Nomad is a family farm nestled in the rolling hills of Cholame Valley along Highway 41 just outside Paso Robles. You'll have the area's numerous wineries at your fingertips for a day or two of wine tasting, and spacious, shaded sites to return to and unwind under vibrant sunsets and starry skies.

Coyote Tent Site offers plenty of space to yourself. It features a leveled 17x15' artificial grass pad with a shade sail for setting up tents and gear with views of Cholame Valley's rolling hills all around you. Leveled parking allows for up to 18' vans to park alongside the pad. There's a shared compost toilet and beach-style shower with hot water for guests to use. Ground squirrels live all through the area and often check in to see what you're up to. Great-horned and barn owls frequent the old trees the tent sites sit under as well.

Gavin was a wonderful host! Beautiful campsite with wonderful access to a bathroom and running water for handwashing! Firewood was provided and the string lights allowed for easy access around the campsite while it was dark. Thank you!

Unique spot to appreciate the hills

Owl Tent Site
Great spot and host. This is a very unique location, nestled in the rolling hills. The sunsets and sunrises are spectacular. Sun tarps and a nice level pads make it comfortable all day. We even had a nice hike in the hills behind the camp site.

Coyote Tent Site
I loved camping on Gavin's land. The raised turf pads and shaded area is great for hanging out and enjoying the rolling hills. I saw tons of song birds, a couple owls, and a few elk. The highway noise from Hwy 46 was not too bad. I would recommend staying while temperatures are still cool. During my visit, the temperatures were just right and the nights were still chilly. Any hotter and it would've been a little different of a story. Facilities are great. Outdoor shower always a plus. Thank you!
