Secluded camping near Big Sandy Creek, close to Cheat Lake. If you are looking to unwind, you have found the perfect place. Sit back and enjoy nature, the outdoors and the sound of babbling waters. Visit our camp in Whitewater Preserve. Ideal for travel trailers with slides, and/or tents. Site is level and can accommodate up to two travel trailers. Electric (30 amp) for one camper, or two with extension cord. Porta pot onsite. Site has one fire ring with grate for cooking. Enjoy your days hiking along the river, and your evenings sitting by the campfire. Our camp is located in a gated community and is only a short 5-minute walk to the community common area where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Big Sandy Creek and picnic areas that are ideal for get-togethers, and family getaways. You can also experience hiking beautiful trails, waterfalls, swimming holes, fishing, tubing, and kayaking.
Firewood is not provided.
Please use the designated fire pit at campsite. Ensure to put out the fires entirely and do not leave a fire unsupervised.
Do not spill any chemicals on the site or in creek.

Enjoy the creek during the stay, but please note that the wet rocks are very slippery, be careful.
Bring your hammocks, lawn chairs, and lighting as needed.
Of course, pets are welcome, they are family. However, be courteous by picking up after your dog.
