Site 3 - Private Paradise on Rivers Bend
Great stay by the river
Site 3 is private and walking down to the river is pretty fun. Neighbors are about 100 yards away, so it's nice and quiet while enjoying your camp fire. Firewood is available on site 3 for $5 a bundle. Graham is a super nice host and recommended nice hikes around the area. Sleeping under the stars was awesome. Morning dew gets heavy though so use your rainfly, unless if you don't mind a little moisture inside your tent. Great place to camp!

River and privacy! A+
Site 4 has great River access down a bank, with a little rocky beach with room for chairs and corn hole boards. The river was low but flowing nicely and was clean and usable for getting water for washing pots etc. It was hot so we were in it a lot. Walking up or down the river is wonderful, with some good fishing spots. Water was ankle to neck deep. My sons caught a dozen or more smallish fish. The site itself has very little grass and is not completely flat so be aware. There is a spot that is a little shaded for a tent, a nice firepit with a grill, and a picnic table, as well as a metal trash can with a lid. Wood is already on site if you want to buy it. Very helpful. We did have three tents and they fit fine. The site is very private! we were very short on space in our vehicles, so we did have to find a place to dump a few bags of trash at the end of our stay, which is a Little inconvenient because the dump was about 40 minutes away. So bring all paper so you can burn it! Graham introduced himself when we arrived and was very helpful and friendly. Again, the river was a highlight!

Site 1 - Private Paradise on Rivers Bend
This is a great site, and one I'm happy to add to my short list of Hipcamp spots within 2 hrs. (or less) from DC. It's spacious, mostly flat, and comes equipped with a picnic table and swing-away grill/firepit. Firewood is also available onsite via an "honor box".
The site is situated on the Robinson river, and the water is deep enough in spots for a chest-high dunk in the pool. I didn't see any large fish where we were, but did hear 3 loud splashes in the middle of the night. Lunker bass? Sasquatch throwing rocks? Who's to say?
Graham is a great host who knows what he's doing. The sites are well maintained, and there is even a small "Hipcamp" sign at the property entrance to let you know you are in the right place. We hope to be back before too long!
NOTE: A trash can is provided for ease of collection, BUT you MUST take your trash with you. Also, we found several ticks during our stay. Just prepare accordingly and stay vigilant!

Our Happy Place!
The was our second time at Grahams property. We stayed at site 1 and it was great! This site is pretty large (could fit 3 tents). The river access was perfect at this site. The site is very private so we felt secluded which was really nice.
We are already planning our fall trip!

Site #2
My family and I had a wonderful time at site 2. We have a 3yr and 6yr old and they had so much fun playing in the river and watching fire flies. The rain wasnt the best, but its camping. It was tricky to get down the bank with them, but the 6yr did it fairly easy. The location and exclusivity of the site made it even better. We will definitely be back to try another site.
Graham was very responsive and easy to communicate with. A great host.
