Matt was very responsive throughout our one night stay at the camper. My sister and I shared the space during our trip this summer and it was just what we needed! The fire was very nice and convenience to use right outside the camper. Would recommend for anyone looking for a simple, unique stay!

Enjoyed our stay here! Parking is accessible and just steps away from the actual site. The camper is super cozy and stocked basic essentials. The eucalyptus spray was clutch to keep mosquitoes at bay.

We loved staying at Fern Ridge Camper! It was a very cozy night but the space was the perfect size for my husband and I. It made the perfect addition to our trip and a new favorite memory!

Perfect cozy spot for a one night get away! Matt was a friendly host and the camper was charming. I appreciated the fire pit, propane stove, and kitchen utensils/dishes that were included. My only note to future guests is to bring bug repellent as there are some pools of standing water nearby with mosquitos but also some cute frogs! Overall great experience.

Such a nice stop and really clean little place off the beaten path. I stopped here on a solo road trip down the coast and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling alone. Easy check in, plenty of privacy and very kind communicative hosts. I would recommend double checking your route with hosts in the village when you get to town before going up the hills and ensuring you downloaded map directions because you lose reception quickly but they had great instructions. The camper itself was cute and convenient with a portable gas stove, some basic cookware and a working sink for washing. Plenty of storage space if you are a light traveler like me and a nice little dining nook.
Wildlife viewing and bird watching and a nice little fire pit. There is wifi once you get to the site.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mattâs Fern Ridge Camper. Itâs so convenient being close to the city 1 it made for an easy, relaxing weekend escape.
The space is perfectly set up for a couple and offers great privacy. It had all the essentials (and a few nice extras), which made our stay comfortable and stress-free.
Matt was very responsive and shared helpful recommendations that made the trip even better. Weâd definitely stay again!

The camper was cute, peaceful, and cozy! The view of the stars were so clear and the atmosphere was perfect for a short getaway! Matt is the most accommodating host and even went out of his way to grab us lamps for extra light!

Had an amazing time in this camper. Matt was very communicative and compensated when he addressed a minor issue before we even checked in! It was amazing being able to see the stars and wake up to the sunlight through the camper. The campfire was in a perfect spot to make sâmores. The portable bathroom was easy to use and we had a ton of privacy. Definitely would recommend.

Great spot for a short stay in Aptos. So beautiful and pretty close to everything. I had been camping at the city park but decided to treat myself on my last night. Really glad I did.

i absolutely love coming here. i usually book last minute and matt always accommodates. the camper is always cozy and comfy, no matter when i stay. i loved the late night around the fire pit watching the moon and early morning around it as i listened to owls and doves and crickets wake up. its always so quiet and peaceful. truly just a wonderful not far from home reset.

This was a great, little, rustic, camper hideaway! Felt very private and comfortable. I slept well and enjoyed both the fresh air and sounds of nature (birds, honey bees in the shrub outside). Easy to get to the beach and Aptos Village before retreating back to this charming location.
