One of the buildings is there as a demonstration site till its done and we'll have the cob builder to be there to show you around. Cob working party is held by a master cob builder. We made your Camping and Glamping experience easy. We provide clean showers, restrooms, toilet paper, paper towels, barbecue, fridge, freezer, popcorn kettles, , utensils, plates, bowls, mugs, coffee maker, pots and pans, cutleries, etc. Yes, there is hot water as well with no coins needed. The campground is located in a serene oak grove area of the property. Its a peaceful getaway with an abundance of bird varieties and occasional wild turkeys passing through. We are a 5 acre property and home surrounded by tall redwood and oak trees. Very green and lots of shade. These are the amenities/facilities you will have free access to: Pool, Pool chairs and umbrellas, Deck area with sunset view, trampolines (kids only), and hammocks. Our check in window is strict: 3-6pm. Only later check in is allowed if discussed previously with host. There is no cooking allowed by or at any of the common areas due to flies and critters. Cooking and eating is only allowed by your sites and not in any common areas: Hammocks, Trampolines, Pool Area, tables, sink, and deck please follow this rule because we want to prevent our shared areas to be fly and bug infested. We are still working on ridding the flies and cleaning. (please try to bring prepackaged food or something easy. If anything you can drive 10 minutes to nearby food and grocery). THERE IS A 2-3 MINUTE HIKE TO THE CAMPSITES 1-5! Poolside campsites are closer to the parking and are bigger. This property is my home that I live in with my 2 kids. It is a rustic and homey vibe, definitely not a hotel. We want you to come knowing what to expect. Our property offers a pool and trampolines for the kids. We have a deck patio area that overlooks an amazing view of the redwood forest. Most of our guests are those that come from foreign countries and they all LOVE the property. I love leaving a great impression of our area. CABINS Solstice and Sunrise cabins recently re-built cabins have one queen bed and two twin beds (max 4 ppl) and are located near a shared communal bathhouses. Sunset village cabins have access to a bathhouse with designated full baths with private shower and bathroom for each cabin. Each cabin has power and one queen bed and two twin beds (max 4 ppl) Like tent camping without the hassle of having to set up a tent. You bring your sleeping bag, bedding and towels. Or we can provide you with a bedding/towel pack for an extra cost. POWER All cabins and bathhouses have power Wi-Fi Free wi-fi in central camp not at cabins. FOOD and DRINK 2024 Glamping Includes breakfast. Lunch and Dinner optional at an additional cost. ACTIVITIES Self guided activities include: Pool, pool deck, basketball half court, tennis courts, yard games, hiking trails and many areas to connect to nature. Guided activities: Hosted campfire nightly, Yoga, Archery and Tie Dye sessions available on Saturday. (holiday weekends additional sessions available) FIRE No individual fires. We do offer hosted campfires nightly. DOG Two dogs are welcome per cabin $50 per dog. MUSIC No speakers, amplification or radios. Acoustic instruments are allowed. RESERVATIONS Glamping weekends may require multiple night stays. Check-in is between 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. We will send you an email prior to arrival with additional information. Please note Hipcamp site assignments do not correspond to the actual cabin you will be assigned. Our Camp cabin names and assignments are a little different. If you are reserving multiple cabins please let us know so we can try and assign you near each other. Parking is a short walk away from the Cabins. The Camp is private property and for registered guests only. Gate is closed 9PM-7PM. Campers are free to come and go as these please between 7AM-PM, but all Campers must be back onsite before 9PM. Had the best weekend there, I only stayed one night with my boyfriend but it was SO worth it. Not only is the camper the perfect distance from the Aptos town, it’s also super close to capitola beach! The camper actually feels super spacious and the bed is super cozy. Loved it here and hope to be back soon!

7 nights at Sacred Owl Land

I cannot recommend SOL more highly. My husband and I were in Monterey for car week and rather than stay in a hotel with the crowds, we opted for a quieter accommodation outside the city. We had the perfect mix of relaxation while being close enough to drive to many local activities, parks, etc. We are really grateful that we chose to stay here. The Sky View camp was super cute and included all of the basic amenities that we needed. And the views were outstanding - we were in awe of the misty fog that hung over the valley when we woke up and looked out the beautiful large windows in the mornings! The nighttime views were just as spectacular. Lastly, the hosts were spectacular! Very nice and offered many great recommendations. I would love to return and stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Quail Ridge Farm

This was my first Hipcamp experience and it did not disappoint. The location was very easy to access, and the views were AMAZING!!! The campsites were spread out providing enough privacy. The Airstream was perfect and had everything I needed. Good size bed which was comfortable, nice little sink and stove, toilet and shower, and a nice dining area with bench seating. The RV outside had an overhang providing good shade. The hosts were kind enough to provide a propane firepit, two camping chairs, a large table bench, and a charcoal grill. The camping spot had a hiking trail right in front of it, which was nice to trek. Overall, it was a great experience and hosts were beyond accommodating. Would love to come back very soon!

6 nights at Terra Cultura

The Family Yurt was a pleasant stay, nicely sized, and well appointed. My brother and I stayed here for six days and enjoyed the welcoming space and well kept surroundings. The beds are comfy and it was nice to wake up to the sound of birds and breeze through the trees. There are two yurts and the bathroom close to the Family Yurt, so you will hear other people if those spots are occupied. I would recommend staying here, just make sure you have a high enough clearance vehicle to get in. A crossover, SUV, or truck would probably be fine. The main parking lot has a very aggressively angled driveway transitioning from the main drive. We had issues in our Corolla with both traction and ground clearance getting up the driveway. Filling in the transition with some 2x4s to worked ok to avoid damaging the car.

Weekend Trip to Double Bear

I loved Double Bear. Mathilda was a super host answering all my questions in advance and then checking- in to ask if we needed anything. The Yurt Bear Hollow was spectacular. So clean! Everything impeccable! Same for bathrooms and kitchen. The dirt road is challenging first, but doable and after we did a trip to a state park and came back, it felt so much easier the second time. It is a small price to pay to be so close to Los Gatos but so immersed in the wilderness. This place has the perfect balance of rustic setting but with all the basic comforts that makes a quick weekend trip easy or a long term comfortable. The wifi worked very well. We enjoyed the fire pit and the jacuzzi. It was my first time in the area so we travelled to Big Basin state park but it is still impacted from the last fire so we went to Henry Cowell state park which was much nicer. I am recommending this place to all my friends and I hope I can come back soon. Next time, I would like to bring a great book and hang out more in the property and explore the creek. Such a great place to just relax and be.

Weekend Trip to Harmony's Glamping

The site was fantastic! It was great for our group with 4 families. Harmony has an amazing kitchen set-up at each site but we all shared the main one. Kids and adults had fun in the river below the yurts, playing ping pong and cornhole, sitting around propane campfire at night, taking warm showers, and hiking to the waterfall (it was a good challenge for us all). We loved the fun yurts and they had the most comfortable beds. They were a far cry from sleeping in tents in sleeping bags on the ground.

Weekend Trip to Lisa S.’s Land

This was our very first HipCamp experience. We had been road tripping for our pup's 11th birthday and we stayed one night. We absolutely LOVE the rustic architecture of the cabin (and the deco) and especially the garden (the pictures on the app don't do it justice). We arrived shortly after check-in time to rest under the shade of the trees/plants selection. We loved learning about the history of the cabin. We unfortunately have to point few things about this hipcamp. * The entrance of the property, even though it says in the directions to be "in front of" was hard to see from the road: no signs, no number, dirt entrance doesn't indicate it is the actually alley to take. We thought we were at a wrong address. * The rentals on the app seem to indicate 2 cabins only but there is a RV next to cabin 2 + a main house + another unit which we had no idea if they were rentals or not. * Quiet time of 10 pm was not respected by the other guests which we found out we had at 1.30 am when they came back and made loud noises (cabin 1 + RV). When you are staying for 1 night and road tripping, sleeping is important. Quiet time is indicated on a sheet of paper in the kitchenette only, which people might not read. * Cabin is located next to a major road that gives you access to downtown easily but that means you hear traffic. * A pet fee is also requested to be left in the cabin prior to your departure but not indicated on the app. We understand for long stay but not for one night.

I've been to a lot of hotels some fancy others not so much but they never feel like home... have a Hideaway feels like home to be honest with you I didn't wanna leave... cozy, cute, friendly. This place is magical. If you're looking for the full service boutique hotel this isn't it but if you're looking for a truly peaceful, warm and inviting place to stay this is the place. Not only will I be back I'm gonna invite all my friends to take over the whole hideaway and we're just gonna camp out there and enjoy the serenity and each other's company

Amazing! Would literally live here. It's up a gorgeous canyon, has a hammock tucked between two trees on the porch, it's own creek, and the cutest inside. It's basically like a tree apartment. I will for sure be back!
