My fiancé and I loved camping here! We brought along our 4 month old lab and it was the perfect camp site to recharge and introduce our new puppy to camping and the river! The site was located right on the water with privacy from the other sites! Graham was an excellent host, stopping by and checking in on us if we needed anything and was extremely welcoming! We had such a great time and can't wait to come back soon!

Site 3 - Private Paradise on Rivers Bend
Campsite 3 was great wood was onsite with a splitting stump, big fire pit there was a nice big table as well. The site was mostly shaded through the day where we put up our popup. (The area was not the most even but for anyone experienced leveling a camper it was a sinch) . The site does have river access, the hike down only took a minute and a half but towards the bottom it gets very steep into the water would not recommend for small children or people that are not halfway athletic. Once down there’s a nice place to cool off if you go up the river about 100 feet there’s a sand bar that’s where the wife and I set up and played with our dog for hrs. Host came and checked up on us making sure we had firewood overall great experience! Lots to do in this area since we have explored Shenandoah pretty well in years past we decided to check out Culpepper it’s a real cool small town we antiqued in the morning then went to old house vineyard great vibes (get there when they open gets busy fast great food and drink) we returned to camp and hung out in the river after we went down to davis street in culpepper and explored we ate at Pinto Thai it was the best Thai food both of us have ever had I could not believe the food options in town went back to camp for smores it was a great relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle of Baltimore.

Site 2 - Private Paradise on Rivers Bend
Site #2 was a near perfect spot for our last few days of a 12 day outing. Road in and out were well maintained and site location was easy. The site was clean, mowed and spacious. The sandy soil drained quickly and was a pleasure for bare footing. Two visits from the owner/son to check on any needs/questions otherwise the great privacy was appreciated. We are already considering a return visit. Thanks for making this wonderful place available to others.

This was a Perfect camping site. The kids had a blast swimming all day in the water. We caught 5 fish- 2 blue gill, 2 chubs and 1 i dont know. The site was clean and half shaded and had Perfect over look down to the river. The fire pit was perfect. Picnic table was sturdy and well made. There was a generous pile of wood that came in handy. It was absolutely perfect, beautiful and peaceful. I highly recommend it. We will be back in the fall. Thanks Graham for sharing this beautiful land with us. We built family memories that will last a lifetime.

I took a 3 night solo trip for some mental time. Two nights were spent at Site 1. This place was an absolute hidden paradise. You’ve got your own little lazy river a few steps from the fire pit. Graham and his kids were awesome. The kids helped load me up with firewood on the first night. Could not recommend this place enough. Fantastic getaway.

What a great spot to camp. Very secluded and easy to get to. The owner was awesome. Our weekend rained most of the time and he brought us dry wood whenever we needed it. My family found a new spot to just get away from the norm. I recommend this spot for a great getaway …thank you Graham!

I travel for a living so I booked this campsite just so I could get out of the hotel room and enjoy the peace of nature for a day. I really enjoyed sitting on the river with my feet in the water!

Fantastic property, very private. Site 1 has easy water access for kids and even a beach area to play. Host was super nice and we would certainly love to return! Firewood (honor pay system) at the site was a major plus (thank you Graham!)

All in all it was a lovely stay...a babbling brook, soft sand for our tents and backs, trees for shade, an open meadow for star gazing, a roaring fire, and peace and quiet.

Site was well maintained. Wood was available on site. Campground was spacious and private. The river was awesome. Little beach for my son to play, room to fish. Current was strong with a lot of recent rain but great non the less! Thanks for hosting Graham!

Graham was a wonderful host and he owns a beautiful piece of land. My partner and I fished the Robinson river for three straight days looking for trout, only caught Sunny’s, Creek chin and small mouth, but it was an absolute blast. Very peaceful and lots of wildlife to watch. Many MANY deer and turkeys and groudhogs and numerous beautiful birds (sparrows, blue birds, hawks, eagles, cardinals, owls). Graham and his young sons were very attentive and kind. The sites are a little closer together than I expected, we like to be pretty secluded when we camp, but it was still a wonderful time with incredible views to take in. I would definitely recommend!!!

We stayed at Site 3 with a travel trailer. It was quite a change trying to get level. We would choose a different site in the future. That said, we had a great weekend. The camp was super private, quiet and beautiful! Graham was a wonderful host. We would highly recommend this place!

Amazing and gracious host with a beautiful property. The camp sites are perfectly laid out so you feel very secluded, especially down by the water. Can’t think of a better campsite, which was a short drive away from the store if you forget things. Can’t wait to come back again!

It was honestly a perfect site. It was open enough for us to have 3 tents and a canopy as well as 3 cars. There was a firepit on-site and wood was dropped off daily which you could use for a minor fee. Got to do some fishing and relaxed by the river with the dogs. Couldn't have asked for a better set up. Just note it is a little steep to get down to the river but no real issue

He was the nicest guy and if there was anything you needed he would get it for you. Ended up asking him good winery’s and breweries and he sent us in the right direction. Alright amount of seclusion. Could see the other fires from the other camp sites but could not here anyone.

Like the locations name says, it’s Paradise. This camp was just perfect. Very peaceful and you can listen to the river passing by. We spent the entire day by the river enjoying its clear waters and serenity. We will definitely be returning here. Graham was a wonderful host.

We absolutely loved our time at Graham’s Hipcamp. We stayed in spot #4 and it was a perfect fit for us- family of 5+1 pup. We have a 20ft off road/off grid trailer and it fit perfectly. The kids loved playing in the river. Our only regret is not staying another night! One thing to note is this site is quite dusty so just be sure to have a mat or something for your shoes before you go in your tent or camper. We highly recommend Graham’s property. Everything is clean and well taken care of. Thanks so much, Graham!

We had the best time at site #4! The water is crystal clear and refreshing, and the easy access made it that much better. You can see the other campers, but the sites are spaced far enough apart that we never heard them. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

What a great spot! I camped with my four person family (11 and 13 year old kids) and everyone had a wonderful time. we were in a spot a bit away from the others, but even if we weren't it would have still seemed quiet overall. close to town and a store or two for groceries or supplies yet still feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. We used this as a quick stop over on our way to Tennessee and wish we had more time there! Thank you!
