TOMMY IS SO NICE! He gave good advice about swimming in the area and caution about bears and coyotes (basically that we were fine). There was a fire pit with two chairs and logs to sit on. And lots of choices of where to set up the tent. Getting there was super easy too we drive a corrolla and we’re fine. He only cautioned about the grass road being slippery in the rain but we were fine. A great time and very welcoming!

Great place to enjoy the outdoors, peace, and quiet. The host, Tommy, is friendly and a great host for things to do in the area. There is a huge fire pit and a grill top for it, which I used to cook some chicken and sausages. I recommend staying and plan to go back for more rest and relaxation. Thank you for the amazing time at your campground.

Beautiful, well maintained rustic site in an Appalachian Forest near the rim of the Cheat Canyon. Great base camp for nearby activities like hiking or climbing at Snake Hill Wildlife Management Area or visiting the area’s historical sites. There’s also a zoo (no kidding!) a short drive away. Even with fun things to do nearby, the site itself is worth the visit if you’re looking to relax in peace and quiet. There are no facilities so plan to be be self sufficient for all your needs and you'll have a wonderful time.

A bit out of the way and we found the last roads there a bit difficult with our A class RV. Didn't trust the slight slope with potentially wet grass down to the actual campsite, despite assurances by the host. But host was nonetheless friendly and said it's ok for us to stay just outside, as long as we're clear of the road. For those who do venture into the campsite though it's very spacious and secluded, even has a fire place. Great for the price.

Beautiful area, very private site if no one else is camping there.
3 sites to chose from, hike around a little before choosing your spot. T1 site looks really cool but we showed up at night.
There’s a cabin by the swimming pond that looks like it’s possibly under renovation.
Sites in woods could use some maintenance but still a place I’d like to return.
Very quiet.
Close to Snake Hill Nature Reserve - great hiking views and some rock climbing close by too.
Coopers rock is about 30min away, also with great views, hiking, and rock climbing.
We like trying new sites, this is one we’d probably come back to.

Tommy’s communication was amazing - he even had someone come down to tell us what an animal noise was. Very private, super pretty, and lots of animal noises to hear. We heard coyotes, cows, woodpeckers, and bull frogs. Would definitely recommend staying here and walking the property.

Tommy was a phenomenal host! He was friendly, communicative, and accommodating. Our goal was to get away from people for the weekend, and this site did not disappoint. We have a 31 foot rv. The site was a little slanted, but we were able to adjust easily. The tent sites are private and scenic. We’re already planning a return with friends.

Perfect spot for a night of peace and quiet. Tommy offered to let me stay a little longer but I had plans to be elsewhere. Totally recommend it and I would definitely stay here again!!

I saw a shooting star!

Private and quiet, easy to find. The host saw me pulling in then biked down, from his house to greet me. Tommy explained the land how and it all connects with other areas historically under my questioning, which was fascinating. I did some exploring of the property when he left. There are a couple, at least, other areas to camp than the main open site. The homestead is so quiet. I'd swear I heard elk or some other animal bugeling? The cities are far enough away that I was able to see stars and a shooting star!!

Directions were accurate, trust the lat/lon and look for the arrow pointing to the left that takes you down to the campsites.
I think I heard turkeys in the morning and some unusual insects at night. I loved the location. I hadn't been in that area of PA before.

This place was very private and peaceful. The sites are well wooded so they stayed cool and shady even in summer heat. The firepit was well built and the space well-maintained. This was the perfect place to spend my week away from the world. I’d definitely return.

This was a beautiful spot to park our camper van for 2 nights as we explored Morgantown, Coopers Rock, Deckers Creek Rail-Trail, and the WV Botanic Garden. Tommy is a terrific host!

Solid, secluded spot with a nice flat space for our travel trailer. A small pond towards the back our dog jumped in. Great place to pass through for a night. Little to no traffic noise.

Had a beautiful couple days to myself on this property, which was a pleasant surprise. Tommy was very responsive which was much appreciated. Beautiful scenery to check out with the pond, some trails, the hammock nestled in the woods. Just lovely, and Tommy was kind enough to track me down when I'd wandered past the entrance to the property and guide me to where he let me have my pick of sites! We chatted for a bit and he was off! It was easy to find enough wood for fires, being it was just a two night stay and no one had been there yet this season. He offered to bring some down if I ran out though. For how reasonably priced his sites are he is beyond accommodating. It was just the getaway needed.
