Less than 2 hours from Richmond and Charlottesville, this property is secluded on a private gravel road and is very quiet. This property is best suited for an RV parking spot rather than a tent site as the land is sloped and can be wet. It is a small-scale farm with goats, chickens, vege garden and walking trails. There is a place to park one small RV or van, a composting toilet, a handwashing station, a firepit and a clawfoot tub for soaking in rainwater. The main house is visible from the parking area, however the outdoor living areas are private. Many birds are seen and heard daily, including Bobwhites. Whippoorwills, warblers, ravens, hawks, to name a few. Wildlife such as deer, fox, rabbits, bobcat, skunk, and black bear (rarely seen) live here. There is a rough trail down to the river, however, the access is difficult due to the steep drop-off. Holliday Lake State Park is 15 mins away and a good place to paddle. Mature trees line the property and the rest of the land is in succession. Neighbors' houses are not visible from this property.I parking spot for an RV or camper van. Near well water, 20 amp outdoor receptacle, composting toilet, outdoor soaking tub, firepit and charcoal grill. Also near goat pasture and outbuildings. Better suited for sleeping in RV, though 1 tent could be set up next to the goat pasture fence, unless it is raining.
