Such a wonderful and tranquil experience from the views to the environment with nature itself not to mention the hospitality from the hosts Vanessa and Ludo (Thank you both for welcoming me with open arms and giving me the opportunity to enjoy what you two have put together) , now if you need a getaway to remember with your significant other or are just looking to get away to unwind and relax this is definitely the place to be for many reasons…BOOK ASAP! Because it’s definitely a once in a lifetime experience.

Amazing, spiritual, private

Absolutely amazing experience. Host was very friendly and helpful , and our cabin was stunning. My gf and I are both very clean people so the warm shower , clean rooms, and privacy drew us to this location. It was our first Hipcamp experience , and it won’t be our last

I cannot recommend SOL more highly. My husband and I were in Monterey for car week and rather than stay in a hotel with the crowds, we opted for a quieter accommodation outside the city. We had the perfect mix of relaxation while being close enough to drive to many local activities, parks, etc. We are really grateful that we chose to stay here. The Sky View camp was super cute and included all of the basic amenities that we needed. And the views were outstanding - we were in awe of the misty fog that hung over the valley when we woke up and looked out the beautiful large windows in the mornings! The nighttime views were just as spectacular. Lastly, the hosts were spectacular! Very nice and offered many great recommendations. I would love to return and stay here again!

We were blown away by this entire property. So inspiring! Really creatively designed spaces, beautifully adorned, spotlessly clean, and well built. The property is huge and sprawling so there’s plenty of privacy if you want it. The platform on top of the hill has a stunning view - beautiful place to hang out. Great jacuzzi too! another glamorous perk I hadn’t expected. The king bed was gloriously comfy, and waking up to the huge view of the valley was magical. Not sure how long this place has been here, but everything felt brand new. Ludo the host was awesome. Super friendly, generous, and a very endearing accent =)

Sacred ground

This is a truly special place, set on sacred land and cared for by beautiful, thoughtful people. I stayed in one of the tents, which was peaceful, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. The entire property has a deeply positive and soothing atmosphere. Ludo was a wonderfully warm and accommodating host, helping me every step of the way and making me feel genuinely welcome. I am so grateful for the care that has gone into creating this unique sanctuary in the Corralitos Hills. I will definitely return. *Bring a good flashlight :)

A magical place

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The drive up to the location is beautiful and secluded. You are at the top of a hill, so the panoramic view is stunning. We stayed in a cabana, and it was small but did the job. Your view is breathtaking as you're tucked in the woods without other guests in sight. I will say it felt odd to be exposed at night, with large windows without curtains, but that is the magic of the place. The cabana does get hot since it's largely made of big windows, so if you're not a fan of heat, a callout. The hosts were welcoming and gave us a tour of the grounds.

What a unique stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Sky View Cabana for a 3 night girl’s trip. The land is beautiful, with unbelievable views and a peaceful atmosphere. Both Vanessa and Ludo were warm, gracious hosts who were very responsive whenever we had a question. Both Santa Cruz and Monterey are easy day trips from this location, and it’s also incredibly grounding and relaxing so you may not want to leave! The king sized loft bed was very comfortable. Perhaps the only feedback is maybe to add a screen on the small window above the bed because that is the only airflow into the space and is nice to leave open overnight.

Nice getaway

Cute little cabin with friendly hosts and great views. Everything was very clean. We used the grill that was provided for us which made cooking really easy. We also had a chance to check out the yoga studio which was gorgeous and calming. We also enjoyed the hot tub which was well kept and had great calming views. Be aware that the property has poison ivy - we had to be careful and I would recommend bringing boots and high socks. At the time of our visit, the shower water heater wasn't working which the hosts were informed about. It wasn't a big deal for us and hopefully will be fixed for future guests.

We had an amazing time at the Sky View cabana! The hosts were so welcoming and sweet. The grill we used was brand new and the hammocks at our site were perfect. We took a wonderful walk to the nearby winery and enjoyed seeing all of the July 4th fireworks from our awesome view from the loft bed. A peaceful and healing oasis. Would return for sure!!

Had a really magical experience at Vaza and Ludo’s place! The glamping tent was spacious and comfortable, the land was well maintained and the amenities were perfect for a relaxing weekend away from the city. Vaza especially made me feel really welcomed and was excited to hear about my plans while I was visiting. Really felt like home away from home. I would love to come back again sometime!

Sacred Owl Land is a gem!

Vanessa and her family were very welcoming to us! We felt such uplifting energy from them and the land. The views were incredible too. We felt nestled in a peaceful sanctuary with the sounds of birds and owls surrounding us. This is a wonderful place to connect more deeply with nature!

The site was private, beautiful, and well maintained. However, as a person of color, I had some uncomfortable interactions with the host that colored the overall experience of my stay. So I would not return or recommend for that reason.

I loved my cabana at Sacred Owl Land and cannot wait to return. The space was private, had a spectacular view and had so much love and care cultivated into every detail of the space. The bed was heavenly - SOOO comfortable! My only personal challenge (that others may benefit from) is having spinal and knee issues - the cabana is a hike down a short steep hill with the restrooms at the top, so bring good shoes and be prepared to go up and down. Vaza and Ludo are so kind and hospitable, next time I will opt for one of their beautiful bell glamping tents!

A Hidden Redwood Paradise! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My wife and I wanted a peaceful weekend getaway, and this place blew our expectations away. Situated on a hilltop in a redwood forest, it offers stunning views of Watsonville and Monterey Bay. The Stay & Amenities We stayed in the Safari Camp, which was meticulously designed for comfort by our host, Vaza. The tent was so spacious it felt like a cozy cabin! For a remote location, the amenities were a rare luxury: Relaxing hot tub & personal hot shower Clean compost toilets Beautiful yoga studio & viewing deck (perfect for unwinding on a clear day) Outstanding Hospitality Even though we arrived late, Vaza sent check-in instructions well in advance. She and her husband were incredibly helpful and responded to messages instantly—they are absolute gems. It has such a wonderful, chill vibe, and we can't wait to visit again. Thank you, Vaza! 💡 Quick Tips for Future Guests: 1. Bring a wagon/cart: The parking area is about 200–250 yards away, so a cart is a lifesaver for luggage. 2. Pack bedding: Don't forget your own sheets and a comforter or sleeping bags. 3. Extra gear: A portable picnic table is great to have on hand.

Perfect Weekend Getaway to Unplug!

Had the absolute best time at Sacred Owl Land. The stay here for the weekend was nothing but peaceful, beautiful, quiet, and a perfect way to reset and recharge completely unplugged with nature. It was exactly what I needed. A beautiful yoga room to stretch, hammocks to relax, hot tub to unwind, a fire pit for s’mores, and of course we can’t forget the amazing view of all the beautiful trees! This is the place to be if you’re looking for a nice little quiet weekend getaway.

A slice of nirvana on earth

A beautiful camping retreat tucked away among the redwoods, far from the noise and stress of daily life. It really felt like a little slice of nirvana. The hosts were warm and welcoming and made us feel instantly at home. The setup was simple but thoughtfully done. The heated outdoor shower worked well, and the composting toilet was perfectly clean and odor-free. A campfire was already set up for us, so all we had to do was light it, and the candles and solar lanterns around the campsite made the evening feel especially magical. I missed the note that guests should bring their own pillows, sleeping bags, and water, but the hosts graciously helped us out, which we really appreciated. I also joined the onsite morning yoga class, and it was fantastic. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back soon!
