Thanks to the micro climate we have here, we grow some of the best fruit in the country. The coastal canyon is just a short distance to the beach and 15 minutes into town but feels like a world away when you are here. The star gazing is incredible as the canyon walls block the light pollution and the milky way shines! Welcome to our little slice of 10 acre heaven in the Canyon! Just bring yourself and we have everything else!! Nestle up in the Cozy Gnome Home, a 1967 vintage trailer and listen to the symphony of frogs in the creek just outside your window. With love and labor... we gutted, redesigned and restored this little trailer for the ultimate functioning space for two. Nice little kitchen with copper counters and everything you need for cooking and dining. A Berkey filter for clean water, hardwood floors and a comfy bed complete with organic mattress, down comforter and cotton sheets. Fold out dining table if you care to (or need to) eat indoors. There is also an outdoor kitchen space with a sink (no hot water), gas grill, propane burner (bring your own small canister) and a patio table and chairs. We have a charcoal grill available too. The creek runs mostly year round so feel free to get your feet wet on a hot sunny day. We also have an outdoor warm shower and sink as well as a hot water kitchen sink that you can share with other campers. You are welcome to cruise the property and check out the chickens, ducks and horses. We have three dogs on the ranch, a deaf and incredibly sweet pitbull ( he is a food thief so store food and garbage as though raccoons were a problem), a curious and playful ranch dog Pluto (who will be your tour guide) and a Boston Bulldogge, Astrid. We are surrounded by orchards which have some of the best apples and pears in the country. Seasonally you can stop by many apple markets and do a tasting. We also have a lively wine tasting venue less than a mile away. Avila Beach is a short 4 miles away and we are happy to share bikes if we have them available but can't guarantee any. Our location is a bikers' dream as the 13 mile scenic road takes you all the way into SLO. Our 42 acres is located at the beginning of the award winning Adelaide Wine trail in Paso Robles. Our ranch was once home to a horse boarding and breeding ranch which bred Paso Fino horses, known for their beautiful gait. Having been a horse ranch, it left us with some nice trails that you can enjoy during your stay. We have some nice uphill walks to view your local surroundings while sitting to enjoy a glass of wine or you morning cup of coffee/tea. We are on a well out here so at times you may get a sulphur/mineral smell to the water. Please bring your own drinking/cooking water. It is safe to shower, my hair feels so much thicker! On the ranch you will see that we have 2 donkeys, Desi (black) and Lucy (light grey). Along with our donkeys we have to friendly goats, Fiona (brown) and Sadie (white), they love carrots. but please stick to one carrot a day each, we don't want to over feed them. We also have chickens which means have farm fresh eggs. $5 for 1/2 dozen. Up on the hill you will see Connie a cow and her buddy Samuel, the bull. they love carrots but please do not go into their pasture. She'll think you're bringing food and gets very dangerously excited. Please feel free to walk the property and become one with nature while observing the local indigenous floral and fauna.

Barbara and Dan bought these 37 acres in 2005. It had no improvements. The only thing it had going for it was a 250-year-old oak tree, and its location in the heart of wine country. We would come up and camp under the tree, and plant. In 2007, we drilled a well. In 2008, Dan proposed under the tree, and we brought in power. We have continued to make improvements since. We built a little house, then we built a big house, we added farm animals, kids, fruit trees, a jam line, a pond, and more keep coming! So come up and enjoy the farm like we did in the good old days! See you at the Farm! Pitch your tent or park your RV on our 37-acre farm. The campground connects to a hiking trail that takes you to a 2-acre landscaped garden, along a dry creekside. (The weather prevented us from experiencing that and so much more but it’s easy to build a great trip when staying at Megan’s place.) Weekend Trip to Rancho Rio Del Sol: Paso Robles, CA

The dream catcher exceed my expectations and was so cute and cozy, had a lot of extra amenities such as a propane fire pit, hot running water and a flushable toilet and the host so graciously provided towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash and a hair dryer! The setting itself is so beautiful and has an amazing view. The “kitchen” provided has a few things but I would recommend bringing your own equipment for cooking. Lastly, the bed is very firm and unfortunately we were unable to sleep well on it at all, we used some of the outdoor chair cushions to add some extra comfort to it which helped us sleep better the second night but if you aren’t used to an extra firm mattress I would recommend bringing some extra cushion/padding. I would definitely go back again despite this as we had a lovely time. We were lucky enough to have the property to ourselves that weekend so our experience was very private but would just like to mention that the dream catcher site is located between the two other main camping sites on this property. Otherwise this place was super cool and definitely a neat find!

2 nights at The Rock Loft

Such a cute and cozy loft! It was bigger than we expected and it was great that they had all the amenities! The outdoor is super cute and it was great that they had BBQ. The host also made sure we had enough pellets to keep warm throughout the night. Loved how it was dog friendly, though I didnt think it would be best off leash.... We were able to walk to nearby winery, chill, enjoy nature and eat good food. High recommend this stay!

Kenneth's property was absolutely gorgeous! It is so quiet, so peaceful and relaxing. We stayed at the beginning of November and the weather was perfect. A little chilly at night but not too bad. You can see all the stars in the sky. It was so nice to be away from all the noise of the city. We definitely will be going back!

We had a fantastic time at vinyl vinyards. It was not only beautiful but it had everything we needed. There was only one thing that might have enhanced our stay. Our host let us know in advance that there was a heater in the camper but we couldn't get it to work. Other than that, we really enjoyed it! Would love to go back!

What an excellent, relaxing way to get away! Everything we needed was pretty much provided and the bedding was substantial and comfy. We had a thunderstorm hit and even that was a nice experience. A great way to experience mother nature firsthand! We never got wet or were uncomfortable in any way. A hot soak in the tub with my sweetie while stargazing was the trips fav! If you are particular about your cookware, I would bring a good pan and maybe a knife but other than that everything was peaceful. All the wineries around was a plus also!

I originally booked the Dream Catcher, but due to repairs, Laura kindly upgraded us to the Tiny Home! A kind host, they would answer my every Q and offer if we needed anything extra like more charcoal to grill. Upon walking in, you will be blown away 😍 A cozy, vintage & artistic gem, lots of unique decor 🌱 We spun some vinyl, danced under the dimmed lighting, enjoyed homemade meals on the patio, stargazed 🌌 and took in those sunrise views 🌄 It did get a bit chilly at night, but the space heater worked well and the bed was very comfy 😌 WiFi was also steady for streaming movies. Now, the stairs to the sleeping loft / reading nook are steep & narrow — so it can be tricky for those with mobility or body-size considerations. Also, the hot water lasted about 5 minutes before turning lukewarm — just something to be aware of. On the other hand, really appreciated the cleaning supplies & disinfectant sprays that were provided 🧽 All in all, this is truly an ideal stay. From being only 15 minutes away from the world-famous Sensorio Light Exhibit, to then beautiful drives towards the coast, this made for a wonderful getaway. We hope to be able to return down the line 🥰

Kenney and Sarah are amazing hosts! They made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The first night I was the only camper, but I still felt completely safe the whole time. The property is so beautiful ,peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature with open skies and fresh air. Such a cool place and idea. It was absolutely worth every penny. It’s so quiet and peaceful, and the view was so expansive. Some of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve seen. The stars were also unbelievable. The hospitality was fantastic. They provide you with everything. Running water for showers and a sink. An outdoor toilet. I would recommend bringing extra toilet paper, but that’s about it. Will absolutely be coming back.

We had a wonderful stay at Enney’s Ranch! Kenney was super nice and incredibly accommodating—he gave us clear directions, met us when we arrived, and made sure we had everything we needed, even providing an extra sleeping bag and a cot as well as small necessities like wine openers and a couple beers. The campsite itself is beautiful, with plenty of open space to walk around and take in the stunning views. Perfect for a peaceful getaway and some unforgettable stargazing. Highly recommend!

Kenney & his wife Sharon are the real deal. Kenney has built his home on this land, ranches cattle and grows grain on his velvety hills. They handed me a glass of wine and took me on the side by side up to the top of the property line to see the sunset. Their respect and love for the land is deep. The highlight amenity for me was the views and the large troft tub. I soaked in it under the stars. I was a bit worried about coyotes at night and did hear some critters around the campsite at night but I was all good!

Oh gosh what a great experience at Enny's Ranch! We were at the Blue Bonnet Ridge site but I think all of them were set up in a similar way. Kenny provides everything - lovely tent with made up bed, cooking and eating utensils, propane and coal, even towels and TP. And the HOT SHOWER is spectacular! But the thing that hit us first up was the quiet. The sites are spaced out so you can barely or see or hear each other. It was a perfect way for us to slow down and just chill for two days. The location is very convenient, smack in the middle of the wine trail and just 20 mins from downtown Paso Robles. Dog friendly too! We'll definitely be back!
