Creekside Camp
I adored my stay here! This cozy spot is nestled down a tiny little residential road but feels secluded. As a solo traveler I felt safe here. I enjoyed listening to the creek whisper by and the orchestras of the forest. There's a diverse habitat of birdos here if that's your thing, and lots of sweet deer. The outhouse was clean and up a magical little path. I loved there were trailheads to the gorge close by.

Creekside Camp
Private, beautiful, and so close to New River Gorge National Park! We loved being so close to everything we wanted to see and do while still feeling like we had our own private space. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Creekside Camp
Quiet and secluded just what we were looking for. Perfect place for a couple hammocks!
Creekside Camp
Tent Site
Our space was confined by a gravel road with some traffic and upsloping terrain on the other. This space is secluded by a stand of tall trees which was lovely. The path from the campfire area to our tent had a dip with big roots on its sides - a small water runoff - which made walking to and from our tent difficult. The toilet is quite nice and stocked with paper and extra sawdust. Access to the New River Gorge and attractions is quite handy. We were able to drive to restaurants and attractions in short order. The small tent space is close to the fire pit and would be quite ideal, but our tent is large.
Lu was communicative and helpful. I would recommend this site for a small 2-person tent.
Watch out for the poison ivy!

Creekside Camp
Charming little spot with babbling brook and woods on three sides. Very close to a road with very minimal traffic (a couple of cars). House across the road n the distance makes it feel a little less private/isolated than deep woods, off road camping. But certainly convenient and perfectly sized for my campervan.
Host was great at communicating, and the location is very close to all the New River Gorge activities.
Excellent!
