*** Limited Time *** Baby goat born 6/28/2023 Originally part of Blake Farm, built in the 1930's. Blake Farm was subdivided into 5 acres farmettes in the 1990's. The original farmhouse is next door, now known as Agape Farms. The forest has reclaimed much of the original Blake Farm land. Visit over 4 acres of available land, from the pastures, to the wooded creek, or the very back edge of the farm abutting deep woods. Spend relaxing time petting the Nigerian Dwarf goats, Rhode Island Red chickens, and the super-friendly livestock guard dogs (Thomasina, Bucky, and Sarge). We are also located adjacent to Agape Farms, with its horses, ducks, and chickens. All this in horse country just minutes from I-95 and an hour from Washington, DC or Richmond, VA.

Cross Creek-RV hookup (water/elec)
Excellent longer stay
I stayed here longer while I worked in the area and it was a great stay! Rodney was very welcoming and willing to help with any problem I had as a new RVer. Plenty of personal space but still able to see him at times when he goes to feed the animals. Sometimes saying hi and other times striking up conversations! Very intelligent, friendly, and would have stayed here longer if I wasn't moving for work!

The Mulchy Forest site
Convenient traveler's stop
The site it tucked just in the edge of the thicket and provides plenty of privacy for tent camping. It's an easily accessible site for travelers and the lug-a-loo toilet at the site is convenient. The hosts are super friendly and down to earth! This is a working farm so normal farm noise is to be expected.

Farmside Tiny Home Experience
Tiny Home
Very good, quick communication. Beautiful landscape, sunsets, farm animals. Private area in the field (the tiny house). Wood for campfire. Nice views from the tiny house windows in dining/living area. Friendly hosts, Rodney's son was kind and helpful. Suggestions; lawn chairs, picnic table and grill would have been nice for outside Need to bring condiments, soap, detergent, towels.... Has 2 small pans, mugs, glasses, plates, bowls, utensils, candles, toilet paper and paper towels. When I asked for coffee pot and salt/pepper, they graciously brought it. Only one induction burner. Enjoyed my stay!

The Mulchy Forest site
I loved my stay at Rodney's. The campsite is well laid out and intimate. That evening, we were several campers who didn't know each other on the different sites that Rodney offers us and we made a fire together. It was really a beautiful evening. Rodney is welcoming and very easy to communicate with.
