My partner and I had an unforgettable stay at this gem just outside of Paso Robles. The views were absolutely stunning — golden hills stretching for miles, and breathtaking sunsets every night. The campsite itself was immaculate: super clean, thoughtfully maintained, and had everything we needed. We were especially impressed by the bathrooms — modern, private, and spotless, which is rare for a camping spot!
Best of all, we had the entire site to ourselves, which made the experience feel even more peaceful and personal. It truly felt like our own private escape. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!

Seriously this place was magical. The drive in was lovely. Driving on back roads through vineyards and oaks and rolling hills was lovely. The space for camping is amazing. Hundreds of lupins greeted us on the top property. Because we came in early May we stayed at the top which has almost 360 views. But I can see how staying on the lower property in the hot months would be good. Bathroom was clean and just awesome to have. Hosts were super helpful. I’d love to come again.

We loved staying on Ron and Lauren’s land. It was fairly easy to find and they were very communicative the day before our stay with extra instruction. This spot overlooks a beautiful valley and was amazing during Spring. Bathroom was a nice amenity and there was lots of space to have separation from other campers. Overall a great stay!

What a beautiful location! Lauren meet us at the site and was very kind. There were not individual campsites per se but a large area where we were able to pick our own spot. The views were beautiful. I highly recommend.

Ron and Lauren were so accommodating and welcoming and their property it such a hidden gem! The bathrooms were great, the land was well kept and there was nothing but nature to soak up. Will definitely be returning!

The view is incredible and it was so peaceful and quiet. Our morning cup of coffee we enjoyed just staring out over the hills as they changed colors with the rising sun. It’s a great spot for either zipping around town and enjoying local restaurants and winery’s and going back to sleep under the stars. Or simply staying put and enjoying time away from it all.
There are flush toilets but no showers. If you have something, there’s plenty of spots in the trees to set something up. The road up would be difficult during wet times of the year for non 4 wheel drive. We didn’t have any service getting to them from the hwy so make sure you plan your route accordingly. It’s a great place for a large multi generational family to camp out. Or a group of friends. It’s large but not really separate. I’m definitely coming back with my grown kids! Space for several tents or trucks.

Nature, views, seclusion and stone landscape design… all these in spades!
Several negatives however. No mention of winding, slightly steep dirt road to the top of the hill campsite. A loaded 25 ft or longer towable may require 4WD. Unclean bathrooms with no toilet paper (nicely appointed however). Small amounts of trash scattered about the site. These just seemed incongruous with such a wonderfully designed camp area and the asking price.

A lovely, easy place to camp for a locals’ one night getaway. The fact that our dog could be off leash was such a treat and joy for all of us. Hosts were very accommodating. Bathrooms just made life a bit easier, too. We also had the place to ourselves so we got lucky with the privacy factor. We’d like to come back sometime.

This is a magical spot high up on Vineyard Drive. We had a lovely welcome from Lauren and her delightful family, and then we were left to ourselves to enjoy the peace and the near 360 degree views of wine country. The space is immaculately kept, and would be comfortable for all four advertised spaces, but we were lucky enough to have the place almost to ourselves. The restrooms are spacious and well designed, as befits a venue which is also host to weddings and celebrations. We couldn't tear ourselves away after the one night we planned, and booked a second, cooking our supper and enjoying Californian wine in peace under the stars.

We had a great stay here. Location is quiet, with great views and ample stargazing opportunities. It is close to numerous wineries and downtown Paso. Nice amenities including bathroom, a gazebo area for lounging and stone walled terraces throughout. Some walking trails nearby as well. It feels private, even with other campers on the property. Hosts were easy to communicate with and friendly. Would definitely book this again!

Beautiful location. Quiet and secluded. Surrounded by a dense forrest of old oaks Great privacy, good bathrooms. Absolutely charming hosts. Very flat areas for camper van. Because the campsite is secluded, it is only accessible through a dirt road.
