Hello Campers & Glampers! Our property is 16.5 acres, two of which are along the Tygart Valley River and the rest are within forest canopy on the mountainside. We are in the low foothills of the Appalachia. We have 4 riverfront sites and we are continually changing our space around This year we will be adding a tiny house on site 4 and a sweatlodge with soaking pool on Site 1 additional camping spots along the property near outhouse Each site is equipped with a steel fire pit/grill and a picnic table. We have been busy building hiking trails and more primitive campsites on the 14.5 acres on the hillside across the road from the riverfront for all to enjoy. Step outside your tent and enjoy natures bounty —outdoor activities including fishing, kayaking, hiking, bird watching are all at your fingertips and much more. There are 300+ acres of public land less than one mile away with miles of ATV and hiking trails and stocked ponds. If you're a fan of waterfalls just 4 miles down river is Arden Falls, one of our areas best kept secrets. The Tygart Valley River is one of the top kayaking rivers in the country. Audra State Park is less than 20 minutes away with lush forest trails with caves to explore. Well known hiking trails such as Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob, and the Dolly Sods are all within an hour drive. Go to Nelson Rocks for the ultimate climbing experience on the Via Ferrata. We are the perfect place to come to explore the wild beauty of West Virginia without the crowds. A hidden gem!

Great location, great hosts!
Loved camping here! The hosts were great. We needed firewood and bought some from them, and he even helped us start a fire since we forgot our lighter. Told us a little bit about the road and things to do in the area. At night, if the sky is clear (which was for us) you can see all the stars, it’s pretty incredible. Fog rolling in at night was also pretty cool. We would have stayed two nights, but we have a senior dog who wasn’t feeling great, so we had to leave. But we’ll definitely be back if we’re in the area.

Almost Heaven...
Great hosts, beautiful piece of land. River is perfect for paddleboards and kayaks in this area..however..Class 5's are a couple miles down so be careful. Launch literally 30 feet behind camp. Facilities are a work in progress, be prepared. Pet friendly.. Scenic drive to Arden, WV is a must.. Overall, our favorite so far. We'll be back in Spring.

River beach gems
We had a great time on the river! The site was just feet away from the river, which we enjoyed wading in when the weather got hot! The camp spots themselves are pretty close together but luckily all of our camp neighbors were kind and considerate :) Dusty was generous enough to show us a better spot for swimming and hanging out up the road aways. Huge rocks to sun on and a nice sandy beach on the cool clean water. Paradise!

Stunning Natural Scenery
My friends and I recently stayed at an Earth Sky campsite near the river and had an incredible experience! We were greeted by Dusty and Emily who had many recommendations for hiking and local sites to visit. The campsite was beautifully secluded from the outside world and surrounded by stunning natural scenery that made for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. There are fire rings at each campsite and they offered firewood for purchase and on-site delivery, so we didn't have to worry about bringing our own. The simplicity of the setup was perfect for those looking to reconnect with nature, and the overall experience was fantastic.

Great spot, very beautiful and peaceful, would come back. The river is almost completely stagnant though so we didn’t trust it for water which was unexpected.
