Hippie Hollow is always a great time!! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly! You can sit around the communal fire-pit or hang by your camping spot for a more intimate feel. It is a beautiful space! We will definitely be back!

Landing On Water
Enjoyed our quick stay at Hippie Hollow! Sly was great, campground pups were great, resident chickens were great! Super close proximity to the shops and restaurants in Floyd. Bathhouse is currently a bath trailer, but they're constructing a new bathhouse at the moment and it looks like it's going to be really nice.

We loved the sound of the waterfall! It was very relaxing! We are a little disappointed in the restroom cleanliness. We didnt contact the host. We just made a mental note to bring cleaner when we visit again... and we will be back again!

Enjoyed our stay as first-time RVers. Sly offered good advice and keeps a very chill retreat
Groovy spot near Floyd. Plenty of parking. Picnic tables at every lot. Sites are not numbered so you'll have to check in to figure out where you park. Bathroom is in a small, white pull behind trailer. It's single use only which is nice. Has a decent shower and single toilet. This is a trailer shower toilet combo so can be strange. But worked for my needs. I would stay again for a night if in town and needed a quick camp site. Chickens running around was a plus. So cute. Creek next to sites. Nice surroundings.
Very warm and accommodating host. Down to earth and will greet you at any time of day/night that you arrive. There are new bathrooms being built which will be nice but the one in the interim is good too.

We enjoyed our stay, very relaxing, we almost asked if we could just rent the spot for half the day when it was time to leave. After breakfasts, we just became lazy, listening to the water and drinking percalated coffee from the fire. On arrival, it was like landing in Guatemala. Very peaceful environment and we are going back. We enjoyed the locals as well.
Just passed through on a road-trip. Arrived at night and it was still clear where to go and felt very welcoming!
Flat camping area right next to the creek very close to Floyd. Delightful swimming hole. Sly and his dog and cat pets are all friendly and Sly is knowledgeable about local events/businesses. Highway access is tricky so pay attention to the detailed instructions Sly gives you about finding the place.

On The Beach
This place is a gem! Well maintained campground with some really wonderful people around. Camping right on a creek with the dogs being able to be off leash was a real treat. Host was great and super communicative as well. Would love to come back one day!
Hippie Hollow is a special spot- way more than a place to camp. Sly has created a magical, laid back environment to meet others, play music, exchange treats around a communal campfire, and relax by a creek. It’s also just around the bend from Floyd, a sweet little hippie town and home to bluegrass music traditions. Tons of music, arts, and nature! I’ll definitely be back and when I do, Hippie Hollow will be my home!
The Glendale aka Dreamcicle camper is so unique, and right by the creek, so the soothing sounds of the water are pretty much all you hear. Everyone there is sooo genuinely kind with such good vibes. Sly is a wonderful host!
Sly is such a fantastic guy and so are all his workers.the property was so sweet, cute and beautiful with the river running around the property. Sly had a band on the Friday I arrived. What a great surprise.

Creekside Hookups Water/Electric
This is a great piece of property! It is clean, open and the river is very peaceful. Sly and all the other campers were very friendly. There was even live music the night we stayed there.
Very nice campsite and really nice people. The creek is lovely and the camp is very close to downtown Floyd making it easy to explore. The new bath house will be a wonderful edition once it’s finished.

"Everything went well. The primitive camping sites are right along the river which is awesome. The environment overall is very freeing and relaxed. Everyone I met was very kind and courteous and people believe in the best in each other no matter where anyone comes from. Sly is very dedicated to preserving and improving the experience of his campground and is working on building a lodge. I had a great time and I'm looking forward to when I can go back."

We love this place. Sly is a gracious host and the facilities are awesome. Very animal friendly.
I made a return visit to Hippie Hollow, it had been about a year since my last and the place continues to grow. An impressive bath house is near completion and I can only assume from looking at the outside it's going to be nice.
I went up for the "Why not Wednesdays" music series and there's something to be said about placing one's chair in a creek on a hot summer day and taking in some tunes that can't be replicated in a concert hall or bar.
Sly, the owner was welcoming and took the time to introduce me to some of the local attendees.
The site was clean and clear and had a water shoot behind it that produced a nice white noise to drift off to sleep by.
It's not your typical RV park and I mean that as a compliment.
Such a cute area and spot ! Sly was very accommodating and helpful.
Hippie Hollow is a hidden gem! The camp is right next to the river which is very beautiful and relaxing. Sly was very welcoming and accommodating. He sells firewood on site. The shower house was very clean. Great vibes. Highly recommend.

Sleeps With Angels
Nice little campground. Jeremy was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed listening to the music. Shame the rain came in pretty hard the second set of the Counterfeit Crows. We retreated to back to our camper and continued listening to them from there. They kept right on playing even with the rain coming down!
Absolutely one of the best camping experiences of all time. Highly recommend. Chill vibes, Awesome people. It felt like home. Two stages and stellar musical performances. A beautiful campground a few miles from Floyd. The organic farmers market in Floyd is worth a visit too. Thanks to Sly for being such a gracious host!
Such a cool spot. You really don’t even notice any noise from the road. The water access is great and makes it just such a beautiful spot!
We had a tent and easy up and it worked out perfectly. Sly, as always, was super welcoming and the on site amenities (restroom/shower/community kitchen and area/ stage for live music) is a game changer. Any site at hippy hollow is going to be a good time! Pet friendly. There are chickens running around so as long as your dogs don’t mind that, you’re golden!
