This little glamping shack offers a unique option for a visit to beautiful Englewood! Just 2 miles from Englewood Beach, it is also .5 mile from a public boat launch into Lemon Bay, which has direct access into the Gulf of Mexico! Enjoy exploring Stumps Pass, Englewood Beach, Blind Pass Beach, and Manasota Beach within a 10 minutes drive. After a day at the beach or on one of our many waterways, check out our wonderful restaurants, shopping, and live music on Beach Rd. and Dearborn St! Englewood's own fabulous farmer's market takes place every Thursday from October-May as well! Separate from the main house, the studio shack contains a daybed w/ pull out trundle, Smart TV, a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, and is stocked with the basics for a not quite kitchenette. While the shack itself has no running water, there is access to an interior full bathroom with a walk in shower through a side door entrance. Additionally, there is an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a beach visit. Laundry facilities are also available for use by request! While I mentioned that we have a boat launch available nearby, you also may bring your boat and kayaks! This little "shack" has just about everything you need to enjoy exploring beautiful "Old Florida" Englewood! It's a separate little stand alone home surrounded by seagrape trees and dutchman's pipe growing on the fence along the side! Crushed shells will soon be in place in front and around the shack to make exploring more enjoyable. The home itself has windows all around, but we have installed black out curtains. With a small refrigerator, double hot pad, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, as well as plates, cups, silverware, pans, etc... (and basic condiments), you won't need to bring much at all to enjoy a relaxing place from which to set out and explore! If you bring your bike, you can easily bike to Englewood Beach, Stumps Pass, and just about everything else around! There is an excellent farmer's market every Thursday on Dearborn St. and wonderful Stumps Pass plus Lemon Bay Park with kayaking access and excellent birdwatching! Englewood Beach is one of those hidden gems that does much to preserve its small town feel and protect the local ecosystem! Boat tours can take you through Lemon Bay and the shallow waters around Stumps Pass State Park or you can explore on your own with your own boat/kayak/or canoe. Sunset cruises allow for dolphin and even manatee viewing!
