We’re a husband‑and‑wife team who love all things outdoors; from quiet mornings with coffee under the trees to evenings around a crackling fire. Our farm is our happy place, and we’re excited to share it with other campers who appreciate nature, open space, and a peaceful getaway. Embrace the beauty of rural camping on our 40-acre hobby farm, offering a balanced mix of primitive and full-hookup sites. Perfect for campground recreation, a peaceful quiet retreat, or exploring local favorites. Our property invites you to be closer to nature. On site you can wander through over 20 acres of shaded walking trails, where you can exercise, forage, birdwatch, and enjoy up-close encounters with the wildlife, or visit with our hobby farm residents. We have 8 pigs, 6 goats, 5 dogs, 4 horses, 2 rabbits, 1 donkey and a variety of more than 1000 birds that free range the property. While we are talking about birds, watch the bats take flight at dusk in the open pastures, and once night falls, enjoy the stars, moon, planes and satellites while they keep the skies busy. Local favorites include Holmes Creek Livery (13 mins away), Falling Waters State Park (15 mins away), Sunshine Riding Stables (24 mins away), Marianna Caverns State Park (40 mins away), Ponce De Leon Springs State Park (40 mins away) and Panama City Beach (45 mins away.) We have participated in or visited all of these places and can provide you with information, discounts, and more if you are interested in any of these activities during your stay. We have 2 site options currently: A semi-primitive camping site, with an outhouse, water pump, picnic table and firepit. As well as a site with 50-amp hookup with water sewer and a large, fenced area for your four-legged companions. The full hook up site overlooks a 2-acre pasture that our animals rotate on and is open to BoonDockers Welcome guests. Our farm is ready for RVs, campers, or off-grid adventurers. We hope to add a Hammocking with the Horses site and a Hike in site in the near future. As well, we will include extras for a small fee like, farm fresh eggs, forage walks, be a farmer for a day, walk a goat and up-close animal encounters. Please stay tuned.

Looking for a camping experience that's a little different? Come slow down, unplug, and relax right in the pasture with our friendly horses. We will hang the hammocks, or you can pitch a tent, settle in and enjoy the peaceful surroundings while the horses graze nearby. Imagine waking up to the sounds of nature, stepping out of your tent/ hammock, and enjoying your morning beverage with the horses wandering peacefully through the pasture. They may come over to say hello, graze nearby, or simply carry on with their day. Guests are asked to respect their space and follow all property and horse-safety guidelines. Please note: This is a working pasture, not a traditional campground. Horse behavior can be unpredictable, so guests must be comfortable camping around large animals and should never feed, chase, or approach the horses without permission. Guest must pack in/ out all supplies as parking is at the gate to the pasture. Guests have access to the water spigot near the horse through and use of a camping toilet. This site is primitive.

Semi Primitive Vehicle/Tent Site

It was a great little spot. Host was very sweet and welcoming. So were all of the animals. Communication before was great and the spot was well taken care of. It was close enough to the animals that it was just a short walk to visit but you also felt like you had plenty of privacy. It was about a 10 min drive to the kayak launch to Cypress Springs and directions made it easy to find.

Semi Primitive Vehicle/Tent Site

I loved camping on this farm. It was private but close enough if something happened or was needed. Water & a toilet are available. My Verizon service was low - 2 LTE bars. Christie was very friendly and helpful from reserving to leaving. Learning about the animals was a great opportunity and suggest taking the tour. You’ll hear normal forest sounds but also horses, chickens and peacocks - it was great! Would definately come back if in the area. Can’t wait to see what else they do!
