Loved my stay here! Trails in the national park were right across the road, & I loved the convenience of the shower house & restaurant/bar. The goats were a definite plus. Not really private between RV sites but no problem. Would stay here in the future.

I came hoping for a NPS campsite, but they are first come first serve and they were all taken! This was a great campsite! Amazing price for the location and amenities. Goats were the cutest.

Great spot!

This place is fantastic! We brought our RV and stayed for two nights. The pump track being right at your fingertips is amazing for the kids. The goats are hilarious. The wildflower farm with a path cut through is so relaxing. Another huge plus, the downtown is a short drive away. The restaurant was out of lots of food and their draft beer machine wasn’t working. That was unfortunate but I’m sure not an everyday thing. The showers definitely need a thorough cleaning. We would 100% stay here again.

OK for cyclists, not hikers

This place would appeal to cyclists and families. Bike "course" 3 ft behind the RV campsites. Great for the kids but makes for VERY tight campsites. As hikers, we are early risers in the morning to hike when it isn't so hot. This campground has an 11pm quiet time. Kids were running around and adults socializing loudly until midnight. Wouldn't be an issue if we didn't need to get up at 6 AM. The bathrooms were very rustic and in poor shape with black mold in the showers and very dirty floors that didn't appear to have been mopped in quite some time. The men's room which had two toilets, had a hole in the floor that was covered with OSB. On the plus side, you can access several trails in the new River Gorge national Park from your campsite. The person that checked us in was apparently having a bad day because he was extremely rude. When we arrived, a storm was about to hit. He told us he'd be with us in a minute as he was working on a bike. We just stood there and waited while he worked on the tire. Finally, we said we hope the storm didn't hit before we could get our tent set up and he then decides to come over and check us in. He put us in a spot right on top of an RV. There was a spot at the end that was unoccupied, which would've given us more room as well as the RV we were beside. We asked about that spot and he said no, someone else had reserved it. However, no one ever checked in that site the four days we were there.

Tent camping on the grassy field was very comfortable. Love that Arrowhead is so close to New River Gorge NP and to Fayetteville. Hot showers, a dish washing station and a peaceful setting were just what I wanted. And the very reasonable nightly fee is a plus. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to camp (camper sites also available).

Right on the rim - trail access!

I loved so much about Arrowhead! Direct access to BP trails was so cool. We loved the restaurant with IPA beers and cocktails and loved the pump track for the younger people ! It was so joyful watching the kids just loving the track - little ones to you d teenagers. Definitely a great place for kids. The goat farm was just so nice too - the goats are well behaved and enjoyed visits by adults and kids alike. The only downsides were that hook up sites were right in top of one another and that there was no sewer hook up at this campground. I’d go back with a group for sure !

Camping, Nature, and Convenience

This was perfect as an overnight spot on my cross-country road trip, but I’d also love to come back for a few days, rent one of their mountain bikes, and explore the trails at New River Gorge. Friendly goats, and SO MANY songbirds! The onsite pub/restaurant is good, too—it’s clear that the kitchen staff takes pride in what they make, and they have lots of good local beers. I appreciated the covered outdoor patio, since there was a bit of rain!

Perfect spot for visiting the national park. Trails right outside your door so you don’t have to get into your vehicle. Husbands enjoyed the bike trails, as well. Very quiet…restaurant was great!!

I absolutely loved my stay at Arrowhead Bike Farm & Campground. As a photographer, it served as the perfect base camp, with easy access to many of the area’s most photogenic locations. The atmosphere was relaxed and laid-back during the day, while the nights were peaceful and quiet—exactly what I look for when camping. The staff was friendly, the grounds were well-maintained, and the overall vibe was welcoming and unique. And if you’re a fan of craft beer and goats, you’re in for a treat—they have both!

Great spot. I did field camping as a solo female on a weekday/night. Felt super safe. Everyone was chill. Absolutely 1000% eat at the place on site. Totally plan to camp here again & thought about extending my stay to explore NRG more. I’m not a mountain biker but seems like a great spot of course if you are! Bathrooms & showers were clean.

One of my favorite HIPCAMP stays to date! I mainly booked this due to its close proximity to New River BUT I would 100% recommend it based on everything else on top of that! I stayed in the field, which was great (not muddy at all even though it rained a lot). They had all sorts of site types throughout as well. All of the staff were phenomenal from the bike shop to the Handle Bar. The food at the Handle Bar was delicious! The vibes were spot on, especially if you are into biking. Can’t say enough about this place. I will for sure be back and you should book it!

Overall had a nice experience and the hosts were able to work with me when I had a small issue. Sites are decently close together, but other campers were good about maintaining quiet hours. There are lots of activities to do and the grounds are a very social environment. I loved meeting the cat who escorted me to and from the bathhouse at night.

Upon arrival I meet with the owner in the bike shop and was able to fix my issue quickly. Set up camp in the field and watched the meteor shower!! Great spot! A+ Service and Correspondence. I’m telling my friends!

I really loved camping at this campground. The price was great, the bathroom/shower facilities were well maintained, and the trails were awesome. I didn't stay when the restaraunt was open, but i really enjoyed everything else. I also loved the goats. I hope to make my way back here!

Arrowhead Bike Farm and Campground is a great place to spend the night or a couple of days. As the name suggests they have lots of bikes and biking opportunities. The sites are well maintained and clean. The RV sites are situated in the middle of the action and close to both the bathhouse and the kitchen. The tent sites offer more privacy. The area was very quiet and peaceful overnight.

Arrowhead Bike Campground & Farm was an easy, comfortable stop. I loved being able to pull the van right up and camp in the open field—simple and stress-free. Bathroom facilities and communal areas were close by, everything was clean, and the grounds were clearly well cared for. A great spot if you appreciate low-key camping with thoughtful amenities.
