Amy was incredible from the small the humongous of problems, when we got there, I tried setting up my new tent which surprise was broken from the gate, (should have checked it before in hind sight) and Amy brought out options to borrow. She saved me from utter destruction! The camp ground was so amazing, the She shed is this boundless space with so much love for everyone who comes. It has charging space, refrigerator , place to hangout, cool knickknacks, and other camping supplies. There is a public pool that is open 24hrs, just personally I respect no noise after 11pm because it’s attached to Amy’s home. There was a Goat pen where you can feed and pet them! An after dark black light trail and for those dedicated to find the surprise at the end, a suspended swing over looking the creek. There was multiple retreat type spaces that are communal and from my friends who came, over and over they expressed how magical these spaces and the whole campground is. As many reviews have said, there was never a moment that could have gone wrong because Amy was always there to make it better . She is always checking in and supporting our camping adventure. Most thoughtful, relaxing and overall awesome experience and land. The host is super sweet and leaves treats everywhere. Goats, chickens, and dogs live on the property too. Peaceful creek to sit and enjoy your treats. The spot with all the hammocks was so restful. Hope to go back soon!

Been there 2x before. I love Amy and her staff. Tent site was flat. Terrain is hilly but that is what I like . Plan to go back in few. Months. Wonderful experience

Amy was very accommodating. I wasn't going to make it in by the normal check-in time and in this instance she was able to work with me and I'm very grateful! She even came out to greet me in the rain. It's a cool space. I was tent camping and plenty of flat ground. It was quiet* and remote and had a great feel. Especially the little forested hammock hideaway. You may want to be aware that it is a farm so *roosters are not aware of quiet hours. You may want to bring ear plugs. I would definitely go back when I have some time to explore the place. I was there to ride the High Bridge Trail and it is very convenient to the trailhead.

Awesome farm! Cute goats, well stocked camp store, fun paths for day time and night time treks. Creek goes through the property, great for hot days. Most of all the accommodating host! Amy is a treasure ❤️

One of a Kind experience. See what I did there. Seriously, wonderful host and farmers. The property has all kinds of spirituality that take the form of areas with hammocks, yurts, fairy outposts, curated trails, event areas, added refrigeration and other amenities for what "campers forget". I learned a lot from Amy about a lot of things. She is a fantastic artisan grower as well. Prepare to enter a sanctuary and to leave feeling balanced and full of goodness.

Amy has been absolutely wonderful and has made us feel like family from the minute we pulled into the farm! I can’t not express enough putting this on your bucket list! Very beautiful property and she has been one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met ! Also our puppy has loved it here . He has roamed free and made friends with her dogs as well ❤️🔥 will definitely be back 10/10 recommend !

Blown away by the love and hospitality! This is a true gem an a honor to be able to even be at the farm! I’ve been to a handful of hip camps now, but this one I’ll be back to over and over again. Amy and her husband made there land a piece of heaven, something we should all strive to do ourselves

Absolutely amazing place! Beautiful scenery, great people, dog friendly and the delivered home-made breakfast and dinners were incredible. With the she-shed general store this is not reason to leave the farm. This was honestly the most relaxing vacation I have ever taken. Highly recommended! Thank you Amy and Phil

My husband and I planned a nice quiet weekend and happened to be apart of a great event supporting Veterans. We have already decided to come again next year but will also go when we can enjoy the beauty of the farm and trails. Was able to quickly walk through trails but have great quiet spaces to listen to nature and ground yourself. Thank you Amy for being a great host even with the chaos.

First off the vibe when you arrive is amazing. You are greeted by a hug from Amy as soon as you arrive. It was like you had been on vacation and had made it home. You felt welcome and appreciated. You didn't meet a stranger everyone was hanging out swapping stories and it was amazing to meet so many different people. The food, trails, view etc was a fresh breath of air. Something that was needed but you received way more than you thought you needed. I left relaxed calm mellowed and renewed. Only bad complaint I can say was it was so hard and so sad to leave the farm and Amy and her crew. Felt like leaving family. I will definitely be back soon and bringing others that could get alot out of this place! Great job to Amy, her husband, her dad, her dogs, and the crew behind the scenes yall rock!! 👏 Peace and love it was amazing coexisiting with you guys!

Camping on The Farm
The most chill of experiences. Amy fosters an incredibly friendly community of campers and emphasizes group events. Campsite selection is very open, and she's happy to help you find a site that suits your needs. Lots of daily options if you want entertainment or more community, food options if you didn't bring any (or they didn't work out), you can keep to yourself or mingle as you please. Just a very mellow time, pressures of the outside world entirely absent.

The Farm is the most magical place I have ever visited. As soon as we stepped out of the car and were greeted by Amy, all of our cares and worries disappeared. I honestly cannot say enough about this place. I highly recommend it to everyone. We Came for 1 day and are not sure when we are leaving.

Tent camping there was a breeze. There were plenty of flat spots to set up either in the clearing or the woods, under the sun or a shady spot. The water way trail was very peaceful with a bench swing to enjoy the creek from. The communal yurt was also a nice touch. The "She Shed" was a cute hangout space full of unique work for sale by local artists. In addition to camping there were also daily itineraries that included optional add-ons like breakfast, guided mushroom walk, live music, crafts, and more. The dogs were sweethearts and the owners were very kind and generous, even going out of their way to try and help us in our goals of finding land to homestead on. Overall, even for those of us that don't partake, it was still an interesting experience and opportunity to meet new people. The only thing that would make it better would be upgrading from the portable toilets to a shower/bathroom building, but it's already great as is.

What a beautiful, magical, and well-kept property. Amy and Phil are the hostesses with the mostesses, so welcoming and accommodating. It is clear so much energy, thought, care, love and respect has been poured in to the land creating a peaceful camp stay.

Unexpected joy and community.
Amy and Phil are quite the fun and lively hosts at this beautifully groomed and well serviced farm.
We were so pleased to find so many creative flower experiences to be had on the land - you have to go and see for yourself! A well kept secret only 1.5 hr from Richmond.
