Short Stay at River's Edge
First of all, the views are far better in person than online! The campsites are spacious, level, and well-maintained, including a very well-designed water and power "island" set in cement. My only "complaint" was that the water/power/sewer were on the right side (driver side) so I had to run the gray/black hose under the camper, (as well as power and water). Not a biggie, but my observation. It's a tranquil, restful location and doesn't have traffic or other disruptions from traditional campsites. I would stay here again is my lasting impression. The view is unbelievable, and great for sunsets!

Fabulous view…lots of effort
We loved the view from Site 5. The road in was well maintained and marked with yellow directional signs. Jim couldn’t have done a better job at getting us to his land. The site was easy to back into but we were initially confused at the layout of the hookups as they were in the middle of the site. You can either have picnic space on the door side of your camper or hook ups that drain easily from your camper, but not both. It was a struggle against gravity to get to the sewer. Opting for the picnic space meant crawling in the gravel beneath our camper to run the water and sewer and power to the door side. It was frustrating both on check in and check out because in 5 years of full hook up camping we’ve never had to put in the extra effort and I really wasn’t in the mood to skin my knees to get set up. Site 4 might have been workable but the view from the street side slide out would’ve been blocked by unruly trees. Bring some knee pads and some patience and you’ll throughly enjoy Site 5.
