extra cost, which is very nice. Over all this place is one of, if not the best you can get for that type of camping situation. Thank you for the experience. I'll be back for sure.

The cottage needs few repairs, the AC doesn’t work and you can only get comfortable at night when it cools down. One bathroom door handle falls off and the shower leaks to the side of the wall towards the sink. There’s no fire pit for the bonfire. We were unable to use the pool due to swimming classes in the afternoon. Will come back but not to use this cottage anymore.

Great location and facilities. We camped right before Labor Day weekend and were the only ones there. We didn’t get any practical info when checking in and at first didn’t know about all the facilities that we could use, pool hours etc., but most importantly about the new bathrooms up the hill. The ones right next to the campground are run down but clean. The ones up the hill are new and sparkling clean. Friendly staff. Would def stay again!

Camping, but elevated!
We stayed at the Pruett Cabin for three nights mid-week (T-F) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the camp. The grounds are lovely and well kept. The swimming pool was immaculately clean, as were the bathrooms, with plenty of hot water. The self check in was great/ easy, and reminded me of a self check in at an Airbnb. Staff was available if anything was needed, but we were left alone. We only used one of the beds in the cabin, but the mattress was very firm and comfortable. Arroyo Grande is a great central location to explore the Central Coast. We'll be back!
