Michelle and Wendell were terrific hosts and have setup a fantastic environment if you want a chill, low impact camping weekend. The sites are all well maintained, the tent locations are spread out around the pond that is full or blue gill and a few bass. It's great for catch and release if you want to pass the time. The trails are well marked and well maintained as well.
There are porta johns near the site which are VERY well maintained. There is a shower with privacy walls and hot water.
If you're looking for a place to get your family started with camping, this is a good spot to get them engaged.

My fiance, myself, and our pup had the best experience at Peaceful Meadows Farm. We tent camped down by the pond. We had plenty of privacy and truly were able to disconnect for the weekend. We enjoyed a drink by the fire, went fishing, explored, and simply relaxed.
The hosts were attentive and kind. Truly made us feel welcome and like we were old friends. Their property is spacious, well kept, and the perfect weekend getaway! We are looking forward to our next stay.

Check your receipts carefully, and consider an alternate location. We had 6 guests, which was the number of guests advertised as the maximum in the listing. And we all fit in a single site. Yet the was an additional guest fee equal to one night of camping. Additionally, the toilet facilities were filthy - the latrine was full to the top by the end of the day Saturday on Memorial Day weekend and there were wasp nests in the chair left at our site to sit on. We brought this to one of the employeeâs attention, and nothing was done about it during our stay, nor were we offered an another chair.

The campsite was beautiful! Right next to the pond and lovely scenery! The campsites felt a little squished- and the shower had a waspâs nest (the toilet was well kept!) But other than that- it was GORGEOUS. I would definitely camp here again in the future!!

I loved every single moment in that camp site! Michelle and family were amazing during our stay. They were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. I would definitely come back in the future! I recommend it!

Michelle has an amazing land that she turned into a beautiful oasis for campers. The property was filled with her personal touch from the cabin to the outhouse. This is not a commercialized campground that we are all accustomed to seeing. They welcome you personally with such friendly personalities. We had plenty of room to park our Class A RV with full hookups and great WiFi. They also had beautiful tent sites on the pond. I would highly recommend any campers with any kind of RV, tent or even renting the cabin or RV's that they rent. Thank you Michelle for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay camping on Michelleâs property. There are several different sites for tents and trailers, with campfire pits and picnic tables, plenty of trees, trails, a beautiful lake, the most amazing outhouse Iâve ever seen, and best of all, the best hosts you could possibly imagine!
I highly recommend this campsite. We will definitely be back!

We loved camping at peaceful meadow farms. It's a beautiful property with so much to explore and it feels isolated while still being easily accessible. The campsite had a picnic table and a fire pit which was really convenient. My kids loved fishing in the pond and everything was so clean. We will definitely be back!

Incredibly beautiful land with level separate spots. Full hook ups and lots of room to explore hiking. The large pond was a great swimming hole for my dog. The hosts, Michelle and Wendell became fast friends and very helpful with local info and history. Real down home Virginia! Iâll be back!!!

How was your camping trip - PERFECT!!! If you love peace and quiet when camping, if you want privacy, if you love to fish, if you like walking beautiful easy trails, if you want a beautiful campground that is clean, super clean, an outdoor bathroom is beautiful, and ..... if you want campground owners/hosts who are just wonderful folks ...... then I can tell you that you want to go to Peaceful Meadows Farm and Camping. Michelle and Wendell are totally great - they want you to have a great time and they will do what is needed for that to happen. My husband and I have camped for over 40 years and have never found a campground that we loved better than Peaceful Meadows. Totally recommend it with highest ratings.

This campsite was incredibly clean and quiet. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would do it again. The sites are all well spaced and manicured. Hookups are reliable. The public toilet is clean and top notch (for an outhouse)!

Peaceful Meadows Farm was exactly as it states. We stayed in one of the spots âup topâ (not near the pond) because we have a 19 foot camper that was too wide to drive down to the pond. That was ok! We had a beautiful view of the stars all 3 nights and it was very quiet and relaxing during the day. So much property to explore and so many trails to hike! There are several ponds on the property and a lot of great tent camping spots along the pond and nestled back in the woods! Almost wished we were still tent campers :) Michelle & her husband were very friendly and took the time to check on us more than once, and share more about their land. We enjoyed staying here - you wonât be disappointed!

Due to our itinerary, we had to arrive at the campsite late at night, but it rained. However, when we arrived, we found out that there was a problem with the camper water system. We had no idea how to solve the problem, and the camper rental company also told us that they would not be able to provide us with the door room until the next morning, which was a difficult situation. However, the water was available thanks to the devoted help of the owner and his wife. It was late and it was raining, but they even went back home to bring us some repair equipment. Thank you very much. I think I will come back with a leisurely schedule next time I have a chance.

Beautiful quiet camping in an area of tall pine trees, and the fishing in the pond was good. The electric and water service for our RV site was reliable. Clean outhouse.

This was our first experience with HipCamp and it didn't disappoint! Michelle was an excellent host and her campground was wonderful; very clean and well maintained. We camped in a 36' RV and there were no issues for bigger rigs and the site itself was great with full hookups. The trails through the woods were cleared and great to walk our dogs.
We will definitely recommend Peaceful Meadows Farm and it will be our first choice when we are back in the area again!

Beautiful Hipcamp! Reminded me of state park camping with the woods, pond, and trails. We are in a 38 foot motorhome and opted for a non-hookup spot, as it was more spacious than the electric spaces. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

This is such a beautiful, and peaceful place! The hospitality was more, and beyond. I traveled a lot during my 20 years in the Military, and have been to a lot of campgrounds, and this place is a top favorite!!! Weâll be back for sure!
